I ordered a pound of crawfish and it was nearly 35 dollars! for one pound! I got the food to go and when I arrived the restaurant smelled horrible, I know it's a seafood restaurant but it smelled like literal poop, not fish. The restaurant seemed dirty and uncleanly both in the inside and out. The lady who I picked up my order from was nice but the food was just unbearable. The sauce/seasoning was fine but the crawfish meat was tuff and rubbery and discolored. The fat from the crawfish is supposed to be an orangish-yellow color and this crawfish was green and it looked repulsive. I had to throw it out it was practically inedible and I felt like i'd get sick if I ate it. I can tell that crawfish was cooked dead and was probably sitting there dead for a while before it was cooked. read more

I was staying at a local AirBNB, so I decided to "DoorDash it." The food came quick, and was still hot. I started with the singapore vermicelli noodles with shrimp, onions, bean sprouts, and scrambled eggs, in a curry sauce. It also comes with bell peppers, which I asked them to leave off, and I asked for the sauce to be mild. The food was delicious! The noodles were perfectly done, there was a good amound of all of the ingredients, and everything was cooked perfectly. The curry sauce had a very mild spice, which was perfect for me. It was just a little bit salty for my personal taste, but not overly so. I do realize that everybody's tastes are different. For desert, I ordered six of the Jin Dui. Sesame donut balls, filled with a sweet bean paste. They were excellent. Not overfried, and the filling was delicious. Not too sweet. I had enough food for 2 full meals. We had a seafood boil, and I have to say that although it was ok, it wasn't as good as Captain Crab in Sac. And for the money we spent, we feel it was a little short on value. The Cajun seasoning was good, though my husband found it lacking. They didn't clean the shrimp, so I wouldn't eat that. The crab was decent. The clams and mussels were tiny. Went in on a Sunday around 6pm. Had heard great things about this place, but honestly it was okay. My friend and I were the only ones dining in, but we could see a lot of pick up orders were being placed. I got a pound of shrimp, mild Cajun and lemon pepper with some sausage plus a Model and paid $32. My friend got a pound of shrimp, mild Cajun and lemon pepper with corn and potatoes with a Sprite and paid $28. Our order came fairly quick and we noticed that we didn't get any limes. When we asked the server he said it was $1 per lime which I thought was ridiculous, but I understand inflation. The restaurant itself was pretty clean and quiet. Not sure that I would come back for the seafood boil, but maybe try to try some of their other items. read more

Nice little cozy restaurant where you'd least expect it. In a corner full of gas stations and a tire shop this gem sits screaming your name! Promptly greeted as I entered I must say the server was a delight. From the moment she took our order until the end of our delicious meal she kept coming back and checking on us! Wow! 10/10, their food is insanely good! My friends and I stopped in for lunch and had their: garlic noodle, honey walnut shrimp, Szechuan chicken and their wontons in hot sesame oil. Friendly staff and good prices! I have been to a few boiling seafood restaurants, but never one with family style Chinese food mixed in. The combination is interesting but the star of the show is definitely the noodle and rice dishes. I enjoyed it and will be back when I am in the area. read more

6/2/23 Our family who lives in Yuba City always goes here and recommended it and so we went and oh my goodness amazing. Let's just start out that this place is bomb. The food was outstanding as you can see from the pictures the portions are huge. These were lunch specials for dinner basically instead of just getting individual ones. You can see how massive they are. Obviously we had some to take home. I finished all of mine Tho lol. The kung Pao beef with lo mein noodles was so good so flavorful the meat was just perfect. Everything about it was delicious I highly recommend it. My cousin got the Mongolian beef which I tried, and the flavor on it was amazing highly recommend. We ordered orange chicken for my son, and it was crispy and flavorful he loved it and I tried It was excellent as well. I did not try the shrimp and broccoli, but just like everything else I will say it probably was amazing my cousin always gets that and loves it. Not pictured, which I can't believe I did not get a pic is the honey walnut shrimp. Now, this one is a tough one in most places, I used to go to a place in LA that made some of the best, honey walnut shrimp, and I have not been able to find a place that did it like them till now. This place knocked it out of the park. It was so so good now I wish I had some right now. The crispy salt and pepper chicken wings were just right just enough heat on them too and very good . My wife got the lemon chicken, which was very good. The lemon was perfect. The chicken was crispy. Have nothing bad to say about any of the food it was just outstanding. Had Thai iced tea as well delicious. The service was amazing. Quick efficient and food came out nice and hot. Excellent. The ambience of the place is very simple. Plenty of seating it looked like they might have had an outside seating area, but I can't say yes or no on that for sure. We ordered Garlic Noodles, Salt and Pepper Fish, and a combo meal that had Curry Beef and Fried Rice. We paid $45.31. They are generous with their servings and it's packed with flavor. Based on a friend's recommendation, I gave Steaming Seafood Restaurant a try. It was very good and tasty. I have the Mushroom Beef and my friend had Kung Pao Beef. The beef was very tender and the vegetables were not mushy. The staff is very friendly. We'll definitely be back. read more

I'm going to have to give 3 stars because I ordered two pounds of the mussels (without looking at the photos nor reading the reviews) only to find tiny little mussels. If I knew this, I would have gone to Walmart and grabbed a $5 bag of mussels and made it myself. I have not been to a seafood boil restaurant where they use cheap little mussels like this. Went there tonight for Dungeness Crab. The food was great, and the service was awesome.

I haven't tried the seafood but the Chinese food is pretty good. Give it a try, I haven't got anything I didn't like.

I got the seafood boil here and it's absolutely disgusting. I couldn't taste cajun or garlic in my food it just tasted like absolute sh*t! They were stingy with corn and sausage (which is disgusting cheap hotdogs not even sausage) just filled up or boil with disgusting overcooked shrimp. They nickel and dime you for every little thing even lemons... the service is terrible. The server seemed like a jerk. They don't even offer you water. Wasted $100 for a stomach ache.
