    Wonton Soup (small)

I want to explore the menu after dining here! First off the atmosphere is just so pretty with the giant cherry blossom tree and aesthetic lanterns. This made my dining experience much more enjoyable. I loved the vibe I was getting! The service was very good too. My servers were very nice and were speedy with both my food and drinks. I appreciate their kindness! The food I had ordered was the beef lo mein, with the two count wonton soup and a jasmine iced tea! Yes I know it's mainly a ramen house but they pretty much serve most eastern Asian cuisine. Next time I will try the ramen! But on the main note, the lo mein came out on a huge plate! I was shocked to see so much but pleased with the quantity! It tasted awesome and had so many flavorful veggies. I appreciate that it wasn't just noodle only. The wonton soup was pretty good too! I personally don't really like a strong oil based soup. The soy was super strong and there was a lot of salt, I still ate it all up but I do prefer something more with a clear base. The wontons themselves were pretty good too. The soup came out piping hot so thank you for that! Jasmine tea was definitely not brewed but still tasty and I drank it all! No complaints this time, it paired well with the food! Overall great spot and I can't wait to come back in and try more from this menu!!!

This is a quick review of a ramen house in El Paso. I was greeted with quick and timely service, although it wasn't packed. It has a healthy menu of options to choose from, which in El Paso is a luxury. Although I can't speak for the entire menu, the chicken teriyaki was great, having a savory and tangy taste. The rice was standard but decent overall. I had no complaints, as it did come out hot, but it was mixed better, as all my chicken was at the top with the rice at the bottom, so a lot of rice was left over. The green tea was fantastic, and that might be enough of a reason to go here for just the drink. Overall, the store was great, with a nice flower tree in the corner and a traditional vibe. The price was not super expensive, but it was still on the pricier side, which, for the food and service I received, I'd be willing to pay, but I also understand that expensive is expensive. Overall, this is a great place to eat in El Paso if you're looking for Asian-specific food.

Umani Ramen House has become one of our most comfortable and favorite restaurants to dine in. The staff is familiar, and they make us feel welcomed, and food is always delicious! I also appreciate that the music is not too loud. The restaurant is clean and I enjoy the decor. Recommended. 5/5

They actually make different pots of broth for every flavor. It's not like the typical El Paso special witch Asian food where they take the same recycled broth and adding chili oil. It's really good. Recommend black garlic ramen.

Food was really good! I got the sweet and sour shrimp, and it was fresh, flavorful, and nicely portioned. The service was great our server was really nice and attentive. The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and everything came out quickly. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and recommend to others.

Horrible service. Our waiter interrupted us when we had questions just to blow us off and go do something else. When we asked to start with ordering the appetizer, he claimed we weren't ready and walked away. The rice was burnt and the orange chicken was cold. Will not be coming back to get treated poorly.

Very cute quaint place we stopped in on a Saturday evening. It was busy, but we were seated quickly and drinks were brought nearly instantly. The atmosphere is beautiful - hanging lanterns and a large cherry blossom tree. The food was out quickly, everything was hot and fresh, and delicious. Our service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The dumplings were a tad flavorless, but they were still decent. Definitely worth a check in!

My order was ready as soon as I arrived which is a big plus. A little disappointed in the broth to bowl ratio. Also, the egg rolls didn't come with any sauce at all. Luckily I have soy sauce at home. Second photo is the end result when putting meat and fixings inside. It's basically half a bowl. I will end off on good note that the broth was flavorful which is wonderful. I have been to places that fill the bowl to the rim and have dozens of options to add on and the the broth was bland. So there are points for that for sure. I would go again if I wanted a light lunch and remember to ask for sauce for the egg roll.

El Paso…read morewas one of our last stops on the way and we searched for Guy Fieri's visited restaurant list and found Kaemada. We had wonderful meals of BBQ, Southern, American and Mexican food but we started to miss our Ramen meals back home. This place was great. Ot had a youthful, edgy vibe with cozy and nice colorful decor. We ordered the Thicc Boi and Birria Ramen, and ordered sides of the Thai Peanut Cucumber Salad, and Pork buns. The salad was a nice appetizer. We wished we had this back home. The dressing tasted peanutty with black sesame seeds and a nice acid balance. Kaemada's Ramen has El Paso influences. The broth had full bodied flavor, the meat was cut thicker with grilled char! Please also try the Birrea Ramen! We eat Birria broth and tacos at home and this ramen bowl was a great marriage of the 2 dishes. The thick cut and grilled char feature was also included in the pork bun. It was so tasty and satisfying with the thick pork cut, which I often thought was too thin anyways in the original version. They took the best El Paso meat flavor and Japanese presentation influences to make Kaemada's dish unique and their own. Don't expect the delicate and refined dashi broth Japan has. Be open to the bold flavors of the pork and broth. Expect a Southwest and Japanese fusion of robust and evolved flavors. Personally, I like firm noodles so request it cooked this way. Izzy, our server was friendly and attentive. She made our meal there more pleasant. Don't forget to order the Yuzu Cheesecake, light and not so sweet with a strong presence of Yuzu. A great finish to our meal. 10/10.

The dishes were very well made, as if the owners were preparing them for themselves. We could tell a lot of care went into preparing them. I ordered Gom Bibim. The dish was visually pleasing and delicious. The flavor of the noodles was light. Often, the noodles in bibim kooksoo are drenched in sauce. These were prepared just right. The bedding of mixed greens were very fresh and paired nicely with the spicy noodles. My daughter ordered Gom Tang. The dish was good. The broth was a bit saltier than the traditional gom tang. She said that the egg was good. My sister-in-law ordered Gom Ramen. She said that it hit the spot. Delicious! We also ordered mandoo. They were served with a light kochojang sauce, and were hot and crispy. I highly recommend this restaurant. We are in town for the BTS concert. When we arrived, we did not know what to expect (we even looked into the place in order to decide if we were staying or living). WHAT A SURPRISE!!!! The food (all of it) was SPECTACULAR. VERY fresh and tasty. The prices? I still cannot believe we ate so much delicious food for that amount of money. My wife wanted a Salmon Steak. They did not have the right sauce and therefore the dish was not in the menu. I asked if they could do a grilled salmon instead without the sauce. They did. The rolls here are much bigger in size than most places and it felt like it was harder to eat without it just falling apart. I also picked this place due to the reviews but it seems like the name has been changed and maybe the business owner as well because it's now called Sushi Gang. I would say my favorite thing was the Eel nigiri. The dragon roll didn't meet my expectations from other Dragon rolls I had before. The Golden California roll was better than the Dragon roll. The staff was nice but they recommended something else to try and honestly it was very good. I don't even remember what it was but it was like a rice ball.
