My review is based on the noise level and location of the drive through speaker, as I was unable to place an order at the speaker and left without ordering. They are situated next to a car wash that makes constant running noise, and the order taker was unable to hear me, and I was unable to hear her, so I gave up. I didn't try to go inside. I think this situation would be helped if they reversed their drive through, and had the speaker on the other side of their building. I was disappointed when we order a family meal for six people. We paid about $70 and you would think there would be more care in our order! The food clerk was more concerned with trying to UP SALE us than actually addressing our concerns, fortune cookies, napkins, plates and utensils. Then she got to the point where she wanted us to pay before she had our order fully prepared however she was the one doing so. This lady, Isis was was more concerned with taking our money than carefully filling the order to the point that she became dissatisfied that we were checking the items requested. To end this ordeal, we paid, and she placed the large cardboard carry out box on the counter on what appeared to be a puddle of soda. I had asked for a towel or napkins, explained that she placed the box on a wet counter, in fear the carrying box would rupture and she tells me , oh we don't have any napkins! Really? Went through the drive through today and I have always asked for beef and broccoli but only broccoli no beef. Today she says "We'll do our best because it's already mixed" well okay that's new but it's fine.... I just got home and I feel like she went out of her way to pick the meat out. The worker was rude. I arrived a bit early for my pickup at the drive through and was told to come back. They acted as if they can't put my food in a box until the time the app said. If I was to get there and order the same thing from the drive through I would have got my food at the window no problem. Whenever my daughters have a craving for Panda Express, this is the one we go to in the high desert. My youngest is a big fan of their orange chicken + honey walnut shrimp + chow mien all the way. My eldest also likes the same, but sometimes she'll change it up and get Beijing beef instead of orange chicken. I myself will get teriyaki chicken + string bean chicken + chow mien. Love their teriyaki sauce! What I like about Panda Express is the bonus of the 3rd entree item if you do the survey. Most recently, they changed the way they offer the bonus of the 3rd entree item. The only issue I have with the latter is the short length of time the customer is given to return and use the bonus... I think it's 2 weeks now. Also, customer has only two days to complete the survey otherwise it's lost which has happened to me a few times now. Maybe give the customers a little bit more time to complete the survey and use the bonus gift. Staff is usually pleasant. Prices have gone up, but what hasn't. Restaurant is spacious and was clean. We have been to this location in the past without problem, unfortunately today we got home with our order and discovered three orders of wontons were so overcooked that the cheese inside was completely gone. Then noted the steak and the steak and shrimp entrée was also overcooked to the point of being burnt. Interesting part is we called up to the store and talk to the manager who seemed to be rather indifferent about the situation it didn't see a problem. Avoid this location at all costs. This is my 2nd time trying this location because I thought maybe I got a bad batch last time. Nope. The orange chicken has a strange mildew smell and weird taste, the broccoli beef meat was grey looked old as heck and smelled old. Couldn't even eat the broccoli. I had a horrible experience at the bear valley in apple valley location next to hawaiian bbq, they had a hair in my food and didnt want to replace it. They gave me small portions and the meat wasnt fresh (which had the hair in it). They pulled me aside so no one would hear me and still didnt offer to change my entire plate. I got fed up and tossed the food and left them a bad review on yelp and survery. I am already sick and eating food that has someones sweat gland oils, yeast and bacteria isnt what I need to spend 21$ on. The cook also had no hair net. They treated me like I was the problem. So i went there cus i had gotten blood drawn and needed food because i had not ate at all. I was so upset i wanted my panda, so i decided to pay my lyft driver 10$ extra to take me to the panda by my house. No one answered the phone in an hour. Kept redialing and still no answer. Got to restaurant where it was slow! Owner parked in handicap parking- not cool! Standing in line while the manager yelled out about termination of 2 employees to the owner. No one ever said high or anything to acknowledge customers were there. I was 2 in line and waited for nearly 10 minutes to order my food by yet another employee that never said anything to me. The food was crap at best. The flavors where not there n noodles and rice tasted n felt like foam. Btw teriyaki chicken doesn't come with teriyaki sauce, got my food home to find grilled dry chicken. I won't be back! Of course Panda comes on to DM them. Telling me they will replace my order that was $20. Great right? They only sent me a $10 gift card. When I complained again. They wanted proof of purchase ‍. Seriously, you don't believe your customers?? So, I attached the receipt and still no replacement of my entire order! Over two months now. I feel like chain fast-food is extremely polarizing. All I can say is that Pepe, the manager and chef, treated me very well and the food was on point. Obviously I can't speak for everyone but after riding the Panda for decades this location at the moment I ate was pretty damn great. To top it off Pepe brought over a side of Kung Pow Chicken (for free) while we were eating because it was not available during the selection process. Update: Panda contacted me to make things right and even sent me a letter apologizing for our experience. The customer service of Panda in terms of the company greatly exceeded my expectations and for that I wanted to update my review and add another star. I really appreciate how they made me feel like a valued customer. The only reason that this is only a one star upgrade from 2 to 3 stars however is because of the location itself. As I said previously this was my favorite location of any I've been to, the food is usually amazing, like impressive for being fast food. We've gone back two more times since the last experience but the food just isn't the same, did they change management or staff or was I just getting lucky? The items are either mostly veggie or all meat, the rice is super dried out, and even the meat itself is rubbery and overcooked. Twice in a row now we've had food like this and I can't get my head around it. We were coming here consistently since September without any complaint against the food. This place gets worse every time we go. This time we ordered the family feast and all the "large" containers were 2/3 full. They used to be full but it's gotten worse and worse. Not only did they not fill the order, we had to wait 15 minutes for them to give it to us, even though we ordered ahead of time with a pick up time and showed up 10 minutes after that. I went through the drive thru about one week ago. Service was great. Most food was very good. The exception was the large egg rolls. They were darker colored than I usually get. I tried them anyway. They tasted terrible. The taste was a combination of old cooking oil and burnt. There's no way the egg rolls should've been sold. They should've been thrown in the garbage. They were the worst egg rolls I've ever tasted. The person who cooked the egg rolls needs immediate additional training or shouldn't be cooking at all. read more

Don't eat here folks. I unfortunately had to file a complaint with the environmental health department today. I was there for my lunch hour and found some kind of worm/caterpillar on my broccoli.
