The last few times we ordered from this place the Orange chicken was all dough. This time it was the same, mostly dough, hardly any chicken. Also got the Teriyaki chicken, no sauce was added, noticed when I got home. The fried rice was dry and the husband was not a fan of the noodles this time. Very disappointed. Raised the price about another $7 than what I paid for the exact same thing last time. Waste of my hard earned money. The first person did not seem to be happy to be there at all. I was blocked by a woman filling something out at the register. Someone had to ask her to move out of the way. Before I went inside a homeless guy asked me for some money for him to get some food. I said I didn't. Should have given him my food if I knew how bad it was. The fast food industry has gone down hill. I would rather go to Mom's in the Linda area but they are only open for Breakfast and Lunch. Do not recommend eating at Panda. Possibly the new one going in the Linda area will be just as bad if they get their food from the same distributor. I wouldn't want to eat inside either. Two thumbs . read more

Shrimp was greasy and terrible tasting. Chicken egg rolls were good as was the steamed rice and Bejing beef. Called to discuss poor food quality with the manager. This woman has no clue. Beyond the initial query Breanna was useless, rude and repeatedly unwilling to put me in touch with the owner or her boss. Like an AI bot she kept saying over and over she was the manager and completely refused to pass on my message. her solution was to bring the food back for a redo, so drive 15 miles back to her store and I have to bring the uneaten food with me like I would call to complain about bad food while eating the same food. Hopefully this store can find someone more suitable for customer service. Breanna is so terrible anyone would be better. This location is clean. I went for lunch and all the entrees looked fresh and the wait time was not too long. The customer service was kind, our food was even brought over to our table. read more

Not sure why so many bad reviews but for my experience I was greeted with a smiling face, her name was Jane and she had great customer service let me try a couple things before making my decision so those of you who are wanting to make sure before buying just try before you buy. Jane also gave me very big portions of everything as I went in thinking it would be smaller portions from previous reviews, definitely not the case with me. They also had a promo for another side of orange chicken for only 1.50 had to take that as well left with enough food for a couple days. My food was very delicious as I did try it before buying. Ambiance was very clean and sanitary. All I can say is go in and if you get Jane you'll definitely be taken care of, will definitely be coming back hopefully she is still working when I do. read more

Of course, you/I still need to pick just 3 of those... which... can be an issue. I do wish they had a few less of the options I do not typically care for, and a few more of ones I prefer (like Mushu Beef/Chicken) maybe some Hunan and/or Szechuan. We have been going here for years now, and walk in, see what we like and order it. Service has always been decent to good. Restaurant has always been clean, and the food quality has been consistant over the years. We like the ideas of being able to see what you order. We dont go in at closing time and expect to get everything or take chances with online orders. This restaurant seems to have a bunch of poor reviews related to customer service but lets get to the food! Went in Fri at 1pm, small line...lots of fresh stuff. Tried the sesame chicken which was very good, with Beijing beef, and my wife had her fav orange chicken bowl. Broccoli pieces are a bit too big but always have been. If we were a bit hungrier or eating at home I would have gotten some of the delicious rangoons with sweet and sour sauce. read more

This is a pretty decent Panda Express. It has the usual hit-or-miss Panda issues like long waits at lunchtime and not so crispy orange chicken during off-peak times. But when the orange chicken is fresh, it's great. This location does not have a drive thru, and the restroom was clean but code-protected. The area around it has the rough but trying to be up and coming feel. The odd layout of the parking lot is frustrating for drivers, and add to that a Starbucks with a drive thru line that frequently stretches out into the parking lot. read more

Arianna had to be corrected for my brother in laws bowl when he went in to order carry out. The manager (a kind Asian lady) told her to add more. Unfortunately my sister in laws bowl wasn't inspected because the meat crumbles she received sent her to tears (she's 9 months pregnant due any day now) . Arianna needs to be trained better on portions sizes because the 9.70 spent on the 3 crumbs of beef plus the 20 min drive to the location and the 20 minute drive back totally just made this the worst place to order from. We usually come in to order but he went by himself and definitely got robbed, now we have to find another place she's willing to eat from. The cabbage to noodle ratio was off as well. I like their food, but there's a worker there that does not do public relations. I had called to cancel/change my order, because there was no way to cancel it online. The person I spoke to said she had fixed it. When I picked up my order it was the original order I had placed. I told the worker that I had called and changed my order and she got very upset. I heard a lot of pans dropping to the floor around the corner where she was, good thing the nice worker helped me. She fixed my order real quick, but I didn't get the fortune cookies because she had to switch bags and did it quickly. But the worker that was upset and made all that noise around the corner should be fired. She was pretty rude. read more

I placed a mobile order for pickup. I saw shelves near the register for pickup orders and walked toward them to see if my order was there. The cashier glared at me and snapped "I'll be with you in a minute, sir," like I was trying to steal food. I was surprised and taken aback, and stepped back from the shelves. I'm not new to Panda Express, I have also gone to Passadena and dined at the Panda Inn many times when we lived in Monrovia. This is the last time I go to this Panda Express in Marysville. We were Greeted with respect and quickly. At this time no customers were there. Employees milling around is not a problem if there is no work to be performed, but All tables were dirty and garbage on the floor. We had to find a clean table to sit down at. We sat and ate our meal and watched employees milling around. Yes their was no costumers except for my daughter and I at this time. One employee ( Diego ) was picking at the prepared food and eating it with his non gloves hand while another employee was flirting with him. The manager on duty was in the process of hiring a new employee. The manager made a comment that she had to find an area to conduct the hiring process due to all the tables being dirty. After a little bit an employee started to clean the tables but did a poor job at it. This employee barely wiped the tables and wiped most of the garbage onto the floor. Eventually she swept up the mess. I don't know how much money is being paid to the employees, but Ca minimum is $15.00 per hour. This is way to much for the quality of work Panda Express gets from their employees. Not to mention the experience and amount of money the customers pay for the meal and service. Not a problem if the employees hustle for the Company and Customers. Yuba City panda is a lot better in cleaning and customer service. read more

I arrived at Panda Express in Marysville Ca. at 9:30, they close at 10:00, I stood waiting as the staff cleaned, swept, and did dishes. 7 minutes or so later I was approached by a very rude staff person and she made it a point to tell me there wasn't much left. I'm not sure who's cooking the Orange Chicken, lately, but there is enough chili powder on it to choke a horse. But now that I'm in a different location and prego with my third child... I've actually grown to like their food. Okay, I'm not a typical fast food eater...in fact, I don't do fast food except for this place and Costa Vida in Yuba City. I have NEVER had a bad experience at Panda Express--NEVER!!! My food is always hot, the service is nice (they're friendly), and they provide discounts for certain members in the community. The line is almost always long, but get this--it moves FAST! Great service, great food...the only thing they could work on is their dining area cleanliness, but given how many people are in and out of the place every 30mins, I'd rather the employees focus on my food as they do now. WHY did I even try this place again? The food is awful! The egg rolls were rubbery on outside, mushy squishy mess inside, with horrible flavor. The chow mein is near flavorless. The honey walnut shrimp breading was soggy though the walnuts themselves were good. The ONLY good thing about entire meal really was the tiny pieced of walnut. The chicken in the string bean chicken had an odd unpleasant flavor and the orange chicken was tough and did not have the savory sweetness I expect from good orange chicken. The fried rice was not even cooked well. The whole meal was a HUGE waste of money because 95% of it went in the trash and we bought food somewhere else a bit later. That's it. I am done with Panda Express. Been to I don't know how many. They used to be good. I used to enjoy their food. But something had happened in the last couple years and everything has gone down the drain. Normally, my reviews all start out with 5 stars and I take one away for every negative I experience. And I always start out with the positive. But I'm sorry, I have nothing positive to say anymore. Maybe the outside was clean. It probably was but I didn't notice. The simple truth is even thinking about Panda Express now puts a bad taste in my mouth. So let's get to it. This will be not only review my last experience, which was the straw that broke the camels back, but an overall review of the cumulative failure as well. Last night I placed an order using the mobile app. I was approximately 20 minutes from the restaurant so I figured that was more than enough time for a mobile order to be ready. On the way to the restaurant I stopped for gas so that delayed my arrival even more. For those of you reading this in the future, this happened during the Covid-19 quarantine. The county I live in, which is the same county this Panda Express is in, was allowed to open up and most restaurants were allowing dine in guests again. Not here though. Still making the process as awkward as possible. When I did arrive at the restaurant, I noticed they were not allowing customers inside. There were two couples ordering from the main door. You couldn't even go inside to place an order. You stuck your head in the front door and an employee took their order. Other restaurants let you inside at least to place and pick up your order. Not here. By the way, there were on and off showers this day so those wanting to place an order there would be standing out in the rain. Anyway I noticed a group of people around the corner at the side door. After walking over there I figured out that mobile orders and orders placed at the front door were being handed out in this area. An employee would stick out their head and call out a name. The person would grab a bag off of the tray and hope it was correct since you did not get to watch everything being prepared. An employee asked my name and went back inside. I then waited while those arriving before me were given their food and they left. This is about 25 minutes after placing, and paying for, my order over the mobile app. I then watched as the 2 couples who placed their orders in person as I was walking to the waiting area were given their food and leaving. 2 more couples came and left before an employee asked for my order number. After showing her the order confirmation screen, that showed the confirmation number and restaurant the order was placed to, she copied down the number and went back inside. That was the last I heard from them. After doing a double shift, being up for almost 24 hours and waiting for almost 30 minutes I just wanted to go home. I drove to the Jack in the Box across the street without my Panda order and went home. The final insult was when I called on the way home to complain to a supervisor and no one answered the phone. Wait, I guess the real final insult was sending a complaint email to their customer service department and never hearing anything back. So when you combine the burnt food from a different Panda the time before and this experience I am done. By the way, both plates, all items including the spring rolls were burnt. Not even close to edible. Threw both plates away. Sent a complaint then too and never heard back. It is obvious that Panda Express doesn't give one thought of their customers. I can go inside when I buy gas but not at Panda Express. I can speak to a supervisor at other businesses but not there. I placed a mobile order like they recommend but somehow my order obviously got lost so that didn't work out for me. And based on everything their customer service department must be sheltering in place because I have not heard word one. So, no. Not going to any Panda Express anywhere again. I've been to better Pandas. The white rice was over cooked and seemed almost stale. The past few times I've been here the chicken has seems to be more awful each time. Quality of food here has really gone down in the last couple years. The chow mein is almost always undercooked and has no flavor. The fried rice is also lacking flavor. The sides are hit or miss. Usually I get the orange chicken, grilled teriyaki or sweet fire chicken. The few times I've gotten broccoli beef it was good however they always skimp you on the beef. I've given them chance after chance this year and each time I'm still disappointed with the lack of flavor in their food. Customer service is usually pretty decent, but that alone doesn't save it for me. Guess it's time to just stop coming here for a while which is unfortunate because it used to be really good for not so authentic Chinese food. Fix the problems in the kitchen and maybe one day I'll be back to give it another try. Update: Decided to give it another try and yet again disappointed. This time it's because we had ordered online at 3:50pm today and our order was supposed to be ready by 4:10pm. My husband got there on time to pick it up but it was not ready yet. 30 minutes go by and he's STILL WAITING. This is absolutely unacceptable. Found hair in my fried rice that I had ordered from catering with them on Sunday which was my baby shower, and I found it last night so I called today since they were no longer opened when I found it and because I didn't call the day of they won't refund my order just give me more food. I don't want more food especially since I know now how dirty it is. I'm pregnant and shouldn't have to worry about what's in my food. And even though it was catering I know it wasn't any of my guests hair cause they don't have black curly hair. This is DISGUSTING I'll never eat here again read more

I usually am happy with them but today I went through the drive thru they told me a 5 minute wait so I waited... 20 minutes. I was on a phone call so I wasn't aware it was that long until I looked at me receipt. I walked in and they had completely forgot about me. They offered me a second one for free and I'm like I won't even be able to eat this one now. They insisted on giving something for my trouble so I took a power-aid drink just so they would calm down. I was so mad and had to miss my lunch break today, so thanks for nothing. The plain white rice was hard, the brown rice was stale and stuck together, and the other dishes were just mediocre, at best. The worst part about my experience was that I felt sick the next day after eating here the night before.
