This looked kinda like a fastfood place with Chinese as its theme. Very clean and the staff was very helpful. As you enter there is a flowing tv screen displaying each dish, pausing long enough to help with your decision. Customers, like me, need a visual. The process they use is cafeteria style with about 15 selections. Everything is labeled and you choose, they scoop it up for you. And there are a variety of plate sizes. It was really hard to make up my mind. I ended up with the Honey Walnut shrimp and fried rice. Everything was cooked perfectly and lots of flavor, i will definately order this again. We stopped by this Panda Express location last Friday evening for dinner to break up our longer drive. I didn't have to wait in line for too long to get my food, which was warm and fresh. I got the PLATE (2 entrees + 1 side) and I loaded it up with Beef and Broccoli, Chicken with String Beans, and Spring Mix. The Spring Mix was the "side" but it took up half of the take-out box. I was looking for vegetables, so the Spring Mix did its job. It's on the blander side with not a whole lot of seasoning or flavor, but at least the vegetables were green and fresh, not brown and sad. The two entrees had a lot more flavor, maybe too much cornstarch in the sauce for my liking. These were also pretty vegetable heavy and not a lot of meat. Overall, our experience at this Panda Express was just OK. My stomach felt bloated after the food too, even though I ate mostly vegetables. The server even asked if I was vegetarian when she was scooping my food. Probably the most vegetables she's seen anyone order at Panda Express, haha. read more

I'd never been to Panda Express and felt the need to see what it was all about, even though all the people I know who eat there have absolutely no palates. I can cut you some slack for trying it once, so you can have a personal experience to draw upon when people talk about it, but to go there all the time? To look forward to going there? I don't understand. There are millions of Chinese take out spots scattered around this country, why would you go to Panda Express? My mother insisted that she liked hers. She got the Honey Walnut Shrimp (Large tempura-battered shrimp, wok-tossed in a honey sauce and topped with glazed walnuts) with white rice. I don't know why anyone would order plain white rice, but she was like, "I LOVE sticky rice!!" This wasn't even good sticky rice. She added sweet and sour sauce at the end, which we had to ask for at the counter. My boyfriend got the Beijing Beef (Crispy beef, bell peppers and onions in a sweet-tangy sauce) with fried rice. He said it was the worst fried rice he'd ever had. He and I ended up swapping meals because I absolutely hated mine - Black Pepper Chicken (Marinated chicken, celery and onions in a bold black pepper sauce) WAYYYY too much celery... with "Chow mein" (Stir-fried wheat noodles with onions, celery and cabbage). I'm torn... I love Panda-E... and the staff here seem very nice. But every time we order here there is some issue. On a previous visit to the drive through, we ordered a few items and had to sit in the parking lot for 30 minutes for the 'few minutes' for one item. And of course everything else got cold, so by the time we got home we had one warm item and the rest needed to be microwaved. This most recent visit, the very nice drive through staff member pointed out we could get a discount with the family meal, so she had to do the entire order twice (honestly I would assume you would always get the discount if you order those items but apparently it requires a special sequence). But I watched and she entered it correctly. Along the way she mentioned several items that would have a wait, and so based on our previous experience we chose items that were ready right now. So you can imagine my surprise when I pulled up to the window to pay and she told us we needed to pull around to a parking spot to wait for our order. I was hopeful that it simply was going to take a minute to box up the food, but 20 minutes later we were still waiting. Eventually they brought the order to the car and we opened it and it appeared to be complete, so we went home. I was beyond frustrated to realize when we opened up each individual container that they had messed up the order. We were missing one serving of spring rolls, they had actually given us double of an entree, and a side dish item was missing completely. The difference was probably nothing in terms of monetary value, as entrées are more expensive than side dishes and it probably made up for the missing spring rolls, but it's not about the money... I wanted my actual order. The food is classic Panda-E... deliciously unhealthy. But I will never order from the drive through here again. I will walk inside and watch them assemble my order... and if that doesn't go well I may have to downgrade this review even further. read more

I went to grab something quick in the drive thru. I pulled up and they asked me to wait before I ordered. Add then went to order and they were like oh we don't have that. Oh we don't have this and then they said oh the only things we have are beef and broccoli and a chicken entree. I was at the end of a roadtrip and I knew this Panda Express was on the way home. I went through the drive-thru, ordered a small Orange Chicken and a small Beef Broccoli with a side of rice. This is only the second time I've used a Panda drive-thru, and I've only been to Panda twice in made 5-6 years? The food was decent. The chicken was a bit too chewy, not so fresh. The Beef Broccoli was great. And the white rice, well, if they messed that up that would have been really tragic. Honestly, a great Panda Express location. I've had several entrees from here over the last few months, and all are hot, and tasted as expected. The orange chicken is always crispy. Staff is always friendly, and service is quick and great. Feels safe as there is usually only 1 or 2 other customers in there at a time (they also have a sign limiting it to 10, anyway). This was a delivery order. What they call fried rice I call white rice. I got kung pao chicken and I don't remember it having so many hot peppers in it. The chicken breast I can't remember what type it was was dry and breaded, should have gotten the chicken roll. I suppose the portion size was appropriate for the cost. Today was my first-ever visit to a Panda Express. I don't typically like excessively Americanized Chinese food, so I didn't have high hopes. But I was actually pleasantly surprised. It doesn't come close to my Chinese mother-in-law's cooking, but for a fast-food, drive-thru joint, it's pretty awesome. Service was friendly and fast at the drive-thru window. I had the orange chicken with super greens bowl. I love the fact that they print the calories of everything on the menu board, and I love that they have veggies as a side, so you if you're going low carb, you can skip the rice altogether. The meal came in a sturdy plastic bowl with a lid, a plastic fork, napkins and a packet of soy sauce, but you really don't need the soy sauce. The orange chicken was nicely seasoned, tangy/sweet but not cloyingly so. The chicken pieces were a mix of tender bite-size chunks and some smaller bits that were mostly fried batter. The super greens were a mix of steamed brocolli, kale and cabbage. Nice crunch and without excessive sauce. (I am a person who can appreciate an undressed vegetable so this was a good thing.) Panda Express's menu seems to strive for a blend of tasty and satisfying, yet healthy, and I think they succeed at that. Next time I will try the Shanghai Angus Beef and perhaps even the crab rangoons. Even though wontons filled with cream cheese are an obviously American invention, they're still tasty and only 190 calories at Panda Express! read more

Shockingly not good. At an exit with lots of good choices of chain restaurants, this place totally missed the mark for me. I'll give it credit for looking clean. I prefer healthy vegetarian. 1) My first disappointment was despite a choice of about 20 entree's none were a vegetable dish. They did offer a couple of items they considered side dishes that included fried rice with egg, noodles that were intended as a substitute for the Rick and a cabbage dish with carrots that was also a rice substitute and they offered fried egg rolls. 2) second disappointment is things were not fresh. I ended up with the cabbage carrot combo and fried shrimp (they didn't have non-fried versions). The shrimp were probably cooked several hours earlier with sauce and were soggy. The cabbage carrots were not good. I couldn't even eat the carrots they looked really weird gray and like they had been soaked for a week. If your into precooked not fresh meat dishes, some might be ok. My food was very disappointing. Staff was friendly. read more

Great customer service is the cornerstone of a successful business. Mylane was so nice and friendly. I haven't been to PE in years, so it took me a few extra minutes to decide. The food was nicely presented and the food preparation area was clean. The entrée items were tasty. The sweet fire chicken was very tasty with chuncks of pineapples...my favorite! If they sold bourbon chicken...man o' man would that be a hit. We liked the chicken entrées the best. However, the rice and chow mein was bland and a dry. No deal breakers. We will definitely return and try the vegetables. Ample parking. Located between AAA and Chipotle on Campbell Blvd. We donated money to a charity and the cashier chimed a bell and everyone yelled "thank you." Friendly and attentive staff, good food. We walked in at 9 on a Saturday night and the place was clean and the staff immediately greeted us. I have never been to a Panda Express before so they let my boyfriend and I sample whatever we had questions about. We both got the honey walnut shrimp and it was sweet, well breaded without being overly breaded, and good sized shrimp. Walnuts were like a sweet treat! I got the lo mein which at first looked a little dry but was actually very good! I will definitely get it again. My boyfriend got the rice which was unfortunately a bit too dry for my taste (his too). We sampled the orange chicken which is one of their top sellers, but for me it was too much breading and not enough chicken. As we sat down and ate we heard the staff greet every customer who walked in quickly with a "hello!" I don't see this often, especially at 9 at night. I'll be coming back! read more

After seeing "The Farewell" at our local theatre I had a real hankering for Chinese food and FAST. I've never been to Panda Express before since it is unfortunately located directly across from my favorite Golden Arches, but boy did it hit the spot. I ordered orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp and fried rice. An added bonus, they had my favorite soft drink on tap - Barq's Root Beer. THEY DON'T USE GLOVES. In the middle of a pandemic. Saturday night october 24 - a man and woman managing the front of house wore no gloves while processing my food and touching the register. Touching cash and peoples personal bank cards, then touching food. Cook on grill did not have gloves either. Gloves were in the CENTER of the kitchen and no one put them on. Like what the fuck? I only went here because the Y of Perry Hall was having a fundraiser night where they would get 20% of our total order. I ordered the bowl with King Pow Chicken and Lo Mein, my Husband got the 2 entree plate with two beef dishes and fried rice. The beef dishes were not ready and they offered me a free drink while I waited. Extra points. The restaurant was clean. The staff was friendly, polite and genuinely cared about the customers. This has been a recent choice for our weekly after class gatherings with our group. The food is exactly what I have came to expect with a Panda Express. Its very good, nice and hot, and always decently portioned. The only complaint that I have it that the drink area was consistently sticky and dirty every time we went. This usually is the results of someone not taking the time to properly clean the drink machine. All in all its a very minor issue that will not stop me from returning to this location. read more

My blackened chicken was overseasoned My orange chicken was made up of a lot of batter but very little chicken. Sadly the orange chicken lacked crunch or flavor. My hubby and I visited this Panda Express several times since they opened. On the night of 12/18/17 we experienced the best customer service thus far. When pulling in the drive thru I told my self I'm not going to order since for the last 3 visits they never have Beijing Beef. This night the gentleman stated they had it so we both ordered. When we arrived to the window he apologized and stated they were out, however he asked if we mind waiting so they can prepare more. This has never happened here (for us anyway).
