As a Livingston resident, it's been years since I come to this panda express. Last time I was here the noodles were not cooked properly. I decided to give this panda another chance today. I ordered chow mein, orange chicken, and sweet fire chicken. When I arrived to my house, I opened the plate, and it was the skimpiest Portion of food ever there was so little chowmain n chiken. I was in shock! This is the reason I never come to this one. I was thinking about calling and making a complaint about this, but I decided to just leave it at that. Horrible customer service every single time it never fails. Drive through order turns into a 25 wait in front parking and all to still get the incorrect order. Complained and tried to get my order correct but was just left standing in front of the register with nobody trying to help. No manager was present so no accountability. I went drive through and ordered a bigger plate. Cashier was very fast to rush my order so I could make it to the next window. Didn't think much until I parked my car and my order was wrong. If I could give this place no stars I would. I have been here 5 times during the past 4 months. And it gets worse every time. Please have management train again at how to properly run an establishment. I have had full orders missing. I've gone through the drive through and waited up to 25 minutes for two plates of food. The always run out of food and have you wait or will tell you at the window we ran out constantly. If you do come here ALWAYS check your food. You will be missing items wether it be sauces, entrees, straws or napkins! Something will always be missing. Panda Express Livingston is pretty good. The drive thru moved surprisingly fast for a Panda Express. The staff isn't always the friendliest, so that's why 4 stars instead of 5. AWFUL!! How does this Panda Express mess up a standardized and original dish? We ordered the plate with the original orange chicken and chow mein! The orange chicken had no discernible sweetness at all. So, the strongest flavor that came up was a strong citrus sourness. The chow mein noodles had no discernible salt taste (not even soy sauce). This is odd because the teriyaki chicken tasted fine. I will sure to never return here in the future. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. The people taking the orders talk too fast and don't seem to listen to what you tell them. You end up correcting the order, and it's stiff iffy whether or not you'll get what you ordered. The last two times we've been there they've been out of white rice, and fried rice. They had no chow mien the previous visit either. They offered brown rice, but it wasn't done, it was hard. Their food is always cold. Half the time you don't get what you've ordered. Livingston has somewhat limited choices when it comes to places to eat. So I was happy when I found out they were getting a Panda Express, one more choice to choose from. There were a few people in front of me when I walked in, but the line moved relatively quickly. The employees were both friendly and efficient. The dining area had ample comfortable seating, and it was clean. I had the orange chicken, Peking pork, and fried rice. It was decent (typical Panda Express) but nothing outstanding. However I am happy to have another lunch time choice. I will be back and will work the place into my lunch rotation. read more

Once again this panda has failed! Its disgusting how they can serve us customers raw food! This chow main was still cold , raw and in a ball , the fact that the cook let this go and not only that the worker serving this food serve this and let this leave the kitchen is disgusting and in a KIDS MEALS! Now I know why this place has 1 star and most people say they would give 0 if it was available. We went thru the drive thru and ordered 2 plates, 1 half and half with orange and teriyaki, one with all chow mein, orange and teriyaki. When we got home, we find out that the chow mein was 75% veggies and 25% noodles... if that... the orange chicken had vegetables under and the same with the teriyaki which only had 4 pieces, yes, 4 pieces of teriyaki. Of course with the vegetables under, it looked like a big portion. If you don't have enough food to complete the order say so..don't waste people's time, most likely we will wait for fresh food or order something else if we are in a hurry, but don't be sneaky, that is bad business. The last time I had Panda Express was in high school. I used to love this place. Not sure if it's this location in particular or the fact that I'm older and have more refined taste but my recent lunch here was not great. Of particular disappointment was the String Bean Chicken Breast. This was listed as a "Wok Smart" option but did not taste healthy AT ALL. The chicken bits, while potentially actually from the breast, resembled scrap, throw-away type pieces with hard bits of tendon mixed in. Maybe it was low calorie but it was not appetizing. I also got the Honey Walnut Shrimp and veggies as a side. Both were good and up to my Panda Express standards. Basically just do not get the String Bean Chicken Breast. And this is Panda so have lower expectations overall. read more

I love Panda! Naturally, I got super excited it was coming to our little home town in Livingston. I've been here maybe 4-5 times and every time has been a less than desirable experience. I waited 18 minutes, no one in line, no one inside the restaurant, and they made me wait in the parking lot for my 2 Entree and crispy shrimp. If you go to Panda Express in Livingston, you MUST check your plate before you get out of the restaurant, chances are, they got it wrong!! Had the worst experience to date at Panda Express today. I stood in front of the counter for about 10 minutes and was never acknowledged or even told the accustomed "we'll be right with you" all of the staff were running around taking orders and trying to fill up the empty food containers unsuccessfully. While I was waiting, a girl came in with a plate because she had gotten her order wrong. When it was my turn to order, I ordered a plate with chowmein and double orange chicken. the young woman that helped me had a rude attitude and told me that I would have to wait for the orange chicken because they were all out at the moment. I waited along with two other families.... about 10 minutes later we got our plate and left since our order was to-go. When we got home, we opened the plate and it had chow main and only one side of orange chicken, one of the sides in the plate (which was supposed to be orange chicken as well) was missing. In the past I've had teriyaki sauce, or sweet and sour sauce missing, but never a whole item. The staff is often more interested in having fun and laughing and joking around amongst themselves than actually having food in the pans and paying attention to the customers' orders. read more

Double check your order before you leave the drive thru - the manager & crew members will be hostile & unhelpful on the phone if you call them 10 minutes later to report a problem and likely will only offer a replacement for the incorrect item even if you aren't going to eat the meal you received. Great food this was the best Chinese food we have had in a long time. Great service and no lines they took our order right away.

Horrible is all I can say I have given them numerous chances but ever time they disappoint me ! Portions are less then any other Panda and you can't even tell witch plate is witch looks like the food has been cooked days before . Some of the meet will be dried out and some will be rare , don't even have words about the chow main and the rice ! so sad that Atwater would allow this to happen !!!!! read more

Management is a fail at this location. The food is horrible. Food is cold and hard. Always make you park to wait for food while in drive thru. I asked why and the associate said because we have to have you out of drive thru in less then 3 mins. No I said I'll wait right here, at which they threaten to cancel my order if I don't want to park. So I stayed parked waiting for food for 16mins!!! No utensils or fortune cookies with order. After driving back for them Associate states in California it's against the law to put utensils in bag. And said I was supposed to scan the QR code with my camera while driving!! I'm a fan of Panda Express but for some reason at this location the food is not up to expectations. I've had chow mein with plain noodles (looks like they didn't take the time to thoroughly mix the finished product). On another occasion I had Beijing beef that was overcooked and again not mixed well. The service is a hit and miss, meaning sometimes it's good and other times it's terrible. You would think that management would train their servers better. Maybe corporate/regional needs to make a surprise visit to this location???? read more
