I have eaten at several Panda Express restaurants and usually love them. I hope this one is having problems because it is brand new and they are working out issues, but...the chicken with green beans that I get at other PE and love was only okay. The green beans were over cooked and were kinda soggy and wrinkly and the brown rice had clumps of rock hard rice that I had to spit out. This was at 12:30p, so It should have been busy enough to keep the rice fresh (the parking lot was full, I used the drive through, so I am not sure). I will give them another chance in a couple of weeks and repost. read more

So Frustrated. My Oops - Ordered using the app for the 1st time. Selected location on Mid Rivers Mall Drive. Learned upon arrival at the Cottleville store that I had picked the Mid Rivers Mall location (Also on Mid Rivers Mall Drive.) They obviously didn't have my order. Took a couple of seconds to figure things out. Manager and employee told me "This happens all the time." Their Oops - I was told they could transfer my order from the other store, but it would take 10 minutes (the store was empty...) I was rushing home from work and needed dinner fast which is why I used the app in the first place. I didn't want to wait so they said I could place another order then cancel through the app. I said asked them to go ahead and re-create my order. I paid for the order, and tried to cancel on the app, but was too late in the process. I asked the manager if he could contact the mall location and have them cancel my order. Again, was told he couldn't do this and I would need to call myself. Huh? Ok. Fine. I'll call when I get in the car. When I got in my car I called the number for the Mall location. The worker that answered the phone said his manager is off today and tomorrow and that I could call back Friday to have my order cancelled! Or, I could come pick up the food if I didn't want to wait until Friday. Huh? Again, I was just tilting my head and laughing about the lack of service. So here is my main point of frustration. This is obviously a common problem that this store faces. I totally get this was my mistake. Rather than empowering the manager to solve this common problem and just take care of customers, the process in place puts the customer out and makes them solve their own problem. The manager could have just given me my food, and then transferred the order. There was absolutely no reason to make me wait while the transfer is worked through. Alternatively, once I paid for my order a second time, the manager could have been nice and transferred my order to his store, and then cancelled/refunded it. Finally, a third alternative would have been to just comp my order and eat the cost. Instead of being a hero, the manager made me feel stupid, frustrated, and very unhappy with my Panda Express experience. The cost of my meal tonight ($19) would have cost far less than my lost business going forward. Hopefully someone from Panda reads this review and uses it as a learning opportunity for the team. At least the next customer won't be put out like I was. read more

Save yourself time and go somewhere that wants/deserves your business. Ordered and paid online. Arrived at the time stated it would be ready. Was it? NOPE. When I go to check out they inform me that they won't expect my coupon they tell me that panda rewards DONT work in Missouri well then why in the would they send it to me! Saw they had a deal and our normal chinese is temporarily closed due to current situation. Figured why not. Ordered on the app said it would be ready at 7:23. Picked up kids some mcd and went to get our food. Got there a few min before and walked up. Waited about 5 min a worker came out asked for my name and said it should be a few more minutes. 5 more minutes they came out again asked my name again and said they were working on it. Waited about 10 more minutes. They came out again with other food said they were waiting on broccoli and beef. Also cars in the drive through there after i was there are leaving. 7:50 they came out again said they finishing it up now. I asked how long my food had been packed up was told 15 min sitting under the lights. Finally got my food 7:55. 30 minutes after it was supposed to be delivered, i work in food and understand things happen but i never once was offered an apology for the wait. It was always were working on it, should only be a few more minutes. Got home and its not even good. Mushy beef, chewy orange chicken, flavorless fried rice, crab rangoon filled with only cream cheese and chives. Only ok things were egg rolls and kung pao chicken. Will not go back. read more

I have visited several Panda Express locations in my travels and this is one of the worst. Poor service, poor management, and poor direction. They are always running out of staple menu items. When it was first opened they did well and from that point forward it has been a free fall in poor service. The owners really need to close this place and get their act together. It's giving Panda Express a bad reputation in this area. read more

Had an issue with my online order. Went up to this location to talk to a manager it. She said since it's online there's nothing she will do about it. Contacted customer service requesting a call back and 3 days later, no response. This isn't the first issue with Panda. They need to train their managers better in customer service. Skip this location if you have to have Chinese. read more

What happened to this place? There are about 10 people behind the counter - none of them speak English - no one could figure out how to use the register. There were multiple cooks, one person helping customers. Yet another person was in the lobby on her cell phone. Napkin dispenser was empty and didn't fill it up after we told them there weren't any. Absolutely love pandas food and always have, but this particular location has been disappointing. I have had my drive through order messed up several times now. Make sure you triple check the screen when ordering to make sure they have everything correct!! Also sometimes the rice isn't cooked right, it has had some crunchy pieces in it. I highly recommend trying orange chicken though. read more

Panda Express is essentially Chinese, fast food. This location always has consistent quality, fast and friendly service. Not sure where these other reviews came from; as I visit this location about twice a month, at all different times of the day and night; and never had a problem. As long as you're a reasonable individual, realizing where you're going to eat and what you will be getting; the Panda in Cottleville is fantastic. (Comparable to other Panda locations I've visited) Don't go into any restaurant with unreasonable expectations and you will be much happier!:-) read more

My restaurant visit was excellent. I was on my half hour break, & I always know that I can go into Panda Express and come straight out with Hot Fast Service with a smile. Even though there are plenty of restaurants on Mid Rivers Rd, I decided to go with Panda express, which is on of my first choices-all the time. I Love the varieties of entree selections. Arrived at 10:30am on Saturday when it is supposed to be open. Employees were still arriving to work late at that time. By the way, the drive through was already supposed to be open since 10am. They let us in at 10:33am after we stood at the door waiting. Half of the food was not yet prepared and not ready to serve. Then the person who seemed to be in charge (a male with glasses) told us that there was a problem with their cash register drawers being still locked up so he couldn't process a transaction... I asked if they could still run a credit card... he said he didn't think so and we would have to wait while they got this figured out. So I suggested we go ahead and eat to give them time to do that and we'd pay before we left. He said "I don't know about that... I don't think so...". So I asked if he thought my 10 year old and I were planning on just leaving without paying? He didn't have any response just looked dumbfounded. So we left and ate somewhere else that actually has good customer service. We witnessed a comedy of errors of complete incompetence in a very short amount of time and on top of this were directly insulted. Pathetic. They should be fired. No good sense, no ability to exercise judgement or independent thought. read more
