Mediocrity at its best. The chicken broccoli lunch which includes nothing else was mostly rice. The broccoli wasn't fresh and the chicken was spongy. The eggrolls tasted like stale fryer oil and the H&S soup was ok at best. This is likely a one and done for us, didn't enjoy our lunch at all. read more

I believe Panda Chinese is a "chain". This one is in Syosset and off to the north side in a small shopping center. It was just, ok. I did like the Chicken and bok- choy in garlic sauce. But I would have like it better if they closed it securely as the bag though double wrapped in paper and plastic had spills. I do like having boneless spareribs and while I do prefer them on the well done side, burnt and not really edible wasn't shall we say, ideal either. The fried rice was mediocre ok and they did add a container of white rice. Two request got 2 chopsticks. Um, not a place I expect to be going back to any time soon. read more

Bad environment poor hygiene When I ordered at the front desk a cockroach crawled under my feet. In the food I ordered, the chicken is not fresh, and the pork in the fried rice tastes strange, which is not recommended. read more

Food always fresh, you can also request any tweaks to the dish- so Panda is reliable and solid with portions, taste, and great value for the price. We tried more expensive Asian food and realized Panda is always the goto when you want fresh decent Chinese American food without the gourmet price. Was really in the mood for some vegetable chow mein. Checked a few of the Chinese restaurants in the general area and the first 2 did not have. I called Panda which I had never been to before and figured I would give them a shot. I called order in and was very simple and quick. I ordered a quart of vegetable chow mien with water chestnuts and baby corns. I drove over and picked up the food myself. Panda is a small take out Chinese take out place. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the place was pretty clean looking. Unfortunately the food was just on the ok side and that is being nice. I ordered a quart and i would say at least one third was celery and onions. I would not go back again unless every other Chinese place was closed. read more

I have eaten at the higher end, futuristic, by the huge gym, Woodbury, close to the train establishments but Panda is my goto for Chinese in Syosset now. We've picked up from here plenty of times. Super convenient location to the person I talk about in just about every review I have written on here. It's your average Chinese food. Not the most amazing take-out, not the worst take-out, your average Chinese place. I've tried a few chicken dishes from here. Prices are super reasonable, the staff is super nice and friendly and it's clean inside. The best thing about this place is their chicken and rice soup. I love it. A quart for $4.00, you can't beat it. They load it with veggies (bean sprouts, snap peas, carrots) and rice and yummy broth. I've never seen another Chinese place put veggies in the chicken rice soup, and I approve. Souper cheap, souper filling, and just souper for those colder nights that are upon us. Food was good. Had chicken and broccoli and requested for less sodium and less oil, they complied. Lots of food. Will save the remainder for dinner. Chicken wings were plenty and very tasty. Since being sold a couple of months back the only thing going up here is the prices. The food has gotten worse each time over the past 2-3 months. Last night was the worst egg drop wonton soup was colored water. Cheese wontons were like store bought frozen something. Egg foo young was a glob of grease and chicken mai fun had no chicken and no taste. I can't wait until the new MOGU on Jericho opens. read more

Panda is open again! Finally a break from lockdown cooking for me. This is our go-to Chinese take out place. They make really good classic takeout dishes. You can't go wrong with their rice dishes- chicken and broccoli, kung pao chicken, General Tso's, etc. Their house special lo mein, mei fun, and hot & sour soup are also good. Food is okay. Delivery is not predictable. Attitude is unacceptable. After buying food from them several times a week for many months, the food took over an hour. When we asked why, I was presented with a bunch of excuses on how busy they were. I understand that they're busy, ramp up to accommodate or refuse business. We just ordered from Panda for the first time and the food was really good and the price was fair My husband and I feel they use the perfect amount of sauce on their food which maKes all the difference in Chinese food. I worship at the altar of Hot and Sour, have tried it at every Chinese restaurant I've been too, and for a hole in the wall Chinese joint, their's is stellar. Panda is a great lunch option whenever I can't decide where to go. It is very fast, very cheap, and it tastes very good. A lunch special can range from $5 to $6.50 for an entree with rice. I have never had a bad experience for lunch. I would assume that dinner would be a similar review, but haven't tried it for dinner. read more

My favorite Chinese restaurant. I find my favorite dishes, general tao's to be good and spicy, and orange chicken flavorful. Other places in town either don't taste right or have sanitary problems. Panda is always clean and I feel like I can trust the quality much better. read more
