I've driven past this place all the time, but never stopped. I came in today, because they were doing a fundraiser for autism. Which I thought was nice. The donuts looked great, and I like the reviews, but this time I came for the Chinese food.. The space is very clean, and the lady who runs the place was very, very friendly and helpful. All of the food looked good. They have both fried and non-fried options. I went for the two item combo, and instead of fried rice and chow mein, I had steamed rice. I ordered the non-spicy curry chicken, and the chicken with carrots and broccoli. Overall, the food was good. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and in both dishes, the veggies were perfectly al dente. The rice was also the perfect texture. On the curry chicken, I don't know if there was a misunderstanding on either of our end, because I did get a spicier chicken dish. it was well within what I'm comfortable with spicy, and the flavor was very good. It just wasn't what I was expecting. But hey, it happens. While food was very good, it was just a tiny bit oily. I could feel a tiny bit of the oil on my lips. Again, I do realize that that's how they cook the food in the wok. For a very large plate of food, I only paid 12 bucks. Extremely reasonable. I would definitely come back to try the donuts next time, and maybe some of the other dishes. Thank you.

Service is HAPPY and sweet! Very nice people! When you purchase a special order she always throws in a special extra treat.

These doughnuts are ginormous and worth all the moneyzzzzz!

The nice lady who runs the doughnut shop is very amiable and attentive. The doughnuts are absolute FIRE! Buy all of them! But the boba green tea slush reminded me of the older Y2K Mom and Pop donut shops back in the Bay Area; very nostalgic. The shop owner cooks the boba and sweetens the tapioca just right and they have a good consistency in terms of texture. These donuts truly brightened mine and my husband's day!

Happy Donuts is my friendly and reliable source for donuts and boba tea in Eureka! Boba tea is hard to come by in Humboldt County in general, so I'm always ecstatic to find a place that sells it. Plus, Happy Donuts has a drive-thru, which makes boba and coffee runs super convenient! I've never received anything but great customer service here, and the staff is always smiling. Many locals and students love this place, and I can definitely see why. Who wouldn't want a delicious drink and snack served by someone exuding genuine kindness? I know I would. Make your WinCo runs complete by stopping by Happy Donuts for a treat. If I lived a little closer I know that I would probably stop by several times a week. Check out their Facebook for updates on new items, specials, or to just explore the menu!

The prices are pretty outrageous. I ordered a teeny little breakfast burrito, apple fritter, and 2 sugar donuts and it ran me abt $16!!! Never have I ever, and never will I ever again, spend $6 on a single donut smh. And $7 for a itty bitty microwaved breakfast burrito is just wild. Not too much bigger than the ketchup packet they included with it. At least the sugar donuts were reasonably priced.

This is a small donut shop but busy. Donuts are the king here. Bigass apple fritters that are as big as a dinner plate, and just plane awesomeness. Only donut shop around with curlers daily. It's easy to build a box of several different delicious fried flour combinations, my recent visit and $18 bucks later for a big box full. Baking fresh daily and throughout the day, especially for the apple fritters - they go quickly. Also does express style Chinese food to go. Haven't tried it yet, but it all looked great and if it's as good as the donut side of the shop should be pretty good. Plan to grab some the next time I'm in the neighborhood. Friendly staff and service, very accommodating and it's easy to spend more than you planned if you're not careful! Well worth a visit and stop. Will update this review after my next visit for a meal. 3.5 Stars - rounded up for the great apple fritters. 00491

Parking is street parking only, so it can get tricky during busier times. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a very large food menu, and they also have bagels, pastries, coffee, espresso drinks, , smoothies, beer, and wine. I was in at lunchtime, so I decided to get an "everything bagel" with their sun-dried tomatoes spread. I asked for light spread, and that's what I got. The bagel was amazing! Very tender. I could smell the garlic on the bagel and taste it as well. It was excellent. The spread was both savory and rich, but not overly rich. I loved it. I also had a white mocha. It was a good quality, coffee, and the drink was rich and sweet, but not overly so. I was talking with my sister later, and she told me that their sandwiches and salads are also very good. I decided to come back for dinner. I had the salami, baguette, and one of their lemon squares for dinner. The Salami Baguette had Salami, Jack Cheese, Spinach, Tomatoes, Dijon, and Pesto (Basil, Olive Oil, Garlic, Walnuts, Parmesan, and Salt) That sandwich was amazing! Baguette was soft and delicious, they were generous with the salami, and it had the right amount of cheese. The veggies give it a nice "pop" of freshness, the pesto was rich, but not overly so, and the Dijon and just a tiny bit of a "zip" to it. All of the ingredients played together very well. The lemon square, the crust was flaky, the lemon was creamy, but not overly sweet, and it had just the right amount of powdered sugar on the top. Everything I had there today was fantastic. The prices were reasonable. I will definitely be back to try more items. My only regret is waiting so long before I finally came in. Thanks!

I pulled up, and the lady comes out to talk to me, she asked me if I had been there before and I said I didn't. She said take a look at the menu, and I will come back to you. It turns out she was going back-and-forth between being the cashier, and taking orders. If they had a box, it wasn't working. I decided to go with the pulled pork sandwich on a baguette, I chose all of the veggies, with no cheese or avocado, which was extra price. I requested the barbecue sauce, which was the non-spicy version. The sandwich was excellent. The baguette was a very high-quality roll, the pulled pork was savory, and all of the veggies were nice and crisp. The barbecue sauce tasted like it was a vinegar based, and it had a great "Tang" to it. It provided a nice pop of acid to offset the richness of the pulled pork. I could only finish half of my sandwich, and I had the other half for dinner. The sandwich came out to $14 and change after tax, , which was reasonable for such a good sandwich. The reason I'm taking off a star, is because of the wait time. The wait time from when I pulled up till when I pulled out with my sandwich was roughly 15 minutes. That's quite a wait for a sandwich. You can order ahead online, but you still have to wait in the line to pick up your food. They do delivery, but they only do one delivery run a day at 11 AM, and so you have to get your order in on time. They shouldn't have the person running back-and-forth between being cashier, and taking orders as well. Maybe have another person taking orders. Hopefully the next time I come back, the wait won't be so long. I wish these guys would get a "brick-and-mortar." They would do very well. Thank you!
