Service is horribly slow, was pulled around from the drive through and waited on my order to be brought out. I was told that my beef and broccoli had to cook so, I ended up waiting about ten minutes and my meal was only warm. You'd think it'd be piping hot since they had to cook it. But on the upside, the young lady Cici who brought it out was very sweet and smiled the entire time and she seemed to really enjoy her job... This was the only reason I didn't just ask for my money back and go elsewhere. The food was okay, not as good as the Alabama location. read more

Although I had to pull up and wait, this was okay & understandable as I am okay with having to wait in knowing that "fresh" was about to roll out. Always polite, friendly and if I have to do this every visit here that is fine with me. That wait was well worth it and about as good of "fast food" as one wants to get. read more

This is a new location in Hoover, and super convenient to get to from 31 or 65. It's only been open a week or two and I've come here twice already with my husband. The first time we went inside. The restaurant was nice and felt new. There was a good amount of people eating inside and people coming in to order and get their food to go. A few issues with the first visit: the restaurant wasn't a wreck, but it looked like it hadn't been swept up in a bit...straw wrappers on the floor, spilled drinks at the drink station; there were way too many people working behind the counter...I'm sure there was a lot of training going on, but seriously, there must've been five girls plating food, one girl at the register, four or five guys cooking, and then a girl or two at the drive thru. It was a little overwhelming when going through the line to order, having all these girls looking at you waiting for you to speak. But other than that, the food was good and fast and cheap. There are even tables outside, which would be nice on a day when it wasn't 106 with the heat index. Today we decided to hit the drive thru. Super convenient. The menu board was easy to read, the speaker box had a computer screen where your order pops up to check its accuracy, and the speaker volume was just right. That's about all you need in a drive thru. The girl who took our order was very friendly. When we got to the window the same girl was still very friendly, smiled a lot, and asked if we needed anything else. The food came out quickly and was still hot when we got home. Both times we tried the orange chicken (an A from me) and the sweet fire chicken (a B from the husband..."could be hotter, but overall pretty good") and both the fried rice and noodles. Fried rice was the winner; the husband said the noodles didn't taste as fresh as they could've been. For fast, mall-type Asian food, I think it's a great way to go. read more

All the vegetables were way undercooked. The shrimp tasted fine but everything else was hard to eat. Paid $8 for 5 shrimp basically.

Food is good as to be expected. The orange chicken was flavorful. Was not drenched in sauce. The white fried rice had peas, carrots, chives (i think), and eggs. It was a little dry though. But in all, it's like what you get from out of the mall. Drive through was slow as well. read more

They never have enough food prepared and have butchered our orders 3 times within the past month. Furthermore, their Chow Mein is 80% stale vegetables and 20% old noodles. I would recommend eating microwaveable noodles before making a trip to this particular establishment. read more

Wow, so i wish there was a no star option for places like this! I've never had such a negative experience at a restaurant like we had here! We came in at about 7 pm on a Sunday night as we saw the drive thru was wrapped around the building. When we walked in there was a line but we noticed people leaving in front of us and going to Steak and Shake next door and that should've been our clue to leave too! We were greeted by a nice younger guy who was very personable and it was his 3rd day there his name was Tripp, which was a very cool name btw. When I ordered the chow mein, he said they were out... ok .... that is like a staple of this place and it's only 7, whatever, ok well what about some mixed vegetables? No, out of that too... ok, well I settled on fried rice and the last order of crab Rangoons they had. My fiancé wanted seasame chicken, out of that too! He settled for the shrimp w/walnuts. The rangoons were absolutely disgusting, tasted as they'd been there all day.... the fried rice was dry and his food was horrible as well. The lady with the headset who I guess was the manager!!! Was so rude to everyone! The couple in front of us just wanted to know how long it would be to cook up fresh chow mein and she was so rude about it.... saying " I'm sorry sir, I'm not psychic, I don't know" you can't give an eta??? You guys are out of everything and what you do have has been sitting in the window all day and yet you can't be nice?? The only good thing about this visit was their employee Tripp... that's it. They need to make him a manager and fire the one they have... and quick! We will never go back here, at least this location! read more

Coming from California, I was so excited to see Panda Express! They even had a drive through! But the last few times it's been closed. And a mom with three little kids I look forward to drive throughs, it's kinda a deal breaker for me. Sooner they open it, the sooner they will get my business. read more

Very unprofessional to say the least. Workers make their own lunch plate before helping you. For example one employee heard my order and took the last of a meat entree for her own lunch. No employee is ever maning the front and when they finally get up to you they keep asking you to repeat your order cause they are talking into their head set. Overall the food is decent, but the service is far below subpar. read more

Regarding store located at 3780 Lorna Rd, Hoover, AL 35244 I had a horrible experience at this location. I was using my T-Mobile Tuesdays app to redeem a free fiery chicken bowl. As I arrived I was told they had run out of chicken. I asked if there was anything else I could get and was told I could not receive any other item. I asked if there was a manager I could speak with and was told there was no manager on duty and that this location would be out of chicken until Friday. As a manager of a Franchise I stay up to date on offers and promotions (we also use T-Mobile Tuesdays at my franchise) and I make sure to have enough product in stock. If I run out of stock I personally drive to my distributor and pick up any items I may need. I commented that it seems management was lacking in their ability to properly run their store to ensure customer satisfaction. The staff on duty replied that they had very good management and that they will not tolerate a customer talking down about their management. I was then asked to leave the store. I complied, but as I left I received a very ugly look from a staff member who was sweeping the lobby. I will not be returning to this location and I will be posting my experience on various social media sites and restaurant review sites. read more

Service is horrible . It took about 20 min to get my order. I ordered the pepper chicken. I didn't open the box until I got home. I was shocked to see that I was served pepper chicken as a side dish, (1/4 cup) and rice as the main course (2 cups). Also, the pepper chicken had more celery and onions than chicken. Worse place ever. If I could give them a 0 I would. At first the food was good....at least for a few weeks after they opened. Then, we noticed the food wasn't cooked all the way through and was cold. From cold food they progressed to NO food. They are ALWAYS out of food. It doesn't matter what time of day you go they will be out of something. If you are planning on going after 6:00 PM too bad, they have already stopped cooking for the night and will tell you they are out of that item for the evening although they don't close for several more hours. Twice at the drive thru I have been told to pull around, the chicken had 6 mins left to cook. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes each time. I went through once and they said the chicken was frozen and they didn't have any to serve that day. I went back the next day and was told the same thing. The guy said no one put any chicken out to thaw when they first opened up (10:30 am) and he had just arrived on his shift (I was there about 5:30 pm) and it takes hours to thaw so there was no way it would be ready that evening. I told him this was the second day in a row that they haven't had chicken due to it not being thawed. I asked for the manager and he told me that no one had heard from her all day and they were actually getting worried about her. I have called the corporate office twice to complain and no one has called me back. I really hate the service is so bad because having eaten at several other Panda's we were excited to finally have one in Hoover. read more
