Definitely the best panda express in the Chicago area I've tried them all food is good for portion and usually freshly cooked

Is there a way for me to eat panda every day? I love panda express. Everything in that store is delectable! I have probably had every dish on the menu but I consistently get the exact same thing. Wow this place is extremely sad. 3x I tried going to the drive thru and was turned away and they said they closed early today because they are short staffed. No complaints about this establishment but on the afternoon of 09/27/19 @ 2:20pm i placed an order for one of my children an orange chicken bowl with brown rice and i explained to girl that they gave me someone else's order the day before.... and the girl taking the order was dismissing it like she didn't care, so when i come to the window she sits their for two minutes looking at me when the order was already bagged and ready to go and then decides to tell me the price i give her the money she rings it up and goes to hand me the change i said i don't want it keep it, she puts the change in the bag and ties it up.... the ignorant human being should be taught manners and learn how to respect a customer.... very disappointed with this franchise! read more

I absolutely love this restaurant chain and the people at this location are always very nice. The main issue I have only happens at this location, not the one in 135th and Cicero or 119 and Marshfield, just this location. Problem is that EVERY time I show up 30 min before closing or sooner they usually only have 25% of their menu. I am writing this review from the drive thru line after being told that Orange Chicken (probably their #1 seller) is out and it will take 45 min for more. I think the employees wanna go home...and I don't blame them. But I drove out of my way to come here so I offered to wait. -The woman at the drive thru was not happy -The cashier was not happy -I am not happy This is a lose-lose scenario. If they kept their food prepped until closing they would have my future business. After tonight this is the last visit to this location. read more

This review is based solely on delivery. They need to terminate the delivery option until they can get it together. First time we ordered online, we called after waiting over an hour. The person on the phone told us they never received our order. Weeks later, we decided to try again. Big mistake. The delivery guy brought us the wrong order and when we told him it wasn't what we ordered, he asked what we wanted him to do. No apology and insisted it was our food. After he left, we called to make sure they knew the driver made a mistake and to ensure we get the correct food. The person on the phone said they were now closed (it was still about 30 minutes before their closing time) and told us to come in tomorrow for our food. Ridiculous! The person on the phone claimed to be the manager, too! It was the most idiotic thing I'd ever heard regarding a delivery error. When I asked for a refund, he said at first he couldn't do that. Then he said it could take X amount of business days. I felt like I was being pranked or something. After getting nowhere with this "manager," my fiancé decided to call Panda's customer service. They were extremely apologetic and took our info to send us vouchers and coupons. read more

I came through the drive up on my lunch hour. I ordered the 3 entrée order. While I enjoyed my order I was disappointed in how long it took to get it. I was in drive thru line for over 15 minutes. I was informed that the pepper chicken I ordered was not ready (very good by the way). I gladly said I would wait, but it did seem to take longer than I expected. :( I did tell the lovely person at the window that the wait was quite long and I thanked her for her help, she was very polite and apologized to me for the long wait. Her attitude and apology made me feel better about that long wait. I was very pleased with my food overall, the food was hot and delicious. :) I would like you to know that the people who work at this location are well informed, professional, confident, considerate and have a genuine good attitude at work. I am pleased to say that I will return and often let my friends know of the great service and attention you give your customers. read more

Really bad experience. I cannot even begin. First there was no teriyaki chicken available which is understandable. Second we waited more than an hour to get our food. The lady that worked there kept telling us they ran out of this item and then another one like 20 minutes later which really upset me. After I got my food I left and when I arrived home I was missing 2 entrees, at that point I was done. I just ate what I got because I was very hungry and I also gave my family their food. When we start eating my mother and brother said the meat taste sour and I just told them oh it must be the flavor since this was our first time ordering this item because there was no teriyaki chicken. 30 min later my mom gets reallly nauseous and my dad said his stomach started hurting like never before but after a few hours they were better. Later on at night my brother gets super nauseous and he starts throwing up and he tells me "I think that food made me sick " . I will never come here again. read more

Went there at 10:10 ordered an entree. They said they were out and I had to wait 15 minutes. I told them that was fine. About 5 minutes later it comes out I realized it's too small. I go to order a larger one and the tell me the kitchen is closed!! Sorry...your drive thru is open til 10:30. This isn't fine dining where it takes 25 minutes to make a dish. It took 5!!! First, they lied about about how long it would take so I wouldn't order anything and they wouldn't have to work anymore. Then they lied about the kitchen being closed. Disappointed with this location. I'm giving it a 2 bc the employees are nice and I have a special place in my heart for Panda Express. That being said...the last two times I got my favorite mushroom chicken it was not made right. Either wrong spoons were used when stirring & scooping or recipes weren't followed. The first time it was sweet. Mushroom chicken is not sweet. The second time it had heat and pepper in it. Then this last time I decided to try beef & broccoli...more like "where's the beef?" and broccoli. So sadly, I won't be back here anymore. Simple stuff not being done right. read more

Sunday afternoon visit with my kids. The food was good and the kids enjoyed eating with chopsticks. The only issue I had was their choice of entertainment on the big screen TV. The restaurant was occupied by mainly families and they had UFC fights on the TV. I did not feel that this was appropriate viewing for my kids. They had basketball on the other screens. I asked if they could change the channel and they eventually did after the second time I got up. Granted they were busy, I totally understand and probably the manager was unaware of the bloody fight being shown on the TV. read more

I came through the drive-thru at 1:00 Saturday afternoon. It's lunch time, right? I was told that there would be a wait for what I ordered. How long, I asked? 3-4 minutes is what I was told. The two cars in line ahead of me were asked to park in the full parking lot because their food wasn't ready. We were asked to do the same, as well as some others because when the food finally came out over 10 minutes later, the employee made "deliveries" to 5 cars!!!! Also, I ordered a drink which wasn't included on my receipt, but at that point, I had already wasted 15 minutes of my life at this place and I didn't want to wait any longer. It is the same every time I eat here...waiting for food. And I agree with some of the other reviews....lukewarm food, fatty chicken, etc. almost $20 for two entrees....we can do better than that eating somewhere else. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a horrible experience at this location a couple of months ago and debated on whether to document in a yelp review or not. However if it were me I would want to know so decided to do a posting. While waiting for my food I saw an ant crawling near the foods. I point it out to a great worker who with a smile proceeded to kill the ant with her finger and then continued to prepare food for a customer going through the drive thru. I immediately declined my food and wrote to corporate and received a very generic reply. I understand that restaurants may have pest problems. Overall, the service and food were both good. I was served fairly quickly once I got in, but I would serve the people who are in person and present before the online orders. I walked up and had to wait for an online order to be completed before I was allowed to order. However, once I was served, it was very expedient and the the employees offered me samples and were very friendly. I would also make sure that the meat is cooked to crispy as my meat was more chewy than I would have hoped. The food is fine here, but the drive thru needs some serious help. I have been sitting in line for 30 minutes; and 20 of those minutes have been in the same spot without moving. Literally could have gone to a sit down place and eaten an entire meal by now. The only reason I haven't driven off yet is because I am literally stuck in the one lane drive thru that is between a building and a curb. Get your act together, Panda Express drive thru. If one person is causing the hold up, move them to the parking lot to keep the line moving. read more
