This is probably the most disappointing order I have ever picked up from Panda Express. The order was placed 45 minutes before pickup, over an hour before the stated close time. When I arrived the store front was closed which forced all patrons to pick up via drive through. My order was incorrect. I was not given a choice to choose a replacement. I choose grilled chicken but it was switched to orange chicken without my knowledge. The quality of food is mediocre. As seen in the picture the greens are old and brown, the rice was hard. This is the only meal I'll be allowed to purchase during a 12 hour ER night shift. This order was a waste of time, money, and effort. Ok that is their choice. She then asked if I wanted to "round up" my bill and "Donate" the difference to an unknown "charity." She would not take our order, until we separated. Yet at the same time, she waited on multiple customers wearing the same pair of gloves. It is okay for one employee to touch multiple surfaces, people's credit cards, food and the door without changing gloves, but I can't stand with my husband. Where is the common sense? This panda has a very modern look to it. It was very clean and they had food coming out fresh. It was during lunch time so it was packed, but the line moved fairly quickly. The thing I disliked about this location was the seating. There are only two booth tables here. The rest of the seating are long tables with chairs and benches. I would be fine sitting in those long tables if i were to not have my kids with me, but with kids private booths are better. We got lucky and got a booth because by the time we got our food the people sitting there had moved. This is not a Panda "Express". I came to the drive thru, and proceeded to wait for exactly an hour and 11 minutes. I hope it was a learning opportunity for this location. They ran out of a few items and the 2 people attending the drive thru were fooling around in front of the window. There was no sense of urgency despite how busy they were. Seems like there needs to be a change or addition to leadership. The food was alright. The fried rice was really smooshy and pretty mashed together and the chow mein was overcooked. The orange chicken was super spicey and coated with chile pepper. The building and parking lot looked clean. The drive thru window was dirty and greasy but understandable due to lack of down time. Since the day it opened, the drive through has had very bad service. Before ordering I can see that there's no customers inside ordering so I decide to take a chance by ordering through the drive through. When I get there I can see a car or two waiting for their food so I figure the wait won't be long. I place my order and I wait for my order. The two cars end up taking 10 minutes each (with a dead restaurant inside), and when I finally get to the window to pay they tell me that they don't have chicken teriyaki or broccoli beef ready. So that's another 10-20 minute wait and I end up getting a coupon for a free side. The times I do get somewhat decent service they end up giving me fried rice instead of white. You should see me order my white rice though, I get all WHHHHHite rice on them and get the drive through display that says white rice yet..I get fried. Soooo if you have about 30 minutes to wait for your food hit it up. Personally, I started going to the one off of Martin Luther King since this one is so bad. Even right now I had to go to the MLK one since they told me it was going to be 45 minutes for the chicken teriyaki to be ready. Yeah no, I quit.. So 0 stars for this location but oh wait...minimum stars I can i can give is one... In general, I like the Panda Express chain. Sometimes I just get a hankering for a big plate of greasy Chinese food that's fast and easy. Panda fits that craving. The first time I came to this location, it was slammed. I sat in the drive-thru line for over twenty minutes without so much as moving a measly inch forward. With about ten cars ahead of me and the menu board looking oh so far away, I actually ended up driving off in search of another fast food joint so I could get on with my night. Busy is fine as long as we keep it moving. The second time I went here, I thought I was clever by ordering online and paying beforehand. I figured we could just run in to their "express line" and pick it up without the long wait. My husband went in to retrieve our goodies and they did not have it ready. They were semi-busy but not slammed. My guess is our order was simply put into rotation when we arrived because we had to wait almost twenty-five minutes for an employee to fix our to-go plates. Kind of defeats the purpose of pick-up. Food tasted like its usually greasy self. This location should work on its time execution though. Major turn off for a "fast food" restaurant. read more
