It's loaded with tender chicken and shrimp, all covered in an incredible tomato sauce that is absolutely delicious. The service is always friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. She didn't check on us throughout our meal, and only refilled my water once when she brought our food out. When we were done, we didn't know if they'd bring a bill to us or if we were suppose to go to the front desk, as she never said anything to us. Every single staff in the restaurant was on their personal phones, leaving the restaurant to take personal calls, and fraternizing more than working. We also witnessed several food safety violations including our waitress sticking her hands in her pants in the back to tuck her shirt, and another waitress playing with her hair excessively, all without washing their hands before interacting with customers again. While good food, I don't know that I'll go back given the experience we had with the staff. I really question cleanliness when behaviors like that are happening in front of customers.

For lunch I started with a small queso to go along with the chips and salsa. Chips and queso were standard, and salsa had a bit of a kick to it. As I do most times at Mexican spots, I went with the tried and true chicken, cheese and rice, also known as the Mexicali Pollo here. It was sided with tortillas and I went with flour. The chicken was cut and cooked well and presented on a bed of rice then smothered in queso. The dish was okay. The chicken was under-seasoned, so the dish as a whole was a bit underwhelming. The menu is smaller than most Tex-Mex spots, but still offers a variety of house dishes along with the classics.
