From what I could tell, this is like the Mexican version of Saladworks and Subway. You go in and tell them a base to begin building your item (Is it a salad, taco, burrito, quesadilla, etc?), and then proceed to create your unique item using their ingredients - I made a taco salad, and these were the results: Carnitas were nice in texture, but had no true flavor. The medium-heat salsa verde was more dull and limey than expected. Guacamole was average. And the queso sadly just tasted like bland white American cheese, melted and then mixed with diced tomatoes. Would've been better with jalapenos, or any kind of heat, but I guess they were out of it. Employees here were relatively aloof and quiet, probably working too long behind the counter. But at least around them were puns and stories on the walls to keep attention of anyone interested. Overall it's meant to be welcoming and fun as a restaurant chain, and I'm almost disappointed their food and service can't match. Staff is so rude. Won't stop having their conversations in Spanish the whole time I'm ordering so they are not even listening to what I'm saying. Kept having to repeat myself and they still got it wrong. Queso is also super watery and my burrito is not great. Also messed up ringing up my order and had to pay twice. read more

What a huge bust, I thought I was going to get the best burrito of my life boy was I wrong. Huge on rice huge on beans but chicken? Don't expect to much meat if you go there. It was not even as tasty as a burrito is supposed to taste. Got The quesadilla too it was smaller than the quesadilla you get from wawa as the matter of fact wawa quesadilla is better bang for the buck. We should not even be comparing wawa to this but wawa quesadilla is just better. Save money go to wawa. Now back to this chicken burrito or should I say rice and hard beans Burrito because there was just a few pieces of chicken cubes on it. Chipotle has a better burrito with way more meat which I think brings on the Mexican flavor. The taste is just not what I expected it's just plain boring it sucked. The taste is just to plain I ate frozen burritos with better Mexican taste step it up over there with more flavor and stop putting this disgusting lime taste in the sauces. This location has way better flavor food than every other pancheros I have ever been to. I drive out of my way to go to this location. The service is incredible also! I always get incredible service here. Today, I came close to closing and really wanted veggies but they were out. I expected to just have them say "oh sorry, we are out" but the woman working actually cooked some for me! I was treated with a smile the whole time. Holy mother of God this is the best burrito I've ever had. Location just opened up months ago near my work. I kept hearing people rave about this place and was pretty much like eh. I'm not a true authentic Mexican food lover, I prefer American version Mexican food but this is an excellent mix of both. Sent my coworker out for burritos today so I haven't been in the store, YET. I'll be stopping there tonight to get burritos for dinner for hubs and I. So happy we have another great option for food in the area! One can only eat Italian (ie pizza) and Chinese food so many days in a row! Thanks Panchero's! Super glad you're not a Chipolte! Pricing was appropriate, $8 for a burrito the length of my forearm. They fresh press their tortillas which makes all the difference in the world. Been eating at Pancheros in PA and now I'm Berlin for years...usually get bowl to go with mild sauce on side so not soggy for take out...manager at this location that I have been too MANY times decided that I should pay $2.50 for same amount of sauce in cup that he was going to put on bowl...tried to explain that this made no sense since it's the same amount of product and $2.50 to put in cup?? He appeared to be English challenged. I left and went to Chipotle and had FAR SUPERIOR BOWL...thanks for chasing good customer away. Extremely disappointed with my order. Grist it wouldn't let me order off the website kept telling me there was an error so I called in my order for pick up. Avoid. The portions are so small for what they charge it's beyond ridiculous. Two small scoops of chicken in a big burrito really aren't going to cut it and one extra small scoop for an additional charge barely made a difference. Not terrible, not impressive. The service is great, but the place is new. The interior is clean and shiny, but the place is new. There was a long line for lunch, but the place is new. The staff worked through the line quickly and efficiently. I chose a burrito bowl, even though Panchero's presses fresh tortillas as they're ordered. Chicken, white rice, black beans and the usual fixings -- it's quite similar to Chipotle, except the portions are smaller. Pricing is the same, but less food. The bowl was good, but not filling. For $11, I got a drink, the bowl and a side of their blue tortilla chips (no salsa). The location is so-so. It's difficult to get here if you're on 73 going south. This place also reeks like an auto repair shop. That being said ... It's a great addition to Berlin (though there are a few family-owned, authentic Mexican restaurants in town). read more

I went into this experience having some high hopes, but as soon as i stepped through the door I was in for quite the rude awakening. Upon entering this panchero's, there was a small child sitting on the ground by the soda machine being very obnoxious. Then, walking up to order, I was greeted by a very angry looking individual that was a member of the staff. There were 3 of them working, and none of them had smiling faces... how unprofessional and unwelcoming! The portion size of the food is child like and the taste is very lacking in the flavoring department. I got chips and queso with my order, and the chips were BLUE and stale, and the queso was that of shit quality.. I couldn't eat more than a couple bites. I spent $13 on food that i wouldn't even feed my dog. Take your well earned money somewhere else, preferably chipotle. read more

Imagine trying to replicate Chipotle and failing....same style, same set up. The only difference is this place has blue corn chips and queso. The portions are 1/2 the size as chipotle. The service was slow, but friendly. I got a chicken bowl with corn salsa, salsa verde, cheese and sour cream. It didn't fill the bowl, and I am still hungry. I will be not be returning. 4th time going and once again I am dissatisfied. I haven't seen the place busy and the ingredients do not seem fresh. Rice seems a bit undercooked and the chicken was tough. Two flavors of tea were empty as well. Trash cans were so full you could not fit a drink in them. Fresh pressed burrito was doughy every time, as if they are in a rush, with no one behind me. I will start off by saying, Panchero's Is a great chain of chipotle styled Mexican food. What puts Panchero over the top in my opinion is that they mix the food in the burrito. But this Panchero's location puts all others to shame. It's relatively new but every time I've been there compared to other locations they cheat you on the portions. This place is great. The employees do a good job and the owner is often present and very hard working. He knows how to treat customers when there is a legitimate dispute. I have been visiting Panchero's for over 2 years now (used to visit the Voorhees one) and I have had two payment issues but was quickly taken care of by the owner himself. In one case I was double charged but once we figured out it was their mistake, I was taken care of and was even happier than I was before the dispute. The food is great (most times I think it is better than Chipotle). Prices are about the same too. They don't seem to give you a lot, it's a decent amount of food, but not quite as much as Chipotle. For that reason, and the fact that a tortilla is an extra charge when getting a bowl here vs. free at Chipotle, I am giving 4 stars. Still very tasty and I will be back. read more

I've always loved pancheros since day 1. I never have an issue and today they ran out of rice right when I got there. I was told it would be done in 2 minutes but it winded up being 15. I was a little annoyed but I understand things happen. Manager was very apologetic and gave me one of my burrito bowls for free.
