I placed a pickup order and everything was packed really well. The tacos were full of flavor and the consommé was especially gooood. If you are looking for traditional, authentic, homemade Mexican food, look no further, Pancho's is the place! Every time I come here, I feel like I'm back at my grandma's house. The restaurant serves delicious, fresh food in a very homey atmosphere. The servers are kind, attentive, and so helpful; from time to time, you might even be served by Pancho himself, who is an absolute gem! We started with the guacamole and chips, followed by the nachos, where you can customize them with your choice of meat. For our entrees, we ordered the Huaraches with steak, which is a large, handmade, slightly fried tortilla topped with beans, onions, lettuce, crema, and cheese. We also got the Tacos, which come five to an order. You can choose up to two meats, but we stuck with the classic Al Pastor. The meat was so tender and flavorful, served with the traditional onion, cilantro, and lime on the side. Finally, and my personal favorite, we had the Picaditas. Like the tacos, you can choose two meats, so we went with Al Pastor and steak. Similar to the Huaraches, these are four smaller, slightly fried homemade tortillas with green and red sauce on the bottom, topped with lettuce, onion, and cheese! To wash everything down, we had the homemade Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus tea), though their Horchata is also delicious. Overall, this is one of my favorite spots; it reminds me of my childhood, and the food is just as good as what you'd find in Mexico. With a craving for fish tacos and horchata, my group decided to try a new restaurant leading us to finding Panchos. This unassuming gem is so great, and seems to thrive on takeout orders, leaving the dining room virtually empty (yay us!) We had an assortment of dishes to get a feel of what this place was good at and to no surprise: they aced every single one. The fish tacos, though they looked plain, were so flavorful and crispy and we couldn't get enough. The other types of tacos were also packed with flavor and so incredibly addicting. We also shared nachos as an appetizer and to our surprise, the chips were fresh and the nachos were topped with tender pieces of steak. It's hard to find a good pozole, and this one was filled with meat and honestly could have served as two meals with how much was given to us. Just went out on limb and told the wife let's go and try it. We went in and just two tables with guest. That gave us a little worried feeling. We ordered the Choriqueso appetizer with chips. That was very tasty and the burnt cheese at the bottom smacked. We decided to share the main meal as I wasn't too hungry. We didn't fajitas with a mixture of Chicken and Beef. The birria tacos were great with the cheese melted in and the consommé for dipping which had a spicy kick to it. The fajitas were just ok, the beef was thin and dry and I was a little dissappointed with the corn shells instead of the flour ones. From the outside, you would never guess what is happening in that kitchen, but the food tells a completely different story. I started with the molletes de mole, which I had never tried before. These little guys were packed with flavor, warm, rich, and surprisingly addictive. A perfect way to kick things off if you want something truly authentic. For the main dish, I ordered a vegetarian burrito with a side of beans and rice. Generous portions, well seasoned, and enough left over to take back to the hotel for later. No complaints there. I did takeout since the dining area is simple and straightforward. From what I saw, takeout seems to be the main flow of business, and it makes sense because the food is definitely the highlight. Overall, this is a solid three and a half star spot. The atmosphere is basic, but when it comes to flavor and authenticity, Panchos delivers. I stopped by here after attending the Artisan Fair at Memorial Park so I had already eaten an enormous Colombian hot dog at the Urban Dogs food truck with nearly ten toppings! Suffice it to say, I was just looking for a little dessert and headed to Main Street and decided to stop in at Pancho's Mexican Grill. I was treated to the largest serving of Flan I have ever received in my life. The waiter even asked if I needed a second spoon to split it! I did not and was able to eat it all by myself. we ordered takeout from this place- when coming to pick up the food, as other reviewers have pointed out, this place is very unassuming. i've actually driven past it several times before and never noticed it. however, i'm really glad we chose this place for dinner tonight because the food was really delicious and spoke for itself! we got the nachos with carne asada, tacos with carne asada and suadero, and the bistec encebollado. SUPER delicious, my dad said this place has maybe the best mexican food in the area. the steak was so tender and flavorful, bistec encebollado is one of my favorite dishes and this place really satisfied my craving. also side note, the rice was really delicious too haha, i finished it in its entirety. will def be ordering takeout from this place again! read more

The customer service was horrible. They completely mislead us on the appetizer we ordered saying it was corn but when it came it was clearly bread so I couldn't eat it. They didn't not care at all and just said oh. They also charged me $1.04 for lemon in my water which I've never in my entire life at any restaurant ever have ever heard of. For a Mexican place I've also never heard of chips and salsa being so much extra but whatever especially at a hole in the wall place. This is my second visit and the food didn't disappoint. The service isn't great but they try. It's one waiter for the whole place so I wouldn't come here if you're punching a clock. It's a no frills spot. The food though! We enjoyed it and my friend is Mexican and approves. They give you 4 sopes in the order and were kind enough to give us 2 Mexican chorizo and 2 carne Asada. They were so good. I prefer the carne Asada but that's bc I think chorizo is an acquired taste. The carne Asada was delicious. My friend loved both. She loves chorizo and said the flavor was on point. We enjoyed the tacquitos but I'd stick with the sopes. I've had their birria before and loved it. We had hibiscus aqua fresca and it was huge and excellent. The flan was huge also. I really enjoyed it. My friend liked it but felt the caramel was a bit dark for her taste. A very unassuming place on Main Street where I went with limited expectations on a Friday lunch with friends but was utterly surprised. The place was pretty much empty and just had one person serving the tables, however food came out pretty fast. We ordered the nachos with salsa and nachos with guacamole, the salsa was a salsa verde and had a kick to it , guacamole was very fresh, the tamarind drink is our usual at any Mexican place so glad they had it. The birria tacos ($16) were so delicious! I love how authentically simple the taco fillings are (beef, onions, cilantro, salsa verde, and lime) yet how well it packs a punch of flavor! I also got a large horchata to drink (regular size is $4, large is $5), but I definitely could've stuck with the regular size lol it was ginormous! But very good. TLDR: the takeout traveled well and had some of the best Mexican flavors in the area We got some food for takeout - there was a great variety of bright, spicy sauces, nutty mole, and tender savory meats. Every dish we got was well balanced in flavor and delicious. The standout for me was the tacos dorados: stuffed tortillas that were rolled and deep fried. We are the dish maybe 20-30 mins after picking it up, and despite sitting under a mound of tomato and lettuce, it remained crispy. Just take my word for it. The chicken taquitos were amazing. The beef tostadas were just perfect. The only thing: lunch time is peak time. If you're planning to come in come after 2pm. We arrived around 1145ish and this place got busy after 12pm. About 8 tables and one waitress. She was a doll. Honestly she kept it very together but it does get busy so you'll prob have to wait a little bit if you need additional plates, additional utensils or more sauce. So far I've had their tacos, chicken mole, guacamole, burritos and my absolute favorite - spicy refried bean dip. My favorite meats are the spicy pork and steak.
