Excuse the rough to-go pic but the food here is great. I got their pad see ew but another absolute favorite is their curry noodles. Inside is a cute small shop, total hole in the wall, but I mostly find myself getting their food for home. Very friendly people and their timing is pretty quick.

Pad see ew with tri tip lunch special

We ordered two lunch specials to be picked up and were pleasantly surprised that they also included the soup! It was ready when we arrived. Love the salad dressing and the lettuce was fresh. I had the pad see ew with trip tip and my son had the chicken pad Thai. The meat was tender, they use Chinese broccoli, that I love and the noodles were flavored nicely! Completely filling and had left overs for dinner!

New favorite here is the pork jerky! My kids think it tastes like fried chicken! I love the tangy aromatic sauce it comes with. Definitely very south East Asian in flavors. The Kai Kia reminds me of Malaysian char keow teow. I've been here regularly for months now. Usually order online to pickup. Sometimes fine in. Service is prompt and efficient.

My husband goes here all the time . I'm shy on Thai food due to my garlic sensitivity but there are a few dishes i like like shrimp pad tai, chicken skewers, the hot thai chili sauce and tonight he brought home the BEST CRAB RANGOON i've ever had . They certainly know how to do the filling right here or they use really good quality ingredients . Also , no oily taste . They keep their cooking oil fresh and that is the first thing i noticed when i bit into it . All I could taste was hot creamy cheese and crab . Amazing ! Looking forward to coming in and trying some more dishes ! Looks like most of simi agrees since they are the highest rated in town

I got the panang curry with chicken and it was delicious! Super authentic food here. I showed up when it wasn't busy, so the service was quick and attentive. Owner is very kind. It's a small little place but the vibe is cozy and feels homey.

I have been to Simi Thai Cuisine, in Simi Valley, more than once before. The strongest memory I have always had of the place is their Curry Noodles. A dish that came in a large bowl, with a rich coconut broth, ample noodles, chicken, toppings and intense flavor. So this time too, it was the first item to order. However, I was surprised at how the overall bowl had shrunk in size :). That may have been okay if the other ingredients were proportionately distributed. Instead, more chicken, toppings and less noodles and broth. The richness in the base still prevailed, albeit, with a paler color. For our second, we opted for the Pad Prik King with beef. This dish was dynamite. The beef pieces were large but tender (I had to ask for a knife), the flavor had many layers of satisfaction and the optimum spice level. The beans were perfectly cooked al dente style, with the vibrant green color still intact. A little more sauce would have topped the dish. This restaurant has a small dining space, so remember to make reservations. The service was prompt, attentive, friendly and high class.

The kitchen, is kind of open, but you cannot see it, just off the seating tables. Still, the aroma from the cooking does not smoke out the area. There is one chef, also the one taking the orders. At least this is true, during the weekend lunch hours. I visit for the carry out lunch specials, this time, their Penang Curry with beef. Once again, the meat was deliciously tender, not a chewy piece in the mix. The curry had the right viscosity, not overdone creaminess, smooth and silky texture, infused with a simple yet impressive marriage of heat and spices. Service here, like the food, has been consistent, dependable and impressive.

Tonight we had the Beef Salad, Red Curry with Pumpkin - Chicken, the Mongolian Thai Style - Pork, and Thai Iced Tea. The Beef Salad is amazing. The beef is plentiful and the dressing is perfect. The salad is a perfect start to a hot day's evening meal or for a complete lunch as the salad is plenty for two as a starter. The Red Curry with Pumpkin - Chicken is a nice offering. The pumpkin really makes the dish which has a very mild spice to it. The bowl is big enough for two to share. The Mongolian Thai Style - Pork was nicely prepared, but for me, the white onions were a bit over powering for my taste today. I do believe the dish was prepared per the menu and I thought I'd give it a try, but this one is just not for me. The Thai Ice Tea is perfect and not overly sweet like found at many Thai places. Service was Outstanding from walking in the door until walking out after our meal. It is really rare to find such attentative service these days, so the owners must be proud of their team. Prices are very reasonable for the food quality, portions, and perfect service.

It looked like some kind of chicken fried rice with no pineapple. Ok fine it happens. My wife called the restaurant to let them know about the mistake and then drove back to get it corrected. When she got there, the woman behind the counter grabbed a menu, pointed to the pineapple fried rice, and asked her if that was what she had ordered. The way she handled it came across as condescending, almost like my wife didn't know what she had ordered. She then told my wife to take a seat. What bothered us even more was that it appeared they may have simply taken the rice my wife returned, added some pineapple to it, tossed it around in the pan, and handed it back to her instead of making a fresh order. Obviously, we can't say for certain that's what happened, but that's exactly how it looked and tasted because we've had the Pineapple Fried Rice before. Mistakes happen, and I normally wouldn't leave a bad review over simply receiving the wrong order. The problem was how the mistake was handled. Between the incorrect food, the unnecessary attitude, having to drive back, and the overall poor customer service, this ended up wasting about an hour of our time. After this experience, my wife and I will not be returning to Chada Thai.
