There is some great food from there! I always get rice with broccoli and garlic sauce and it's normally great!

*****This is an update (01/23/26) to my previous review. The food is very good. But the disappointment comes from a place we never expected it to. After being a Loyal customer, this is our story. I am not saying to not eat here. What I want people to know is of my experience, especially after dealing with these owners after all this time and never having an issue. To be treated so disrespectfully, we will not frequent this place again. We've been loyal customers of this Chinese eatery for close to 30 years, ordering four or five times a month. Sadly, we won't be back. While the food is good, the service has become unacceptable. Our last several deliveries arrived long after the promised window and were lukewarm or cold. When I placed my most recent order, I declined to leave a tip over the phone. Personal experience has taught me that tips are for service that meets or exceeds expectations, which hasn't happened lately. When the food arrived an hour later--far past the 40-minute quote--and cold again, the driver verbally confronted my husband. (This was after confronting me on the phone). The driver, who happens to be one of the owners, demanded to know why we didn't tip. He said it wasn't fair that he had to deliver the food for nothing. He ignored my husband's explanation and started yelling in our driveway. The situation escalated to the point where the driver began walking back toward our door to continue the argument. He only stopped and left because his phone rang. It's disappointing to be treated with such disrespect after decades of patronage. This business offers free delivery, yet the owner acts entitled to a tip regardless of his performance. Having worked in service myself, I know that if you don't receive a tip, you look at how to improve your work. You don't harass the customer. We've decided to take our business elsewhere. read more

Just some solid NY chinese food! Ordered for delivery over the phone, man who took my order was friendly and efficient and the food arrived fairly quickly! The crab rangoons were crispy with a creamy crabby filling, accompanied by sweet & sour sauce. The spring rolls were also fried to perfection, with a tasty filling of cabbage and carrot. Got takeout from New Wild Rice on a Monday night when my usual place was closed. Very happy with the prompt free delivery, excellent food, moderate pricing, and generous portions. I got steamed veggie dumplings, spare ribs, wonton soup and chicken with mixed veggies. The chicken dish was made with all white meat and contained lots of fresh veggies. Wonton soup had a yummy rich broth. My order didn't come with the usual bag of crispy noodles, not sure if that was an oversight but no biggie. Food is a hit or miss and depends on what you select. My family and I wanted to try this place out and see how their quality was. We ordered a variety of noodle dishes, curries, fried rice, and more. The pad see yu and drunken noodle were really delicious and I would happily recommend anything that has the wide flat rice noodles. The flavors are pretty good and the spice levels are where they need to be. The curries were well seasoned but it seemed to be mostly like a soup (loose watery consistency) with minimal pieces of food. Both noodle dishes and curries are extremely heavy in bell pepper as well. Anything that had chicken was good. Their beef on the other hand, lacked in any beef flavor whatsoever and was bland. Their pineapple chicken fried rice was interesting. It tasted mostly of coconut with a hint of pineapple. The texture of the rice was also quite mushy. I would not order it again though. The shrimp egg foo young (fried egg omelette) was decent and has a uniquely different peanut flavored gravy with it. The spare ribs are meaty and pretty good too. The chicken wings are ok but could be better in regards to flavor. Overall, if youre interested in getting takeout that has a variety of thai and chinese food options, try it out. You never know. Again, I would recommend their flat noodle dishes and anything that is spicy. Their non-spicy foods are sub par and bland. read more

Worst Chinese food I had in my life. I hate vegetable Lomein and it tasted like trash.

By far the best takeout Chinese I've had personally. They were very busy at the time but it only took them about 15 minutes to make my order of 2 meals. We had a 15 minute drive home with the food and it was still hot. We ordered the sesame chicken w rice and lo mein. The chicken was very flavorful, and the rice and lo mein were decent. We also got an order of the cheese wontons which were also very good. My main concern with takeout Chinese is that the food will be soggy and the meat will be chewy. This place did not have those problems, easy 5 star. read more

I ordered out 2 days ago. I got there early for puck up, and what I saw was disgusting. The guy making someone elses food, was working wighout gloves. He turned to prepair someones broccli, he filled a small bowl, using his bare hand. The same one that he wiped the counter down with the same bare hand.
