This place is really lame - SO disappointing! FOOD: The building is pretty and modern looking. But the food is the typical boring, questionable quality stuff that you can find at any one of thousands of local Chinese takeout joints that seem to proliferate everywhere with mediocre, overcooked, soggy, under-seasoned food. The portions are small and expensive. I paid $7.91 for a "medium" Beijing Beef that came in a tiny box that was less than 3 inches wide! (See photo.) What a joke! I hate to see what the "small" size looks like. They must give it to you a thimble. The only redeeming thing I can say is the mystery crust on my Beef Beijing had decent flavor. INDOOR SEATING: I went to the door and I was blocked by the manager. Sorry, no indoor seating, only the drive-through window. I asked him why 99% of the restaurants in Hudson have indoor seating but Panda Express does NOT. He said it's a California based company and it's too complicated to comply with different rules in different states. They're doing it California style. I happen to know that this is a complete load of crap. Does Applebee's (across the highway) have problems with different rules in different states? Of course not! That's what managers are for. And this isn't rocket science. And does McDonald's (about a block away) have difficulty with different protocols in different states? I don't think so. In fact, McDonald's seems to manage with different protocols in completely different COUNTRIES and on completely different continents like in Russia, China, Mexico, and Peru, South America. Panda Express has been good until today and then they epically failed. The server couldn't hear me and when I corrected her, she wasn't very receptive to be corrected. they switched the to-go boxes to smaller sizes. when I got home the food was cold and the rice was undercooked. such a disappointment. read more

I don't usually do yelp reviews but this Hudson location has frustrated me enough to earn one. Their staff is friendly but for some reason they struggle on to go orders. Almost every time I've picked up an order it's been wrong somehow. I'm not sure what it is with their teriyaki chicken but either they forget the sauce or they forget the entire order of chicken... Previously I ordered teriyaki and they gave me no sauce with it which kind of defeats the whole purpose of teriyaki chicken and this is the second time my entree has been completely missed. I ordered a bigger plate (so two entree's come in the clamshell and one in a smaller box) and they just completely left out my teriyaki chicken. (Which like ok I could see that maybe happening if it was on the side and they just missed the little red box but this was in the clamshell! How do you just forget an entire entree that you clearly left a spot for?) The sweet and fire was in the little extra box and when I opened my clamshell to my surprise all that was in there was fried rice and one order of honey sesame chicken and a big open empty spot where my teriyaki should have been. We don't live in Hudson, so by the time we got home to find this it was too late to turn back. Frustrating to pay $11 for something and then only get $8 worth of food. Especially when you get so little actual chicken as it is! On a side note don't waste your time on the Rangoon. They are rubbery, cold, and flavorless. This place is so mismanaged. I frequent it often and seldom are there not issues, ie. the lobby is often closed, they are out of different food items, out of ice, out of cups. It's seldom you see the same face - there turnover is tremendous. I travel all over the country and I frequent Pandas everywhere. I don't run into the same issues at these other locations. This place is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me. I rarely dine in. It's usually the late night after a long hike and I'm craving chinese, that I hit it. My usual is the honey walnut shrimp with rice. Last night they made a booboo and gave me the lo mein noodles instead and I actually liked that more. Their fried rice is a little tasteless but the noodles are very flavorful. I love the chicken potstickers and cream cheese wontons too but they are extra calories I don't need. Pricing is reasonable. It's $6 for a bowl ($1.25 upcharge for shrimp). Plenty of food for me. The inside is a little sterile so it's not really a great place for dining in, thus the drive through. Service is usually pretty good. I saw, what I assumed was the manager named Jesse and he was very unprofessional. He acted very annoyed that I wanted my order corrected and was even yelling at employees while I was right there. The worst restaurant experience I've ever had. My husband and I ordered via delivery about an hour and half before close. After waiting nearly an hour (20min estimated wait time), I got a notification saying that our food was delivered...but it was nowhere to be found. After calling Panda Express, they said that they do not deliver and that there must've been some confusion. This was clearly not the case, as they advertise and allowed us to go through with payment via delivery on their website, so we drove to the location to either receive our food or get a refund. They would not give us either and claimed that they were closing and that we needed to leave. I called and spoke to the manager and she said that there was nothing that she could do because it was the next day. Mind you, we were pushed out of the building the night before and told to call back tomorrow. I went thru the drive-thru to pickup a couple items for a small crowd at my house and much to my disappointment---they were out of several items. They did not seem too empathetic about it either. This Panda Express is not one of the better stores. The servings are smaller and the food is lower quality than the other stores. Panda Express in general is very good but this store isn't. We are regulars and love going to the other locations but please avoid this one. The sweet fire chicken wasn't spicy and tasted like a saucy chicken nugget. The chow mein was greasy and I've had it before and this was much different. They were out of white rice and Teriyaki chicken.The Beijing beef was over cooked and only half the pieces had sauce on it, the dish only had a couple vegetables and was not like how it is at the other locations. Ate there while on vacation as it was close to the hotel. Service: It was ok, but you order and pick up your own food. Not much service to be had. Cleanliness: Restaurant was clean and free of debris and trash. Floors were clean and not slippery like some. Food: Food was about on par with other Panda's. We make an alternative choice and then she come back to tell us that the cook steppes outside before making 2 of the three entrees that we ordered. So, let's start out by saying I should not be eating at Panda Express. I should be diligently making my dinner at home---but whatever. I enjoy partaking in drive thru especially after a long day. So, there I was. Price - reasonable Menu - Good variety, not overwhelming, although the choices of sides looked a bit confusing but I figured it out Food - I ordered the brocolli and beef after trying it for the first time at P.F. Changs and loving it---it wasn't as great here, obviously you get what you expect, but it was still pretty good. I had the bowl with brown rice and I was pleasantly suprised by the brown rice. It was cooked to perfection and nutty just how I like it. The sauces were good and my fortune cookies told me strange things like they always do! Customer service - Standard, efficient, nothing special Ambience - let's be honest here --- a drive thru is a drive thru. So, I had a good experience and the fact that Panda Express even has a drive thru allows me to expand my options from McDonalds and Taco Bell! One more thing to note --- there is a Leann Chin Drive thru directly next to the Panda Express. Not sure what I think about that. read more
