Decided to try some chinese food tonight. It's been a long time since i sat in a traditional setting instead of eating at panda express. Dragon Inn is close to home, and their menu contained duck, which is what i was interested in. The interior of the restaurant is quite dated, but I don't think the owners care. I ordered the crispy duck along with a chicken chow mein and some diet coke. I also asked for some sweet and sour sauce on the side for dipping. The duck was crispy but tough and the consistency of the meat was mixed between tender meat, soft gelatinous fat and some dark soft contents. I utilized the sweet and sour sauce to its fullest. The chow mein was greasy but fine. The service was ok, however the owner at the front was more concerned with her calculations than watching her customers to see if they needed anything. i took a picture of her in a pose she held for about 10 mins straight. Maybe i should have told her that computers have been invented. 3 stars from me. i now remember why i rarely visit this place. read more

The food comes out FAST and it's very hot and fresh, the lunch for 2 + drinks was about $40, and the portions were insane, about 2 full to go boxes left after lunch, so I think it's a great value. Servers are usually pretty kind, and it's clean despite being pretty outdated. read more

We ordered house fried rice, deep fried crispy chicken wings, egg plants in sweet n tangy sauce, veggie stir fry with BBQ pork over crunchy noodles. Sauce was garlic gravy not dark soy sauce and we really enjoyed it. If you grew up with Asian granny, you would like their food. read more

Staying in the hotel next door, my family and I wanted to try this place for dinner. We walked there since it's so close! Plenty of private booths and seating. We tried one of the family meals and ordered drinks. Service was great and the food came out fast. Out of everything we had - the pork fried rice and wontons were the BEST! Wow!!!! Is all I can say. Panda Express was closed we wanted Chinese food. 3 of us. We walked in we weren't greeted at all. We were looked at like we stepped into somewhere we weren't supposed to be. We were told only to go. Fair enough. As we were placing our order we were told no pot stickers as they would take too long. No big deal right ? A group of 4 walked in behind us just said 4 and sat down. They were greeted with soup and asked what they wanted to drink... WTH... I asked so we can eat here then ? She rolled her eyes said yes so we sat down. We weren't given soup like the other she just walked over tossed tap water in front of us never said a word. Never asked what we wanted to drink. Mind you the group of 4 that came in AFTER US TRESTED LIME ROYALTY. Not that it should matter we are white the group of 4 middle eastern. As I write this we wait with water ... the group of 4 that came in after ... they are already eating . Worst service hoping the food makes up for it....nope food is horrible. Brought us pot stickers orange chicken and sweet n sour I asked if they had pot sticker dipping sauce she said just dip it in the chili sauce and walked away. Pot stickers were thick and get this ... RAW !! Not a little bit pink and dripping cold wetness WTH The table that came in after us guess what ? They got pot sticker and dipping sauce. If we were disrespectful or something I could see the lack of service we came in just looking to try this place hoping for a good Chinese food experience and got treated like we were inconvenience. Worst experience in a restaurant. My wife and I went in there last week. The owner was extremely rude and unpleasant. My wife is vegetarian and wanted to ask few questions. The owner was not interested in answering anything and actually spoke to my wife in rude manner. Completely unacceptable and we got up and left. Never to return ever. Do not recommend. You know there was some good things and some not so good things. The meal with tip was $98 to feed 4 people...to me $25 a person for just ok Chinese food hurts my soul. The good and crave worthy 1) the honey walnut shrimp was excellent if you like the sweet mayo version 2) the peeking spare ribs were on point. They had great flavor and were not dry The OK 3) the potstickers were just fine wish they would of been served with sauce 4) the beef chow fun was decent the meat had a lot of flavor and the noodles were ok. I would say it was good just not crave worthy The not so great 5) the kung pow shrimp was weird and not great flavoring. It was everyone's least favorite dish. 6) orange chicken had big chunks but sadly the pieces were dry and the flavor was just so-so. 7) the Singapore fried rice -which is a curried flavored rice. I tried this place 6 years ago and it was just awful. We thought since it's under new management we would give it another try. We went for lunch and the restaurant was fairly busy. Inside it was bright and clean and the wait staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered hot and sour soup, beef chow mein and beef with mixed vegetables. The soup was just ok, the chow mein was very greasy and the other dish was slimy, that's the best way to describe it; it had some sort of coating on it which made It quite unappetizing in one's mouth. There was a noticeable absence in all 3 dishes of any spices or seasonings; the food was bland. We wasted $45 that day on crap food. We didn't eat the food and we will not be returning here ever again. Worst Chinese food in the area read more

It is a shame that the owner is so rude because the food is decent. The sign on the door says OPEN. Yelp says open until 9pm. We walked in at 8:25pm and she said, I won't serve you unless you can eat in 30 minutes. This is not the first time she's been rude. For goodness sakes, if you intend to close early just change your hours and save us the trip. read more

We love this place. Classic old style Chinese restaurant. Quiet no music. Our favorites are the Honey Walnut Shrimp and the birds nest. We also enjoy their pork buns. The shrimp always has a great flavor. Definitely recommend dine in to takeout. Service is always much better that way. We take our kids and they have been very nice about it. Don't just assume they know what you want. Straight up ask if you want more water a box of leftovers ect. read more

We came in at 8:30 , they close at 9pm. We were told we could not eat in the restaurant because it was too late---- only "to- go" orders accepted until 9pm. I guess they don't wait on tables after 8:15 because you may not be done eating by 9pm. We just wanted sesame chicken and rice. Just 2 of us ladies. read more

First time here in years. Used to love this place but it had gone down and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it. It's an all new staff from before and they were running. Very busy on a Tuesday night which is always a good sign. I don't know how many times I said mmm throughout dinner as the food was just tasty. The dinning room was much brighter with new flooring. I am originally from the Bay Area and I have been coming here since I moved this way towards Yuba City. Their Chinese food is as good as it's gonna get over here in Yuba City. Not a lot of good restaurants or food...but this one is good staff is cool. We will continue to come here. read more
