Ordered some take out from here today for a late lunch. I got the combo B, with rice and chow Mein with orange chicken and mushroom chicken. The orange chicken was okay, it was supposed to be spicy, but it was not spicy at all. The mushroom chicken was really good, reminded me of Panda Express mushroom chicken! The chow Mein was decent but I really liked the rice, it also reminded me of Panda Express fried rice. I also got some chicken egg rolls! Those were very good! My family got a side of the bbq pork, which in my opinion was really good! I will definitely eat here again but probably try more of the other meat choices instead.

Combination plate, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, chow mein, and rice. My son had all chow mein.

Parking and food are pretty good there's a court I'll just right out of the restaurant but you can sit down and just watch the cars pass by the food was OK. I think the panda express on first Street is much better taste to it. I don't know why I will give this place another chance and will give a follow up review.

Only the orange chicken was edible. The chow mein tasted like burned grease, and I think the beef was days old. Stay away!

This place is pretty good! Cheaper than Panda Express, and they really load the food onto your tray. Would recommend.

Not as good as Panda Express - but if you get a special order, it's a little better. Good egg rolls though.

I love this place. You get so much food you have dinner and then left overs for at least 2 more meals. And it's so good.

Their voicemail message continues to say "temporarily closed." So I started searching closer to home, which is a challenge because I don't usually view any Simi Valley restaurant as being worthy of our patronage... yet, I searched anyway. I found Bao Su on Yelp, so we decided to give them a try based on other Yelper reviews. Bottom line is that my husband and I were incredibly impressed with their food, not to mention, happy that it is so much closer. We ordered the following (takeout): Shrimp Fried Rice Shrimp with Lobster Sauce Szechuan Style Eggplant Sizzling Chicken Mongolian Beef I had a bit of a problem deciphering their menu because there weren't a lot of details as to ingredients, so I took chances and prayed they were dishes we've had before. Everything was delicious, plentiful and mostly recognizable... with the exception of the shrimp with lobster sauce. That was more soup-like and watered down from what we're used to, but it was still really good. All dishes were loaded with protein and vegetables, well seasoned and sauced, and textures were soft or crunchy, just as we knew them to be... and just as we loved them. We've since ordered from them again, and they were (very happily) consistently delicious. We are sooooooo happy to now have a LOCAL Chinese restaurant that we can trust and enjoy. We may even dine there and not do the takeout thing for a change. (I really would like to ask them what some of their other dishes are on the menu cuz I would like more options, truth be told. However, if the dishes above are the only ones I would ever choose to order, I'm fine with that, too.)

Stopped by for lunch and was really happy with everything we ordered. The shrimp dumplings were…read morefresh, the seafood tasted great, and nothing felt greasy. Service was friendly, and I'd definitely come back with family.

I of course enjoy the authentic sechuan flavor being Chinese myself. The restaurant is kept tidy and clean, if you want a dine in experience I recommend you to make a booking, walk-in is very welcome but keep note that sometimes it gets really crowded. They have frozen handmade dumplings for sale too if that's something you want to look into.

Was surprised to find such an authentic spot for Chinese in Oak Park!…read more I came by for a Mother's Day lunch with my family. When we arrived around 1 pm, the restaurant was maybe half full. But clearly it was popular as people were coming in constantly the entire time we were eating. Even though the restaurant is called Yunnan Restaurant, most of the dishes on the menu were more like Sichuan dishes i.e. spicy. All of the food was super solid and portions were ginormous. My recommendation is to order 1 dish per person if you want leftovers, or order one less dish than the # of people if you want to finish most of the food. I don't handle spice very well, so we ordered a mix of spicy and non-spicy dishes. We shared the following: #1 Yunan rice noodles ($16.99) #32 scallion pancake ($8.99) #104 Chong qing fried chicken ($16.99) #107 braised pork belly with buns ($19.99) #109 boiled two items - fish and duck blood ($21.99) Given that the restaurant is called Yunnan Restaurant, we felt like we had to order one of the most popular dishes from that region, the Yunan rice noodles i.e. crossing the bridge noodles. I really enjoyed the silky smooth mixian noodles as well as the flavorful broth. The fried chicken was too spicy for me; I ate one piece and my whole mouth was on fire. Everyone else said it was quite spicy as well, so eat this in moderation unless you can really handle your spice. The 3 pepper signs next to this dish on the menu are no joke! The braised pork belly was delicious, but portions were on the smaller side for this one. Still, I enjoyed making a little bun sandwich with the pork belly and pickled veggies. The boiled fish and duck blood was also super solid. It was just a little spicy, so I was able to manage a couple pieces with the help of rice on the side. Portions were very generous for this dish. We all ate lots of fish and duck blood and still had a ton left to take home. They also have some precooked 涼菜, i.e. cold dishes, on the side you can buy for dine-in or to go. We got 3 of the meats - pork tongue, pork head, and and beef tripe, to go. Paid $16.99 for a huge box of these meats. We thought this was a steal too. Can't wait to try some at home!

I'm not from the area but visit a good amount. This was our first time coming here. We ordered crispy walnut shrimp, kung pao chicken, mapo tofu, edamame, dumplings & hot and sour soup & egg flower soup. They have great deals for their lunch specials. Around $12 for the main dish, rice, egg rolls, & soup. The edamame, dumplings (actually now that I think about it we ordered dumplings but I think we got potstickers but not their fault since the child that placed the order basically whispered it), & egg flower soup was kid approved. The mapo tofu is marked as spicy. When I placed the order she wanted to make sure that I knew this, which I appreciated. The dish had a good amount of spice. A bit of a kick but still enjoyable. I think it was a pretty big serving so I was able to take half of it home, which I ate for dinner. I can't speak for the other dishes, but those that ordered it said it was good. I have been going to Szechuwan Garden for over 20 years. Their food quality goes up and down and we've stopped going a couple times but tonight was the last time I will go there. A $140 meal for four was essentially water. Watery sauces, watery mustard and the biggest, grossest issue was watery sweet and sour sauce. I've never once considered posting a video to Yelp, but when you see the sauce you will see why. Sweet and sour sauce is supposed to be thick and warm. This was essentially cold, red, water. It flow right off the fried chicken and pools in the bowl. We usually order extra so we have it for lunch the next day. Not this time. If any one has suggestions for good Chinese food near Simi I'm all ears because this was revolting.
