The to go here is SO good! The staff are always really kind. Have had multiple take outs with friends & family and all of them have been consistent in quality. They arrive fairly warm after a drive. I don't know how searing in the building is, but they do have space in the location to eat inside. Usually just park by the parking garage and hop out. The phone call to order is also very easy! Egg rolls are so yum and have the perfect softness with a crunch. 10/10 The rice is always well done 10/10 The spicy orange chicken was a new one for me, LOVE it! Today, I decided to eat an ethnic view meal at China Master Express near UAB Hospital campus. They offer cook to order dishes, like Mongolian beef, sweet & sour shrimp, lo mein and fried rice. Vegetarian options like seasoned vegetables and tofu are available as well. Some of the most popular items are ready on a line, where the ladies are serving up huge portions with every meal. Soup, egg rolls and wontons are available on the line too. The price is fairly reasonable and water is free for dine in customers. The interior wall decor features Asian figures and Japanese cherry blossoms with red painted walls. I chose a deluxe combo, trying sesame chicken and chicken and broccoli with lo mein noodles. The entire plate was fresh and seasoned with from top and bottom. The chicken was served over the noodles, which made it a bit difficult to eat them until some of the protein was eaten down. Yesterday, my wife and I were looking for a quick lunch (I only get 30 minutes), and between us, we had had our fill of sandwiches. In fact, when she asked what I was hungry for, I said "something I have to eat with a fork." Apparently that narrowed the plethora of restaurants around UAB down to the China Master Express, which sounded good to me. My wife told me she'd call me from the restaurant after she had ordered our food. At approximately 12:15 p.m., my wife called and said she had ordered and was sitting at a table in the back of the restaurant. It took her longer to walk from her office to the restaurant than it took her to order and find a table in the restaurant. When I got to the restaurant about 10 minutes later, one of the ladies was putting our food on the table. We both got sweet and sour chicken and plain fried rice. The portions were ridiculous, and after cleaning my plate, I needed a power nap, but I had to get back to work. :( Like the previous reviewer said, you cannot go wrong with China Master for good Chinese food on the go.
