We came here on 4.22.24 after a long 12-mile hike ready to throw down. Our server was quick and friendly in taking care of us. Chips and salsa have to be ordered and you are charged for them - but trust me when I say you get ALOT of salsa and chips - and both are house made and delicious. There is also a very well-stocked salsa bar here with a diverse selection of salsas, taco toppings, and pickled jalapeños. You have got to try the jalapeños that taste like they were marinated in soy sauce. I had the cheese enchiladas dinner - I ordered them Xmas style with half and half red and green salsas. My very tired hiking partner restored her energy with a delicious dinner entree of flautas. We each really loved our meals and not just because we were operating on starvation mode! My enchiladas were stuffed full of Mexican cheese and were well covered with tasty red and green salsas. The refried beans were SO good and the rice tasted even better with a nice dose of pico de gallo. Pay cash if you want to avoid a CC fee. Excellent flavors. I had the asado de puerco as a burrito. My friends had the carne asada, frijoles y queso, and Al pastor. ¡Muy magnífico!

Visited this new restaurant and were greeted by the co owner Mariscela. I ordered the barbacoa torta with all the fixings and was not disappointed. It was amazing! Mariscela then offered to give a taste test of their menudo. I have never said this about anyone else's menudo but it tasted like my late dad's menudo...it was so delish! The food is just ok... I order Al pastor tacos and asked if it had pineapple and was told yes! We got home and there is no pineapple in our to go. As well as no salsa for any of the food in the bag already. How does tacos not come with any salsa or something already in the bag. Horrible service. We were the only white people in there, and 3 tables who came in after us got served before us. Then, they brought 2 of the 3 kids' food, while the 3rd kid had to sit and wait another 10 min. for his food. My husband got his food about 10 min. after our friend and I did. My husband took a bite of his baked potato and it wasn't even fully-cooked (still hard) and the meat in it was cold. The manager argued with my husband about giving him a refund on the baked potato, saying it was just fine. We will never be back here again. read more
