I ordered two pork egg rolls, house special chow mei fun, and shrimp lo mein. The egg rolls that I tried had no pork at all and was just like mush inside. I threw them away. The chow mei fun smelled weird and the noodles were pink and they usually are clear. There was questionable chicken and pork in it. It was just disgusting! I wasted $31 on dinner. The crunchy pieces served with egg drop soup were stale and my husband chicken and rice and the chicken and rice were both old. My husband and I have always loved the Panda but on 3/27/25 the meal was bourbon chicken and cheese wontons and it was the worst we've ever had. The chicken was hard and very dry and the wontons we're cooked so long that there was no cheese left in it. It was truly a waste of $35. Ordered food online and after eating most of the food I found a larvae of some sort in my rice. I called to give them a head's up and even specifically said I didn't want my money back because I ate most of the food prior to seeing it. Employee I spoke to laughed at me and said what I was calling about was a bean sprout. So I told her I'd bring it back up there for her to look at and did. She once again laughed and said I didn't know what I was talking about. I told her I didn't find it funny, and I didn't appreciate being laughed at. It is very clearly a worm/larvae of some sort, and they only agreed with me after I said I wasn't going to let them just trash it not do anything about it so that I'd take it with me. Then they said you're right, you're right. So sorry, it's a worm. The manager or owner kept saying "it's ok" but in fact it isn't. I have never been treated so poorly as a customer. I decided to go to the Panda Restaurant in Boiling Springs SC for lunch after church. It had been a very long time since I had been there but decided to try it again. Should have known better. The woman behind the counter is probably the rudest person I've ever met in my life. The whole experience was horrible and the food was not much better. A smile and a thank you goes a long way when I am spending my money in your place of business but Never again. I ordered a lunch special fried rice, chicken lo mein and an egg roll. You can't really mess up an egg roll but the fried rice was very dried out and hardly any chicken or any kind of vegetables in the lo mein. ​ When she handed me my order I almost dropped it in the floor again due to her rudeness because she turned to go back behind the counter before I had control of the bag. We used to like this restaurant until it changed hands a few years ago and the quality of the food went down hill. We decided to try it again tonight and it was awful. I haven't purchased any food from here in a few years. I got a craving for some, Spring Rolls. So... I called the place up because I live in the apartments that are down the road from the restaurant. I go pick up my food (not even five min after ordering). I get in my car and headed down the road and decide to try this spring roll. Well it wasn't hot as it should of been, if they just made it. Then I bit into it and it was cold. Like they dipped it in a fryer for a second to make the outside crunchy, but didn't let it warm all the way through. It was gross. Order my food online, already had to wait 45 minutes to pick it up. When I get there the lady is confused as to why my order isn't there and tells me someone picked it up already. Well no one in my family picked it up. She gave my order to someone else. Then has an attitude about me wanting it to be made and tells me it's going to be 20 minutes. This place resembles a bit of a dive from outside and on the inside it really is a dive but...lol The food was delicious and the pork fried rice was the best I've had in years. Really tasty with bean sprouts that were CRUNCHY which means FRESH and YUMMY! Only 4 stars because even though there are tables, it's too much of a dive to want to actually sit and eat. Perfect for a late night meal. I love this place because they have unique dishes as well as traditional. The dumplings are insane, the black pepper chicken is crunchy, a hint of spice and fresh tasting as is all of their food! Their tea is good too. My family and I love this place. Panda is the only Chinese restaurant that we go to in this area. The only issue that I have with them is the bean sprouts in their fried rice. I think next time I will ask for them to leave them out, but everything else that we have tried such as the beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken and even the curry shrimp was amazing.
