This is a tiny place with three tables. The ambiance is not great BUT everything i have eaten from there has been delicious. You can use their online ordering feature, call in your order, or order in the restaurant. They are always pretty quick. I have never waited more than 20 minutes. I always order the Pan Fried Wontons with Garlic Sauce. The wontons are so delicious and i love the Garlic Sauce too. I think it is made with ground pork but it might be a beef/pork mixture. These wontons are homemade...not the frozen kind. The steamed or fried dumplings are also great. They are also homemade. I have not ordered many of their entrees so i really cannot review them. So much to say about this shity place they deserve no stars. The place is overpriced I was charged 30 bucks for lo mein and dumplings crazy. I'm not sure if you guys see the young kid that works there never have him touch your food. I watched him dig in his nose and put it in his mouth fucking discussing . Made a call in order, last minute, and it was the best decision!! Service was incredible over the phone and the man who took my order was so sweet! Food was amazing even after the 15 minute drive!! My family and I have been eating Panda Garden since the day we moved to Spartanburg 4 years ago. I know a lot of people say that if you've eaten at one Chinese takeout restaurant, you've eaten at all of them, but my opinion is that when you find a good one, you stick with it because they are most definitely not all the same. We used to order delivery when we lived across the street from them. The food was always hot, and our order was always right. I'm a creature of habit and have always eaten sweet n sour chicken/pork, beef and broccoli, and lo mein, and they all taste great from here (believe me, I've had some stinkers). When ordering delivery, I always ask for the sweet n sour sauce on the side because I only like a little, and they have always gotten that right. When we moved to Inman about a year later, we could not find a Chinese delivery restaurant near us. There are a couple of places that we can pick up from, but they are downright awful. So whenever my daughter has a Girl Scout meeting (every other Sunday off of Camelot Drive), we stop at Panda Garden afterwards and order takeout for the family. We usually order enough for a few days, because the portions are huge for the price. I have to add that I adore John and his family. His girls went to school with my oldest daughter for a few years, so it is nice that she gets to see them whenever we are in the store waiting for our food. Incidentally, though we typically order when we get there, and we rarely have to wait very long for our order to be ready, and it is always fresh and hot even after I make the trek back home to Inman. Love this place and will continue to eat here every other week for as long as it is around. read more

The chicken here was disgusting. I gave 2 stars cause delivery was pretty quick but the food wasn't worth it. At first it looked good but as soon as I took a bite of that chicken I gagged. I do not recommend this place.. first of all, if you order online they give you a total amount you owe with taxes and delivery fee but when the driver comes they always end up giving you a new receipt with an extra 3 dollar charge. This has happened two times now. Last time it took them over two hours to deliver the foos. I called and the owner or manager lied to me and said the driver was on his way. He finally showed up over an hour later. I ordered tonight and they forgot to put the noodles I ordered in the bag. I called and the person I spoke to hung up on me. I called back and the owner or manager argues with me. He offered me credit for my next purchase because they didn't want to bring me my noodles I ordered and paid for already. He went as far as to say is it really that big of a deal over noodles? I told him I did not want credit because I paid for something and they need to bring it to me He told me I can drive there and return the food. This place is awful. He got the orange chicken, very different from orange chicken at other Chinese restaurants.. Rubbery chicken, I got the bourbon chicken, rubbery chicken. To be fair, the only good bourbon chicken I love is China star and the place in Haywood mall. But, that doesn't justify the meat being so rubbery. I ordered a meal at 4:45 on Thursday. I received the order at 5:40. I ordered two pepsis to come with it and they were left out. I called back immediately and spoke to john who said he'd have the driver come back. Forty minutes later I called back wondering where the driver was. John said the driver had to make a delivery. In this time frame I could have driven from Spartanburg to Greenville and back for a Pepsi. John then seemed agitated in my disappointment and asked if I "needed it real bad" at which point I told him to keep it and I wouldn't be back. Until this point I had been a devout customer of Panda Garden, but this lapse in customer service makes me feel it is going downhill. Next time I'll drive to Uncle Poon's downtown. read more

This place is by far the best Chinese restaurant in the area. The service is professional and courteous (which is rare among the other Chinese restaurants in the area). The food fresh and tasty. And the price is appropriate. I've lived in this county for about a year now and good Chinese is hard to find here. Panda Garden is my go to place. My family has just moved to Spartanburg and are used to smaller city delivery but if you can't handle the process you shouldn't offer it!! I have eaten here twice over the past few months, mostly because it's located beside the nail salon I've been going to for over a year. Unfortunately, the food here is far from good. The bourbon chicken was breaded and defrosted and quite honestly tasted more like sesame chicken than anything. The rice is poor quality, the meat is frozen and the wontons are about the only thing worth eating. The service isn't bad, but it's not amazing either.
