    a burrito and rice

Decided to give this place a try due to the good reviews. My co worker and I was around the area for work. Just like the usual, we love trying to try local places. So when we came across this place on yelp with good reviews, we decided to give it a try. The place look somewhat authentic, it's small with about 4 tables. We waited a little bit to be seated because all tables was full. The menu have quite a few option. I ordered their burrito with the side of rice and my co worker ordered the burrito that is fried (forgot the name lol) and the pina colada. The burrito was dry, even with the sauce, it wasn't delicious at all. The meat was okay (we both orders the fried pork) The rice doesn't really have flavor. The pina colada was so watery-not creamy at all, not my type of pina colada. Would I come back, sorry to say but no. Would I recommend it? Maybe. Maybe other people would like it, but I personally didn't. However, if people want to give it a shot to try, then why not.

Craving some Mexican food while visiting south Jersey- found this place Got their shrimp fajitas and 3 tacos- came out to be around $27 Decent portions and the tacos were delicious! I feel like it's a little on the expansive side but I guess with inflation- that's not too bad? Would come back for sure!

Wow. Pure healthy tasty high quality cuisine. Ok. I don't know how healthy. I told my wife to buy a bigger coffin. Fantastic Mexican Food. On my bucket list is to try the whole menu as soon as I can understand what I'm getting. The Birria Tacos are fabuloso. Comes with a green sauce, an orange sauce and some type of soup. All super intense tastes. Reminds me of Indian food. "Chalo Chalo" The meat in the taco is substantial and melts in your mouth. There is some kind of cheese that's out of this world. Maybe Oaxaca. The freshness of the soup is unparalleled. Thank goodness this place is close to home. One point of order. The frappe was not made until I got there. I'm glad. Construction on the road detoured me. It was fresh! Jesus and the team do nice work. Not much, but nice!

The food wasn't pricey at all and the customer service was good, but the food lacked a lot of flavor. My burrito was flavorless, but the fries was 10/10 amazing. Will give this place another try though.

Hands down to the best tacos I've tried in very long time. I wish they told me there were regular size (I asked and the lady helping us said they were small), I order 4: suadero, campechano, lengua and chorizo. And yes, I had enough for left over We also ordered the carne asada burrito and beets with orange juice!! OMG this just made me feel like I was at home, the flavor and freshness are amazing. The only thing I would like to request is: please stop with the "corridos", as Mexicans we have a very wide music selection and got a little tired of that specific type of music.

Stopped by for quick lunch. Plenty of street parking outside, small seating area. Absolutely delicious food, very authentic and fresh! Ordered veggie enchiladas and tacos , both were flavorful. Tacos came with two spicy salsas which were both very good and would highly recommend!

It was my first time here today and the food is spectacular, however I'm docking 2 stars because of how deceitful the person ringing me up was. I went in to get some food because I was starving and really needed something to eat, and this place was close to me. So I stopped by- when I entered, the place was small yet clean which was nice. I looked at the menu and tried to decide on what to eat and ended up getting a vegetarian huarache, which is basically a thick corn tortilla with mashed black beans on top and other veggies (jalapeños, peppers, beets, cilantro, etc) and feta cheese on top. It took a little while for me to get the food, which I completely understand because they were making it fresh, so I took a seat and waited. When my food was ready, I went up to get it, and noticed the sign at the register that if you pay in cash that you get about a 4% discount off your order. So when the woman who rang me up asked if I was going to pay in cash, I asked her how much it would cost, and she said $10. So I thought "ok, it would be more money if I used a card" so I handed her a $20 and she gave me $10 back. I went back to my office and started devouring the food. It was really good. Not sure if my tastebuds were supersonic due to the fact that I hadn't eaten all day, but it was really good, authentic Mexican food. I was curious to see how much money I saved using cash so I went onto their website to see how much the huarache normally costs, and when I checked, the menu said it was $8.99, NOT $10. I ended up paying MORE than the list price WITH cash, when I was supposed to get a 3.99% discount from the $8.99 when I used cash. It feels as though the woman at the register took advantage of me for not knowing how much my food was and upcharge me, and it made the rest of my meal not taste as great. But I did learn a lesson- make sure you know exactly how much whatever you're buying costs because you don't know who will charge you more than is necessary!

This place is a gem to me, being a Hispanic male from New York I have specific standards to Mexican food which this place seems to fulfill. I wanted nachos, they had nachos, I wanted tostadas (which happen to be the best dish ever) they had it, although not as good as some of the places in New York or even in Central Jersey it's still pretty delicious. I would 100% recommend this place, where it's located it's easy to miss due to its small location but if you want great tasting Mexican cuisine, this is the place for you. Try it out and give me a holler, let me know how it goes. Enjoy!

Shrimp tacos and enchiladas with salsa verde!! We also had tamarindo juice all was very delicious will go back again!

Service and food was 5 stars so delicious!! We had shrimp tacos, guacamole, tamarindo juice and enchiladas with salsa verde!! Wow that's an amazing gem of a restaurant!

The people who run this place are great and the food is too. A little tip is to order 30-40 mins ahead because it can get busy.

She was dealing with a pretty busy room, so kudos to her for remaining calm. I'm so happy they are able to offer a lunch special even on a Saturday. I went for the $12 nacho salad which came with a side of rice and beans. Fantastic. But my favorite part of the meal was actually the complimentary salsa and chips. HANDS DOWN AMONG THE BEST I'VE EVER EATEN. The salsa was killer, made from scratch, a nice tart tangy kick. The chips were hand made, nice and thick to hold the heft of the salsa and perfectly salted. Honestly, I could've slurped the salsa up on its own. I want to come back just for that!

I had absolutely no idea there was a Tacoria this close to one of my family home locations until I…read morespotted it on the map. My very first Tacoria experience was at the Edgewater, NJ location. Needless to say, I was hooked. I've tried so much on their menu across multiple locations, met some of the most genuinely kind staff, and I just keep coming back. When I say my man & I have Tacoria often, I mean it - the quality never disappoints no matter which location we go to. PARKING The parking lot is on the smaller side, but I pulled in around 4:30 PM on a Friday and had zero trouble finding a spot. ATMOSPHERE This location is absolutely gorgeous. You can really feel small bits and pieces of Philadelphia woven into the space; I genuinely loved seeing that reflected here. Tacoria always brings an amazing atmosphere no matter where you go, and this location is no exception. There is also outdoor seating available when the weather allows it. I could have easily eaten in and felt a little bittersweet about not doing so. That said, the inside is beautiful. MENU & FOOD Since my man is usually the one ordering for us, I had to take a moment to recall our go to order. The big menu board is a lot to take in at once, so I appreciated that Justin, the guy working the counter, handed me one of the smaller menus to look through. That made it so much easier to find what I usually get. I ordered the burrito box with Brussels sprouts and carne asada (double the protein), the Nutella nachos (which are my absolute favorite, they're a must), and an agua fresca. I swear if Tacoria started selling Agua Fresca by the gallon I would buy it! Fair warning: I am never fully able to finish a whole burrito box in one sitting. I can usually get through about three quarters of it, but honestly that is not a complaint at all because Tacoria tastes just as delicious the next day warmed up. For the agua fresca, I went with my usual horchata, but there are three options available: horchata, limonada, and guava and basil. My boyfriend's go-to is the limonada that he mixes with the guava. They also have regular refreshments available, but if you're new here, please try an agua fresca, you will not regret it. For sauces, they have to go containers to fill up at your disgression, I loaded up on salsa verde, habanero, smoky roja, and Valentina. I just love building out my burrito box with literally all of them. For a Polish girl, I LOVE SPICY FOOD. LOCATION I originally knew the other south jersey location, but that one has always been a bit too far out for me. According to Justin, this location opened up in August 2025. Therefore, knowing that this one is so close now is genuinely dangerous for my wallet; I can already see myself ordering here way too often, and I am completely fine with that. Tacoria started in New Brunswick and has been growing and expanding ever since, and I'm thrilled to see it making its way into this area. More people deserve to have access to this food. ALL IN ALL, I have to give a huge shoutout to Justin, because he genuinely made this first-time experience at this location so special. We were talking back and forth while I looked through the menu, and he was warm, helpful, and just the kind of person you're happy to interact with. At the end of it all, he comped my agua fresca because it was my first visit to this location, and honestly, that kind of generosity and hospitality says everything about the culture of this place. I went back in after I had already walked out just to get his name so I could mention him here, because that level of customer service deserves to be recognized. Tacoria is always going to be my go-to for a feel-good, delicious, well-made meal when I want to treat myself. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is always amazing, and the people make every single visit worthwhile. If you have never been, I cannot recommend it enough. Just go.
