Worst panda we've been to in a long time. They were out of a lot of things. I asked for teriyaki chicken, and they said there was no more. They offered to give me the prepackaged chicken that you can see in the pic, which was there when we walked in and waited in line for about 10 mins. I said no, and after we paid, they took it out of the boxes and put it back in the pan. The wife got 4 pieces of chicken in her bowl, and the rice was way overcooked. Went to this location for the first time today and the service was the worst i have ever experienced. Sat in the drive thru for 8 minutes with no one coming. Went inside and waited for 10 minutes before anyone even said hello. Finally walked out and went back to the drive thru because I realized they were running those orders but ignoring the people standing in their face. I don't have crazy expectations at a fast food restaurant and I live in Chicago so I understand having to wait but the lack of customer service is orb the wait? Today I went through drive thru and received the smallest serving of fried rice and lo mein with my meal. You can even see differences with past meals I have posted from previous visits to same location. My kids were like, mom we have to go through again and order more that's not enough. So we did just that. I asked lady working drive thru and she told me it was portioned out. I commented it's the smallest portion we've ever received and she said well last time they probably over portioned it. I replied but I've been coming here for 3 years atleast once a month and there's always been large portions until today. For now we will pass on this location. Already stopped including napkins over year ago but When you skimp on the cheap stuff, you know it's just headed downhill from there. It went from napkins to main entree now to sides. My Wife picked up one dinner order, waited 23 minutes at the drive through wile people left, went into the store screaming at the manager, and others were backed up at the drive through all because one employee gave out the wrong order to the wrong people and it made a mockery. When my Wife parked and went in the worker said we are so sorry we don't have enough Kung Pao Chicken so I am giving you an order of something else. My Wife called me while there waiting and I called the store, the manager answers as "hello" I said is this Panda Express? He said "yes!" I told him my concern and he explained that a worker gave out the wrong food and they are working to correct all the backlog of problems it caused. He apologized. I asked what he was doing to recover service since my Wife had been there over 20 minutes now and he said I can give her a coupon for a free meal next visit. I said that's horrible! Sorry can't get lower than 1. This place is unbelievable. I have to have food delivered. Panda Express adds to each thing you buy, charges a service fee and a 5.99 delivery fee. When I could drive I went there a lot. BUT their prices have increased, the portions are a lot smaller and the food is awful! I wouldn't buy anything else from this place on a bet! read more

Waiting for a refund of $154 for a week for a catering order ... My daughter's favorite food is panda express. as such, i ordered it for her birthday party, because it is what she asked for. the website would, at first, not allow me to place the order. so i called in and spoke to a woman who told me to stop by the store and place the order via a written ticket. as this seemed suspicious, i waited until the next day and placed the order online as it now was allowed. the store never opened, never contacted me about my order, and has been closed for 5 days now "due to gas leak." i have been waiting since 8/13/22 for a refund of $154 that even corporate is giving me the run-around over. read more

Just went through the drive through and experienced the rudest person. Her name was Alex or Alexa.. it was hot and my car had the air on high. I placed my card in the reader and she kept rolling her eyes and jerking the machine back. I told her she was rude and she responded which you couldn't hear because of the mask. She failed to put the lid on correctly and the large tea dumped all over me. I went inside to clean up and she was mocking me as I walked out of the bathroom.. The immature employee will never have the chance to wait on me again. Yes I have been in food service before- yes I am a working professional. No one should ever treat a customer that way. Pretty much Chinese fast food. Counter style, service. Not extensive like a Chinese Buffet but several choices. What you would expect in a mall food court or airport concourse only in a stand alone building. I had the 2 entrée plate, Orange Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken. Both were good. I thought the Orange Chicken was very good. Egg Rolls were below average. The Crab Dumplings looked good. Would probably try them over the Egg Roll next time. I had the two meats w Fried Rice, an Egg Roll and a bottle of Pepsi for $11.50 with tax, no tip given the cafeteria style service. Overall, pretty good Chinese food for the money and super fast. I ate there twice in two weeks because it was convenient to where I was working and pretty good. I wouldn't drive a long ways just to eat here. People were super friendly and smiled, which is getting rare these days. I would not hesitate to go there, just realize that it is food court Chinese served cafeteria style. read more

This is our favorite Panda Express location. My husband and I have been to other locations, even out of state, and this one just never seems to do us wrong. We love to go hear at least two nights a week for an affordable date night out dinner. There's a reason everyone orders orange chicken..It's amazing! One star because while the taste never disappoints, it never fails that when I go there Im always told it will be a 7-9 minute wait for beijing beef. Every single time. Today it was a 7 minute wait on the beijing beef and they asked if I wanted to substitue it for something else. I said okay I'll try the sweet fire chicken. His response; "Well actually, the sweet fire chicken doesn't look very good. Anything else? Oh never mind I guess we do have the beijing beef for the second part of your order." I said great okay that's what I want. I also asked to add two egg rolls to the order and was told it would absolutely be 8 minutes on the egg rolls because they only had one. Went to this location for 1st time, ordered the shrimp special but they didn't have it or they were thawing it. I also ordered an egg roll but they were just making more. I was in line for a bit. When I was up, I never received my drink and a question I had was never answered. Never will I return. Hate Newark for this very reason.
