Panchos has been a staple in good and fresh Mexican food. Tonight however, was very disappointing. My party arrived at 8 pm (4 adults). There was literally no other patrons in the restaurant. We ordered quickly and waited and waited. Our food came out room temperature. The waiter disappeared and when he came back to check on us and we told him about all four plates being room temperature he shrugged and said something like "it shouldn't be, what do you want"? I can't blame it on the Chinet plates we were served though. We will not be back. read more

Came in to eat with my significant other, for the first and only experience there I will be having there. First came in had a wait to be seated sign and waited at it for a good 10/15 minutes before we got even spoke to, get seated, got a cheese dip as an appetizer and sweet tea, ended up with our glasses empty before even get checked back in on, got what we ordered, started to eat and in the middle of taking a bite the rude older lady waitress comes up and says theres no smoking electronic cigarettes in the building. Before eating at Ponchos... I wasn't a fan of Mexican food. This restaurant has both a absolutely beautiful interior and amazing food. My husband and I can't get over the fact that they have such incredibly low prices with some of the best food locally. Not just the best Mexican food but the best food all together. Not hard to see why they are one of the VERY few places to eat in Liberty. That has been successful. Just amazing, authentic Mexican food. The last time I was in I had the daily special. Which was shrimp chim. The shrimp was large and cooked in a garlic sauce to perfection. The owners are always there and working hard, waiting tables and cooking. Very nice people. Came here because husband had visited in past and thought it was great. Unfortunately not the case today. We had 7 ( 5 under age of 12) in our group- and they brought three tiny bowls of salsa- 2 of which were hot. ( the salsa was good) When we asked for more, it seemed as if they were given very begrudgingly. And we were given 6 sets of silverware with one tiny napkin around each fork. We had to constantly beg for more napkins.....reminder we had 5 children. The food was bland and my daughters shrimp were completely RAW. They seemed to have a hard time understanding what was wrong with the food she received. They replaced it with the chicken tenders ( that they had already tried to serve our table) but in no way attempted to correct it in any other way. The Chile Verde is authentic, and the only authentic Chile Verde I have found in the Upstate. It is very good. Otherwise, the menu is typical and white washed for the local palate. Fajitas, crunchy tacos, Pollo Fundito, etc. In 3 years living in the Upstate, Pancho's has the only good, authentic Chile Verde I have found, in either Greenville, Clemson, or Anderson. For al pastor burritos, tortas mexicanos, quesadillas, Las Meras Tortas on White Horse is hard to beat. Taqueria Guiri Guiri in Anderson is excellent as well. read more

Tried it for the first time last night. Not a good experience. Saw my server only 2 times and that was after someone had to track him down after sitting at the table with no drinks for 15 minutes. No apologies. No introduction. All that he said was "You ready?" The hostess that night was the only thing that made it better. She brought our drink order out. She brought our food out....which was okay. And with no server in sight, she brought our bill. I wish I could've left a tip for her instead of the awful server. Trust me, I tried to. She was great! We have 2 Mexican restaurants in Liberty, Fiesta is more for fast food Mexican and Panchos is if you want more authentic Mexican cuisine. Inside looks beautiful and very elegant. We've been to all the local Mexican restaurants in the area and so far Pancho's has been our overall favorite. They have very good service and do a great job seasoning their food. We order pickup with them frequently and they always have the food ready to go in the given time. I've never ordered anything from the bar, so I can't speak to their mixed drinks. The new restaurant in Liberty has a great atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to any locals or people visiting the area. read more

We go to Pancho's in Liberty often. By far the best one out of the 3 in our area! The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. Food was fresh and delicious! The atmosphere is friendly and pleasant, with good service. (I hate when food servers constantly interrupt conversations during dinner - Pancho's staff members were respectful and discreet.) I love what the owners have done with the building, which is open, spacious, brightly decorated and immaculately clean. The owner let us taste her latest recipe, which was scrumptious - I hope it's added to the menu! More people should patronize this small business with very hardworking and conscientious owners. It's a jewel in Liberty and just a few miles from several nearby towns. It's definitely worth the short drive! We are patrons that visit this place at least 1 time a week, however the last several times we have asked for a cup to go, because we have a full glass and would like to take it with us, since we have already paid for it, and each time they bring us an 8 oz cup, I was told tonight that they did not give out the 16 oz cups for take away drinks, kind of tacky I think when we spend at least 30.00 a week there, Will not be back again because of this, you know you can buy 20 16oz. cups for 1.00 at the dollar store,, Cheap huh???? They would rather throw it away than see the customer take it after they have paid for it read more
