I took both for takeout. As I drove home, I could smell the fries and I couldn't wait, so I grabbed a few at a stop light, I'm sure you all have done it. When I arrived, the fries were still crisp and hot and so was the pizza puff. Vinegar from the pickled veggies, sweet from the peppers, a good beef dog and an easily compromised but soft roll. The tamale was not bad. Lacking spice and flavor in the masa, but it was girthy and filled with chicken. Not pictured was a single meatball. The meatball was too dense, but the ragu had a good strong tomato base and lots of umami. The sauce was good, the meatball was lacking. For a quick bite, it's pretty good. I'm sure there's some local shops that can put them to shame, but as a traveler it hits all the spots.
