I went to the Pancheros located in Fridley. I thought they have very friendly service. They let me sample the steak and I thought that was a very nice gesture and the steak was very good and I ordered the quesadilla and ordered some things inside of a quesadilla and it was really delicious it was a much better than their competition that starts with a C. There is another Mexican restaurant across the street from them not to mention names but they are not on the same scale as Pancheros. Pancheros have fresh meat and vegetables only thing missing would be the cilantro. I will come and visit at least once a week. read more

Only if I was starving would I get ripped off eating here again. This place charges for everything including $1 for onions on my tacos? Which was a hidden charge at end btw. Also, was over charged and paid for a large guacamole which ended up being 2 smalls, not a large so instead of paying g $1 for each small, they charged me $2.50 for 2 smalls?! Not happy with this place and really bummed there's not much good Mexican food around here and this place was a huge disappointment. Tacos were tiny and paid way too much for them. My daughter did like her quesadilla at least, thus the 1 star save. read more

Let's get this out of the way. Chipotle is way better. Anyway, I got the steak bowl. Steak tastes like spaghetti o's Chefboy R D meat and it's super dry and flavorless. The guacamole tastes pre-packaged and disgusting, the queso is however super delicious, and the lettuce does not taste fresh. Panchero's is better than QDoba but Chipotle is way better than both. Would I come here again? Only if there was no Chipotle around. read more

Look, I like fast casual food. I like Chipotle. I like Qdoba, and I figured this place must be somewhere in between given what the menu was like. I ordered a burrito bowl and it was completely flavorless. The chicken was overcooked, unseasoned, and for some reason, both diced and shredded. The queso was bland and grainy. The worst part though was the vegetables. They tasted like they had been boiled and were completely waterlogged. It added like two tablespoons of gross liquid to my meal. read more

Pancheros in Cedar Falls, IA has absolutely terrible service. There were 5 employees working and only 2 were serving several customers. I was the first in line and nobody offered to help until I sat there for 10 minutes while other customers trailed in and waited behind me. Also, they were completely out of queso on a Saturday evening during prime supper hours. I cannot express how ridiculous that experience was at a semi fast food restaurant. read more

Bad news first: if you're going to offer fresh, made-to-order tortillas, you need to leave them in the press or on the griddle long enough to cook and take on some color. Merely flattening and warming through some half-cooked dough might give the impression that the tortilla is made, but the unpleasant, flour-dough taste is totally distracting. I know: you're new. You're busy. But please, heat the tortillas correctly or people may not come back. Good news: Everything else-- chips, guac, salsa, meat, rice, everything-- was good. The burrito could be an admirable product if this one, easy fix is made. Slow down. Give my tortilla some texture. read more

Attempted to ask questions about the food due to a dairy and gluten allergy and the employees clearly could not understand me or answer simple questions. I have to say that even though I have only dined here once, it has moved to my favorite "big burrito" joint outside of TX (Freebirds). They press their fresh tortilla's right in front of you, they offer queso for the burrito, and the corn salsa was delish......will be back!!! read more

We always stop at the Fargo, ND location so decided to give this one a try one day. Placed our order on the app like we typically do and have never had problems. We get there a little early but I head in anyway in case it's done early. I tell them I'm there picking up a mobile order and they say ok and then there I stand for 10 minutes which is now past my pickup time of when my order is ready. I watch an entire family come in and be helped and no one is making my burritos. Finally I ask again and they tell me nothing has come in on their system, ummm ok why would you not have said that 10 minutes ago? We spend another 10 minutes of the lady at the checkout calling the manager and trying to figure out what to do when I finally tell her again I have my order on my phone that shows paid. I tell her I just want to get my burritos and leave and she is welcome to take a picture of the completed order on my phone to sort it out later(duh, why do I need to stand there because your system isn't working when you already have my money). Of course then I have to go through the line and order like normal which apparently I should have just done in the first place. No apologizes, no offer to fix anything. Will NOT be going back to this location ever again!! read more

This was my first time at a Panchero's and it was delicious! The homemade tortillas are awesome. And the 2 tacos I got were a perfect amount of food. (A certain competitor Ch... has way too much food per order which is frustrating.) I had the pork which was really tasty and the toppings were really good. The lettuce looked a little brown though. The price was fantastic. I think it was $16-$17 for 4 tacos, 1 side of chips and salsa, and one pop. I should have signed up for the Panchero's club because I will most likely be back! read more

I am so happy to have Panchero's in the twin cities! I am from Iowa City where this chain was started. They are very similar to Chipotle, but they have amazing tortillas (way better than Chipotle) AND they have queso...sigh. Panchero's has solved every problem there was with Chipotle. OK, but there are better choices for the price. I was expecting alot more from this place going by the reviews for this and the other locations. They had the same burrito, salad, taco choices that Chipotle does and not nearly the choices of Qdoba. I liked the idea of the fresh pressed/cooked torillas, but they were very chewy & sweet. Smelt and tasted a bit like a pancake. I had a chicken burrito with rice, black beans, sour cream, cheese, pico, hot sauce, cheese and lettuce. The burrito was about the same price as Chipotle or Qdoba, but about 25% smaller. The size would be perfect if the price wasn't the same. I actually can't eat a full Chipotle or Qdoba burrito with the same ingredients. The fillings were OK, but I like the flavor of Chipotle & Qdoba better (esp the shell) and those two have more spice (Chipotle with their cilantro and Qdoba with their habenero salsa). Plus Qdoba has alot more food choices. read more

For fast food burritos, these are very good. Can get a little pricey if you want to load up the burrito. Fresh tortilla wraps pressed as you order. Everything was very fresh. Good flavoring. Will be back for more. read more

I absolutely love this place!! After going there many times with my brother we finally introduced ourselves to one of the managers, Matt, who has been awesome to us every time we've been there! Be carefully when you pay as they will overcharge you. (Charge you for extra chicken and things even when you don't get it) The manager is also very rude and has poor customer service. Acted very arrogant last two times I have been there. I watched him send a guy to the end of the line because they didn't make what he asked for. The customer was way more polite then i would have been. Also guy making my burrito spit into it when asking what I wanted in it. This was my first time eating at this restuarant and I was delighted. The atmosphere and the kindness of the staff were outstanding. I came in with my husband and 2 kids for lunch today on a snowy day. I was impressed to see that it was clean and the staff was friendly (joking around with my kids and such). Having never been here before I didn't know what to get and was presented with nothing but helpful ideas. We were walked down the line and explained what everything was. I ordered a burrito bowl with chicken, queso, corn salsa, sour cream, guacamole, mild salsa, cheese and lettuce. My husband had a steak burrito with vegetables, queso, corn salsa, pico de gallo, sour cream, cheese, hot sauce, jalapenos. The kids just got cheese quesadillas with sour cream. The woman who helped us was very nice and when I asked if they sold milk, she said no, but give me one second. Then came back up with 2 glasses of milk for my kids and said that they were on her. The food was awesome and we are most definitly going to be back. As we were leaving the restuarant every staff member said thank you for coming and we hope to see you again. So with that all being said, great fresh food, great service and a great atmosphere! We will be back. read more

This is currently my favorite place to grab a bite. It will draw comparison to Chipotle and Qdoba of course but unlike its competitors, they make the burrito tortilla right in front of you before they start stuffing it with the goodies. Sure they charge extra for vegetables but its nothing out of reach. The ingredients are always fresh, the service has always been friendly and the burrito has always been delicious. It's still surprising to taste how big of a difference it is when it comes to making the burrito tortilla and grilling it right on the spot to heating some pre-packaged tortilla. read more

For the first time ever, went to this Pancheros Mexican Grill. It was the worst food I tasted. Then the woman was sweeping around our food. We told her go sweep somewhere else. No one was in the place. She continued to sweep!! The food was cold like it was sitting there for a long time. The lettuce I couldn't eat. The queso was horrible. I couldn't eat it. Taco Bell would be much better. As others have stated Chipolte wins hands down. No comparison. Will not be going here again. After eating there, I hope I live through the night. read more
