This place is not good for the price! Go to Anna's Taqueria, Acapulcos Mexican Restaurant, or El Mexsal Authentic Latin Food before you go here! The burritos are good but you have to pay extra for EVERYTHING! They put cheese on the tortilla but to sprinkle on shredded cheese cost extra! And the little bit they put on is NOT WORTH IT! Sour cream .65 cents (a drizzle!!!!) DRIZZLE!!!! Less drizzle than what comes in a toaster strudel icing pack. Cheese .65 Guacamole 1.05 (and it is a drop) GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Great Place! Been driving by for a while, decided to try Panchos. The place is spotless, the food is fresh and the service was friendly. I got two fish tacos and they were stuffed full and delicious, fresh salsa and guac on top and the tortillas don't rip wide open upon picking up. My Fiancé got the carnitas, same review, very good. To the girl that said chips and salsa are extra? Come on! This is a small taqueria, they are quick and fresh and it's worth it. And to top it off they have fresh beer on tap and Margaritas. To provide a little back story, I lived in Mexico for a few years about 10 years ago. Every since moving back to the United States, I have found it difficult to find real Mexican food in Massachusetts. Texas and California are filled with great taco places, but Massachusetts not so much. That was until.... I found Pancho's!!!! Pancho's is a relatively new find for me -- I've only been here about three times. However, this is one of my favorite restaurants in the Boston area. I've had almost all of the different tacos (carnitas, barbacoa, al pastor, carne asada, vegetariana, pollo, shrimp), the tostada, guacamole (which is to die with it's chopped up tomatoes, onions, and the hint of lime) and chips, and elote (my favorite street food from Mexico). If you are looking for the most authentic Mexican food without actually paying for a flight there, this is the place to go. While they do serve burritos (a Tex-Mex delight rather than a true Mexican dish), this is not the place for people who are looking for hard-shell tacos filled with hamburger meat and cheese. No, this is the place for people looking for freshly-heated corn tortillas filled with delicious meat, cilantro, onion, pico de gallo, and some guac if you want! The atmosphere is like an authentic version of Chipotle. You order your food at the counter and tell them what you want in your food as you move along the line. You can take it to go or you can sit at some of their lovely tile tables. Pro tip: Get the house margarita! It's only $4 and absolutely delicous! Buen provecho! read more

Amazing food - Full bar! We came here for the first time, and decided immediately that it's our new "spot" for Mexican food! The food is DELICIOUS, especially the barbacoa and steak carne asada! Came here because of the reviews. Sorry, but in my opinion it was not very good. Both myself and my wife did not like the flavors. Not sure if we just got unlucky/if this was a one off, or if it was just the end of the day and things had been sitting for a while. Half of the containers had a "glaze/crust" that forms on top of sauces when they sit without being used for some time. The guac and sour cream tasted watered down and "soapy". The fish was very disappointing. If I had to compare this, it was somewhere around Annas or potentially a step above. Quite a bit less than Felipe's (which personally I am also not a huge fan of). I would not recommend this. Imo, go to a place like Tenoch, which seems significantly better/tastier. read more

Went and got a burrito tonight food was ok but as I was eating the burrito I discovered a sharp piece of plastic that could have been easily infested I found it and threw it out with the rest of my food I'm conferencing hopefully I didn't ingest anything else that can be harmful not returning for sure Hi Carlos It was a Togo order at about 715pm carnitas burrito it was for sure a sharp piece of white plastic and was discovered at home. Why, just why! If you are going to say your a mexican restaurant at least play the damn music! And if you say chorizo it better be sausage!. I got a ground beef today that had the same seasoning as taco bell. And it wasn't even the right animal. My husband orderd the barbacoa which was beef but same flavor as my food, and had chunks of bayleaf in it. The plate he ordered only came with 2 tortillas, which were raw.(The tortillas they use are pre cooked, *Carlos the owner contacted me to tell me this!) However since I am editing my review to make what I was saying more clear. I can tell you that I use a comal in my own home to heat up the tortillas and they are suppose to puff up just alittle. Also I know what sausage is, and there are several different kinds, such as pork venison, beef,chicken, Turkey, ect.. What I am saying is perhaps you stretch your "chorizo" out with ground beef. I was more upset at the fact that even the black beans had no flavor.*use some salt. Honestly save your money and go to taco bell, at least you know what your getting. I understand you don't like negative reviews but you should, fix the problems and get more customers. I wanted to like your restraunt so very much, it was clean and nice inside. As someone who grew up in a Mexican household, Pancho's is an incredible addition to the few traditional Mexican restaurants we have in the area. Their tacos are served street style in doubled corn tortillas, with all the favorite fillings. It's a taste of home. I highly recommend the carnitas (with some lime)! read more

Ordered tacos Al Pastor. Assumed the al pastor rack was in the back. Nope, just pre chopped meat. Meat tasted over seasoned and dry. We ordered delivery twice and both times they messed up the order and forgot items. We're only 4 people, no giant party. Called but they said they had to talk to their boss. No call back or response. They up charge for items then don't include them like cheese, extra protein, sour cream, guacamole. They include rice that wasn't ordered and forget the tortillas with the Mexican plates. And miss sides entirely. Not sure why they're so disorganized - it was an online order, so should be easier to get right than calling in over the phone. read more

Lousy customer service! I had to wait almost 10 minutes to pick up my take out order that was ready and waiting for me while the guy at the register chatted up the female customer in front of me. While I'm waiting, another customer comes in to the counter places an order, and the second employee, makes his burrito and puts it on the counter next to the register. When the register guy FINALLY finished chatting up his customer, I had my card ready and began to swipe to pay for my order. I was waved away so he could ring up the burrito customer that came in after me. I was incredulous and asked if they were the managers. The two gestured to each other and kid of smirked. When I explained what they did and how it was unacceptable, all I got was a half hearted "sorry". I did get a call from the owner who was very apologetic immediately after I posted this review. He was actually on the premises when I asked to see the manager, but the two behind the counter led me to believe that they (two brothers ?) behind the counter were in charge. His staff needs some basic customer service training to avoid reviews like this. If a customer asks to see the manager, staff should get the manager to address the situation before it gets to Yelp. I really wanted Pancho's to be my go-to mexican takeout place. The food is OK, (not as good as Chilacates in JP) but this experience sure tainted my taste buds. It's more convenient and a little less expensive than Chilacates, which seems 10x busier than Panchos' but has a friendly, efficient staff. Plus the Chicken Tinga is awesome. Oh, check your takeout order before leaving. My first and only other time here my Mexican Plate orders were missing the corn tortillas that should have been there. They were included in today's order, but maybe because I did mention they were missing the last time when I ordered today. If you're craving Mexican food and you're in the area, don't waste your time at Chipotle at the Dedham mall, or whatever is at Legacy Place, head to Panchos and you will leave much more satisfied with the food, the authenticity, and the fact that you have supported a local small business. I resisted going to Panchos for months despite living literally a stone's throw away. Boy am I sorry, and now glad that it's a reliable staple when I don't have time to cook for myself, or just when I want some Mexican. I like to tell people that the tacos are stuffed, and messy. In the best possible way of course. The service is always fast & friendly, they always have sports playing (especially futbol games). First I ordered a salad that is supposed to have chicken and guacamole and it didn't come with either. The salad was sad without those two things. The burrito I ordered was missing guacamole and sour cream and was basically all rice and beans and meat. The elotes were dry and were missing many of the ingredients they said they had as toppings.
