I ordered from here a second time because even though we ate here a couple weeks ago, I honestly couldn't remember almost anything about the place. The one thing I could remember is that the sauce container for the sweet and sour chicken hadn't been properly closed so the sweet and sour sauce spilled on literally everything in the bag. Sadly, this second visit wasn't any better. On the plus side, the sauce wasn't spilling everywhere. In the extremely negative side, the pork fried rice we ordered had shrimp in it! What is that about?? I had hoped it was a single shrimp that maybe got included from a prior order, and then we found a second and thought all was well. But then when I went to dish some up for myself, I found several other pieces of shrimp. I checked the slip and it says pork fried rice, so I don't know what the deal is about. Given that this is the second careless order we've had from them (out of two!), the relatively expensive price point for a portion, and that it's at least a 20 minute drive each way, I'm not going to bother giving them a try again.

Nice looking little place. We tried it based on some advice from people we know. Well, it's Chinese food but not something I'm running back for. I've had worse. this was middle of the road Chinese. Dishes were decent size but a little light on the meats. Egg rolls were decent and I definitely tasted the peanut butter in them. Not as good as others in the area. Fried rice was the best dish and that was fair. Hong Kong chow fun was mostly flavorless. I really wanted to find a new place for Chinese and it's just not that place folks. For the 10 minutes longer in the car, I'll be heading back to Hong Kong Chop Suey. Sorry Munch!

Decent Chinese- had the Mongolian beef (spicy, the ratio of beef to onions was a bit heavy on the onions), Orange chicken (sweet and sticky with lots of veggies), potstickers (very plump) and the egg rolls. Have never eaten in the restaurant, just get carry out. It's our go to spot for Chinese carry out.

The old Chinese Munch Inn's I was not a fan of. They were no MSG, carrot in the fried rice guys. This is place has changed. The food is the bomb American Chinese food. Egg rolls, egg foo young, chicharron bulalak ftw. The decor is straight out of a kungfu movie. Clean, good service, cheap, best in genre greasy type food.

Egg roll solid 8.0 fried shrimp fall apart there garbage the pork fried rice fantastic 8.9

If you like new star and moy lee this is pretty good for the neighborhood eggroll fried rice wonton soup Mongolian beef orange chicken very good service very good prices average clean bathroom and dinning room I recommend

I have never tried this place but when I went to order, I noticed a convenience fee added. What is this? Is it for ordering online or credit /debit card use? I would be glad to order in person and pay cash. Can anyone explain this charge?

Convenience fees are common nowadays post Covid and current due to higher cost of food. If you want to avoid this fee, eat in or pick it up but I have to say the food here is worth it!

The restaurant is small, with limited seating, but brightly decorated and immersive on the surf decor. I ordered the fish n chips, and they let me know it would be about 12 minutes, because they make everything fresh. No problema, dude. Beach Boys, surf music and other mellow tunes play overhead while you wait. It wasn't long at all, and I was presented with three (3!!!) crisply battered fish filets on a mound of seasoned shoestring fries. It was hot (prepared to order, remember), and delicious. The fries were awesome as well. I thought it was a little pricey, but the portions were large and I had plenty to take away. My fish was delish -- and I'd be glad to come back and try some of the other combos. The people who worked here were chill and friendly. Good vibrations!

This is a cute little restaurant with a few tables, window seats and seating along the wall. With the weather being nice there are tables outside too. Hubby and I wanted some seafood and we passed by Surf's Up a few times so it's long overdue for us to stop and try the food today. The owner, Lisa, was working behind the counter. She is so sweet and certainly very proud of her restaurant! We asked her for recommendations and she was happy to share some of the top preferred items of guests. She gave us time to look over the menu. I settled on the fried catfish dinner with a side of grits, greens & a roll. Hubby wanted fish and chips with a roll. Lisa told us that everything is made fresh to order so it would be about 15-20 mins. We weren't in any hurry, but we appreciated the heads up and the fact that it was all freshly made. The food arrived crispy and hot and oh so delicious! My catfish was so flakey. The grits and greens were the perfect sides to go with it. Hubs really enjoyed his fish and chips. The fries were so good, we couldn't stop eating them. Lisa also sold us on the fresh bread pudding, but we so full so we had to take it go. Just finished it tonight and it was even more delicious than she described! We will certainly be returning to try the shrimp po' boy and other items on her menu! Plus more bread pudding. Don't pass up this cute little place with delicious fresh seafood and desserts plus friendly service.

For appetizers, I got the cold shrimp and octopus cocktail along with half a dozen oysters. The oysters were so fresh that we ended up ordering another half dozen. For our entrée, we shared the Chapuzón, which came with cooked shrimp, octopus, and oysters in a flavorful house sauce that paired really well with everything. The sauce is so addicting, we ordered some rice to enjoy it some more. We finished with a flan that wasn't the typical style you see everywhere, but it tasted really good and was a nice way to end the meal. We were seated promptly in the formal dining room which was nicely decorated. Our semi-circular booth was spacious and comfortable. There were different sections in the restaurant that were more casual, tailored to the different tastes of the clients. Overall, food was delicious and portions were huge. I had a Boston Clam Chowder and a Gulf Grouper as the main. I would usually order a salad, but I didn't this time as each entrée came with a large plate of homemade roasted vegetables and wild rice. The Boston Clam Chowder had real pieces of clams in it. However, it was just lukewarm. My grouper looked great and tasted flavorful, but it was somewhat over-cooked (and therefore not tender), which was unfortunate. My wife had a bowl of Lobster Bisque and an order of Stuffed Flounder that had crabmeat sandwiched in the fish. She absolutely loved her choices. Our daughter had a Charbroiled Walleye and liked it too. Her only disappointment was the garlic bread being hard and dry. Our daughter and I each had a Chardonnay Stags Leap which was good, while my wife had a Virgin Mojito and truly enjoyed it. Surprisingly, the highlight of the night was the slice of tiramisu that our friendly and professional server Greg brought to me! It had a lit candle for my birthday, and Greg teamed up with two other waitresses enthusiastically sang me a happy birthday song! The tiramisu was excellent, creamy and not too sweet. I am not a dessert person but really appreciated this. I have a suggestion for the restaurant: as the portions were so large and each of us brought home half of it, it would have been nice that they make the portion 40% to 50% smaller, and lower the average price of $40 per entrée accordingly. It might help attract more customers. Just my two cents. All in all, I had a lovely birthday dinner at Boston Fish Market. Ambience was good, and service was outstanding. We will certainly return again.
