Everything was fresh because they were going through the food extremely fast with all the pick up orders. That said, they need more help, more hands on deck. These poor girls were running around trying to get everyone's order in order. They worked extremely hard and fast to get to the people standing in line, but took a while with all the pick up orders. Oh and the people inside that were over the 10 people at a time, which is clearly posted on the door, were pissed that they had to go outside and wait. Always clean and they keep the line moving with a smile! I order the "for her plate" which means no guilty styrofoam :) no bleached paper product either. This Panda used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Rohnert Park. That is until last week when I went in to get my usual 2 item plate and they no longer had either item I normally get. I am a vegetarian and Panda for many, many years has been a safe place I can go and get a meal however for some reason they decided to stop serving their one dish besides the steamed veggies that is vegetarian. My favorite item at Panda is their hot and sour soup that I used to get as one of my items as well but they also quit making that. Technically the guy working the counter said the soup is now seasonal.. Right now it is the middle of November... Needless to say I will no longer be eating here. read more

Tried to order online twice with Panda Express through a browser and their app. They are experiencing technical difficulties to say the least. Gave up and do not recommend trying. The local store doesn't honor the family $20 special or they do depending on who you speak with at the store. First attempt with my browser attempted to charge our credit card four times even though it said I had entered my security code wrong. Phoned the store to inquire and they don't know. Possibly it's because they don't offer the special the rep said. Manager offered to take the order over the phone but with so many charges hitting my card I opted not to try again. Fortunately the charges were rejected and so far I haven't seen them clear. Second attempt with the iOS app this time on a different day would not accept a valid email address. Decided to try ordering regular meals this time. Order wouldn't go through. According to store you cannot order over the phone nor do I have confidence in their online order system. Very frustrating! Will go pandaless until we can go inside for a regular transaction. Get it together panda. Note the staff that I spoke to tried to be helpful but they didn't know what happened. They can only see an order come in to fill and have no access or knowledge of the technical side. read more

This location packed my large order and missed a small item (common mistake). When I called about it I stated that I was coming back for a refund. When I got there and explained the situation to the server the lead intervened and offered to replace the order. I then stated that i was not interested in a replacement order and wanted my money refunded. The lead then stomped over to the cash register and gave me a refund less tax. It was so unprofessional that I walked away and made it a point to never go back to that Panda Express again. read more

I ordered my food online, went to pick it up & when I got home I discovered that I didnt get my eggrolls & instead of 12 pot stickers I was only given 9. This isnt the 1st time they've forgotten my eggrolls, it happens almost every time I go in there & I've always suspected that I wasnt getting the full amount of pot stickers but my kids usually start eating them so fast I've never been able to get an accurate count. There is no communication between the workers - our to-go cartons were shuffled around, stacked, passed forward and backward, and we had no less than four different employees trying to make our order. They ran out of broccoli beef and teriyaki chicken, so we were left waiting. They rang us up and had us wait to the side. But here's the thing, when the next order of teriyaki chicken came out, a different employee began slicing it all up and putting it in the boxes of people who were after us in line. We pointed that out to the guy who rang us up, and he shrugged and said sorry, it would be a few more minutes. Same thing happened again with the next order of teriyaki chicken, except this time I told the guy to get us our chicken before it all disappeared into subsequent orders. The lack of communication leading to poor service keeping the three of us waiting was inexcusable. It took us 40 minutes to wait through the already-slow line, watch other people get served the food we were waiting for, and finally get our stuff and leave. Been a regular panda patron for years but this location is TERRIBLE. Im ALWAYS super polite when it comes to food servers. On a recent visit I ordered what I always get, start off with half and half fried rice and chow mein. I noticed the server give me a much less portion of fried rice. I mentioned something about it so she did give me a tiny bit more. But then when it came to my entrees, instead of giving a full scoop, she shook the spoon to make some of the orange chicken pieces fall off. Now, is that a full scoop? Absolutely not. The portion was so much less than what I am used to. So i mention something again and another server feels the need to chime in and says "GO COMPLAIN". Which, is exactly what I did. I was in Panda Express last Thursday. I ordered two orders to go. One was chow mein only and the other was 3 items which also included chow mein. The noodles were so dried out and bad we had to throw them out. In the past they have been good. It seems they used a different type of noodle that was probably cheaper but it was bad, but that's no excuse. Also they are giving you less of the entree then usual. I went tonight to get some dinner and said I wanted a two item entree but with double orange chicken and all veggies. The woman was like, "So you want a bowl?" And I said no and told her again what I wanted. She gave me the veggies I wanted but only gave me half of the orange chicken I asked for. Even after I told her twice what I wanted. I was only charged for a bowl but I just didn't have the energy to go and explain myself all over again. OK, Panda Express is well known and yeah its not a super posh place but what it is is consistent and oh so yummy. I hate to think of the deep frying and that the ingredients aren't whole and clean foods but damn I cannot find a decent Chinese place in all of Sonoma County that is above 4 stars and consistently cooking up the same food time after time. I avoid coming here due to it ALWAYS being packed. Unfortunately it seems like the staff is severely unorganized. Lines with 15+ people!! how is that even possible. I know it's panda express but damn you would think they'd have a system in place. I paid attention to the staff since I waited in line for literally 35 minutes.. what I noticed I was they were getting in door dash orders and they didn't know which order to fill or if they should help customers waiting in line which is pretty obvious you help the customer on the floor first always in any business. What they need is somebody to train them and how to be organized and to realize that the customers in line and in person come first.
