Order ready quickly. Lunch special with tasty egg roll and fried rice for good price. Large portion, too.

Best Chinese food in the area. The order is always correct. Sauces are not thin and watery like some restaurants.

New owners in the past few years. Its decent. I preferred the food before the change in ownership but I still go there once in a while.

I am a big fan of the pan fried wantons in garlic sauce (seriously, just get them), the boneless spare ribs, and pretty much anything else they cook there.

The dish was presented traditionally with the all the toppings. The duck sauce was also perfect. A beautiful dish that fulfilled the 3 categories of Chinese cooking: color, fragrance and taste. Our next favorite in presentation and taste is the pork belly with pumpkin. The presentation of the dish is eye popping. The pork belly is unmistakably cooked by a master chef. The texture is chewy (skin), soft (fat) and dense (meat). The sauce may look over the top, but it adds to the silkiness of the pieces. The "fat" is not greasy. It's puzzling how they rendered the grease. I grew up eating this dish and cook it too. This dish by far is the best I've had. Service is fantastic; helpful and attentive. This is our new favorite restaurant! Suggestion would be to eat at the restaurant for an incredible experience. Dishes came out is perfect order. It's been a while since we've experienced a classic Chinese restaurant.

The wonton soup was decent......wontons were very good but the broth however was a bit bland. Roast pork fried rice was pretty good.....a little dry and skimpy on the pork but the flavor was more than adequate. Hot and sour soup was really tasty with a good bit of spice. Scallion bubble pancake was very light and tasty. The Emperor cabbage appetizer was probably my favorite meal item.....crispy cabbage tossed in a peanuty garlic sauce with honey. It was served cold (which usually I'm not a big fan of, but this was an exception) and had a great flavor. Pork belly appetizer tasted very good but it wasn't crispy (which would have made it so much better) and the buns they were served with didn't taste completely fresh. Dan Dan noodles with ground beef was excellent.... they're served spicy and you can simply request the level of heat you prefer to fit your taste buds. Soup dumplings were of decent size and quite juicy...... unfortunately they lacked some flavor. Mongolian beef dish was excellent as was the kung pao chicken. Overall it was a pretty good meal but there was some room for improvement. The staff was very nice and it did have quite a cool "old school American Chinese restaurant" vibe from yesteryear.

What separates this takeout place on Broadway from the others in Nassau County, Long Island New York? A) A great warm vibe and a beautiful & simple decor that makes you pause and sit and enjoy the food . B) Really tasty, fresh and hot food. C) Lot of love from the owners. I was pleasantly surprised at the warmth and the care of the kind lady who greeted me, smiled and genuinely spent time with me asking about my likes and then ensured my fried tofu n broccoli with extra garlic sauce was perfect. She also checked up on me while I was eating and asked if I needed anything else. D) Her attention to detail with every takeout order was a 100 percent. Brown rice vs white rice, sauce or no sauce ...! E) We have a new winner for the best egg drop soup on Long Island. F) Great crunchy noodles. G) Easy free parking right in front of the restaurant. H) Big portions. I left smiling, full and actually singing on this cold February night less than 24 hours before my overseas flight.
