11/22/2024 I sat at the driveway and no one said anything for 5 minutes. I final said hello then the lady laugh and said sorry give me a few minutes. 10/20/2024 They were clearly out of chicken and gave me the scraps. My bowl only have 6 pieces of chicken in it. They close at 9 pm but I came at 8:30 pm. They stopped making chicken just so they wouldn't have to throw out any left overs. They told me all they were serving it a impossible meat. I left hungry and disappointed of this location. Never coming back to this location Any other Panda Express is incredible. I feel like they do not get enough recognition for their food. Food is like chipotle style ordering. Build your dish. Pick your grain, then your meat. They have a ton of options. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean. read more

Whenever I go there, they don't have most of the food prepared and are short on many items--not just one or two. They need to manage the place better or simply close it. It's very annoying to plan a visit and then leave without eating just because they were too lazy to prepare the food. read more

Ran through the driveway at Panda Express today. I got the honey walnut chicken and white rice. It was a good sized combo meal. My only complaint is I would have liked more sauce tot cover my ride which was a bit bland and dry. The shrimp themselves had great flavor. I also got an order of the crab rangoons. UPDATED REVIEW (Year 2020) -- Panda Express is still open during the current worldwide pandemic (COVID-19/Coronavirus). The drive-thru window at this location is open. I visited on a weeknight in September after playing tennis. I arrived late, around 8:30pm, so they were out of some menu items. I had to wait an extra 6 mins or so for my order which was fine. I ordered through the drive-thru window. My go-to menu item here is the Kung Pao Chicken so that is what I ordered. Panda Express's Kung Pao Chicken has spicy chicken, zucchini, red bell peppers and crunchy peanuts in a ginger garlic sauce. I love the combination of flavours in this dish. For under $7, it was a simple and delicious meal. If you are looking for fresher and more authentic Chinese food then this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for a "healthier" fast food option for lunch or dinner then try Panda Express. This restaurant is a solid 3/5. I was generous in my previous review by rating it 4/5. This is a chain restaurant that has been around for a while so you are destined to find something on the menu that you like but options for vegetarians are limited. Vegetarians can choose options such as: Chow Mein and Eggplant Tofu. Other dishes include Super Greens, Vegetable Spring Rolls and Steamed White and Brown Rice. Not a good location. Disgusting standards! I think a health inspector should pay a visit to this location. Seems to be a trend with the West side chain or franchise locations, they seem to lack good service/ethics/people. Placed an order online, and when I arrived the employee had over 10 receipts in front of him, a few people frustrated sitting around, and as I'm looking down at the food, you'd think they were attacked by a pack of wolves craving chinese food. The hand tongs were completely sitting in the bare chow mein tray, and the employee had no gloves. He was looking at me with defeat, letting me know that "it's gonna be a while". LMAO this is literally one of the easiest biz models, you arrive, you order and you leave. I've never seen chaos like this before at a Panda. The employees appeared angry, lost, unguided, and ready to hide. The customers were growing frustration, the complete experience was a sh*t show. I was patient, and waited for 30 minutes for my online order, meanwhile watching cleanliness standards continue to diminish the more the time ticks by. I finally waited back in line to ask about my online order from 30 minutes ago, only to be growled at by a larger employee that was going to let me know that I have to wait and that I can get my refund online since thats how I ordered it. Immediately after she said that, one of the back cooks throws a tray of shrimp (looked undercooked) at the serving area, and a few shrimps fell out of the tray onto the ground and into other food. Was a super disturbing scene, as if I was begging them for free food. I had to remind myself that I was there to enjoy a service I paid for, and not to be shunned or shammed because of their opportunities. I do blame management for not training this staff properly, but at end of the day, if your working at Panda and you don't like food or people, you may want to change industries, there are other ways to make money. After requesting for a refund through the website, as directed by the employee, Panda has yet to reply to me, but they did charge me over $30 for no food and bad service... I haven't had food this vile and disgusting from delivery in years. The orange chicken was little tiny pieces of rubber with some kind of so called orange sauce which was so sour no one could eat it. Even the rice sucked which is unexplainable from a Chinese restaurant. Payed extra for a bigger plate and this is the first time I thanked God the size was to small because what I got was dog food and not fit to serve humans. I gave up trying to get a refund. Listen, if you follow my Yelp reviews it's obvious I dine out a lot, but Asian isn't big on my list to hit up, nor is chain fast food, so what possessed me to try this place out I have no idea. I will say 5 stars for the friendly, helpful, patient staff. And I think prices are affordable especially for the large portions you get. However... the food had such an off taste, like not fresh, not even sure it was food. It all had this chemical/processed taste to it. IDK if it was the breading or the sauce or what, but I did not feel good about putting this into my body. Had a very bad experience today. I went up to the counter to see if i can get an appetizer and the girl behind the counter was standing there playing or texting on her cell phone. I stood there for a minute or more. It wasn't until her coworker got her attention to let her know I was there. I noticed some of the serving trays were empty so I asked her why. She told me that those items were made to order so when I asker if I can get veggie spring rolls,she said they were out of them. I got confused and asked her why didn't she tell me that to begin with then she started going off on me then at then end of her ranting and eye rolling she said, "have a nice day" in a condescending tone. The assistant manager saw what had transpired and apologized for the girl's actions and agreed that the employee shouldn't have spoken or behaved that way. I will not be coming back there to eat any time soon. After a long day of work, ain't nobody got time for that. read more

The first time I went to Panda Express was in Montana. I didn't use the drive-thru there so I can't compare that, but I can compare the food and overall experience. And this one compared to the one in Montana does not fare as well. I have been to this one 4 times. They are always friendly, but the experience has gone downhill each time. The last time I ordered mushroom chicken. Instead, I got the string bean chicken. And the string bean was very - stringy. Today I ordered two entrees (broccoli and beef and mushroom chicken) and one side (chow mein). No mushroom chicken whatsoever, but tons of chow mein. Today was the final straw. First time getting Panda Express. I ordered a large fried rice,a medium teriyaki chicken and four chicken egg rolls. The rice was dry and almost tasteless, the chicken was fatty and was not only a strange color but had no teriyaki flavor or any flavor at all (swear it wasn't any kind of meat I have ever experienced). I've already given up on Panda Express (except the location in Mentor, OH) but my daughter loves it so I did stop to grab her some chow mein and honey chicken while visiting Cleveland today...she liked it, she ate it so mission was accomplished. My problem was customer service or lack there of, we went to the drive thru and the young man argued with us about what type of coupon we had and we ended up not even being able to use it. I did try to talk to him at the drive thru window also when we pulled up and said excuse me twice but he completely ignored me which is fine I just know not to come back. read more

Last time my fiancé and I ordered to-go, I had ordered Beijing beef and they gave me orange chicken even after reading the order back correctly to us. We looked at the receipt and had ordered two plates (only one serving of orange chicken) and they had rung up the order as three servings of orange chicken. No big deal--went inside and they took care of it. They had to make the beef from scratch while we waited 10 minutes for it, but still only a minor inconvenience. However, we went a second time today and this time we decided to check our order before leaving the drive-thru window to make sure the order was correct. I only checked the food order, but after getting home realized they had forgotten my fiancé's teriyaki sauce for his chicken, sweet and sour sauce for the spring rolls, and requested packets of soy sauce (all of which they read back to us). Silly me, I also forgot to test the soda before driving off--instead of root beer, we received a Dr. Pepper that needed the syrup changed badly. We like Dr. Pepper and it's a close second for us, but this was not drinkable. To top it all off, my fiancé was halfway through his orange chicken when he discovered a 6" long hair in his food. I'm updating my prior review and giving Panda Express 1 additional star. The first time I tried it, I wasn't overly impressed. It was OK. I've since learned that they don't use MSG which is a rare commodity with Asian food. That being said, the lack of MSG is probably why I initially thought their food was a bit bland. Taking that into account, its probably more healthy eating here than at a MSG-laden Chinese takeout restaurant. A plate, which is 2 entrees and a side, is plenty of food for me and I can get all that for less than $8. Its definitely "Americanized", but if you know that going in it should not be an issue. Price is right, staff is friendly. My only complaint now is that often I end up having to wait for my order. When they are out of something I'm normally told that it will take "6-8 minutes", so I gladly step aside or pull around and park. Usually that 6-8 minutes turns into 20+ minutes which gets annoying if you weren't planning on that. read more

I have been there quite a few times trying to eat healthy getting just fresh steamed vegetables and it seems impossible no matter what I ordered they screw it up they substitute items without asking me. I have no idea how this place has ever gotten more than a 2 star rating. This food is completely horrible. Just, the actual worst. It's like if you went to the cheapest "actual" Chinese restaurant and all the cooks were sick so the busboy was making the food...only worse. The food is completely bland, the "crispy" chicken is mostly breading, which is soggy and mushy. The fried rice has no vegetables, is utterly bland, and is somehow undercooked. Honestly, this restaurant is way more organized and cleaned then way more stores than I have ever seen. The amount of detail they put in the store looking amazing is awesome. My favorite part is the fact that the cooks try to make the food always fresh, if someone hasn't ordered something for a while they will make a new batch of it. What honestly most people complain about is them taking some time to cook things and having to wait 5-10 minutes, but this is a restaurant not fast food. The food here can be classified as fast food Asian. The chain seems to be growing by leaps and bounds as they are popping up everywhere. The downside to this location is staffing. It is rare to get in and out of the drive through in under 10-15 minutes and my last visit was the longest topping off at least 35. From time of entering the drive thru it took minimally 10 minutes to get to the order speaker. Then another 5-8 for the woman on the speaker to take my order. She was thoroughly confused and unable to answer simple menu questions. I was alerted that 2 of the menu items Once my order was placed I was asked to pull around to wait 8 minutes. The 8 turned to 15 and you get the picture. Great news! The manager came out to apologize and offer up a courtesy order of egg rolls when I explained I had already ordered egg rolls he offered to remove the cost from my bill.. offer excepted! A few minutes later he returned with my order and a wonderful surprise he took the entire order off y charge card and I received the order for free. I couldn't have been happier. I had ordered the family feast. It says it will feen 3-4, but if you have big eaters order an extra meal. Food is good but prepare food a wait and if you don't have to, even better. I am pretty picky with my Chinese food. For a fast food restaurant, I love panda express. I used to go to the location every time I went to Cedar Point and I was so excited when this one opened. Want to like it but just can't handle the drive through or carry out experience. Seems like they would do better to keep all the prepared food in one spot to better indicate whether you're going get food quickly or have to wait 5, 10 or 15 minutes for it. Having "two kitchens" is en vogue to tell investors how you're going to handle higher volumes for web order/ drive through but it's a failure here. Have given them several tries hoping it was growing pains but this last time they shorted me on half my order - only giving me the plate that was out. Shame one me for not checking before I left but this is the 4th or 5th disappointing experience too many. Regarding the food...it's decent fast casual Ameri-Chinese style.
