I ordered DoorDash to my Airbnb. The food came quick, and it was hot. I ordered a small wor wonton soup, and what I got was very large. The broth was delicious, and they were lots of goodies. The veggies were not too hard or too soft, the shrimp were tender and flavorful, and I loved the wontons. It was a very good soup. The chow fun wasn't as successful. It was a bit oily. I could actually feel it leaving a film on my lips. Saying that, it was tasty. Again, the proteins were tender and flavorful, they just need to cut down the oiliness a little bit. There was enough food, that I got several meals out of it. The price before the delivery charge was very reasonable, for the amount of food that I got. I would order here again, and I would order that soup again in a heartbeat, but this time I would try something else besides that chow fun. Thank you. read more

Seeing a Chinese food place being around for so many years, I went in to check if they served any vegetarian traditional Chinese food options. The place was closed when I went and had a follow up call from the restaurant later, I did find out that there 3-4 vegetarian options available. We ordered takeout. It was our first time trying this restaurant, and we were so excited because of all the great reviews and also the descriptions of the food were fun. Unfortunately, to us this was mediocre at best. We tried the Mongolian beef chow mein, and we're expecting actual Mongolian beef with the onions in the crispy rice and the peppers, but it was only meat on top of chow mein. We were also excited about the chow mein because the noodles had such great reviews. We found them to be flavorless and had to add a ton of soy sauce. Then we tried the orange chicken, which sounded delicious by the description and the reviews. It was chicken thigh, meat, and a pieces were quite different. Some of them were tasty, and some of them were odd. I don't know that we'll be back, probably not. read more

The only thing positive about this place is that it's a late-night eating establishment in Rohnert Park, which is woefully in need of restaurants open after 10 pm. (Especially given that it has a late-night casino.) The food is bland, over priced, and oddly does not come with soy sauce unless you ask for it. It is completely take out (no restaurant dining). In authentic Chinese food. And service involves walk-in orders with a computer screen. I've had a better, cheaper experience at Panda Express down the street. It's a shame, because it looks so cool from the outside, but looks can be deceiving. Save your money and go elsewhere-- like across the street to Raley's in a pinch. read more

Our usual spot - Hunan Kitchen - was closed over the winter holidays, so we had to opt for something else and found Dynasty nearby. We went in person to place an order for takeout. We had a simple order: two chicken entrees, rice, and wontons. The man working the register said their spare ribs were on special and urged us to try them, so we added that. Our order came out to $70 - what seemed like on par with what we ordered. A few minutes after, he said he forgot to add the spare ribs to the order so had us come up and pay for those again. We waited ~20 minutes for our order, and when we got it, we noticed the wontons were not in the order. He had us pay for those once again, and we waited another 5 minutes for those. The women working in the kitchen were apologetic for our wait, and the dine-in service seemed better, but I can't help but think we got overcharged. Either way, getting a takeout order wrong twice left a poor impression on us. We found the entrees to be flavorful, wontons were good, but the spare ribs were tough, chewy, and inedible - perhaps even past safe to eat. Unfortunately, this poor ordering experience, priceyness, and average food quality means we won't be back and will just hope Hunan Kitchen opens for the holidays next year. read more

Had high hopes but a disappointment. This restaurant is a take out only, which is fine, but in all my years of eating Chinese food, this is the first experience where a restaurant charges $1.50 extra if I wanted the hot and sour soup extra spicy, or extra $3.00 if you want garlic with the Chow Mein. Not sure if it's a glitch with their online ordering system but it seems there's lot unnecessary extra charges. The Shrimp Chow Mein was not bad. Great service from beginning to end! It was my first time dining at this restaurant and I was not disappointed. The restaurant is clean and their menus are simple and easy to read. The service is attentive and super quick -- all of our food came out fast and hot. We ordered: pot-stickers, pork chow mein and the three seafood plate. All were delicious, but the three seafood plate was especially my favorite -- the sauce it was in was garlicky and delicious! I look forward to our next visit! read more

My family ate Christmas dinner here in 2022. We were so grateful they could make a reservation for us, even though they were busy with other parties in house and lots of delivery orders. For this dinner, I ordered an assortment of tofu and vegetarian dishes (orange tofu, kung pao tofu, chow fun, steamed vegetables). I wished they were a bit more flavorful. My family enjoyed their meat dishes, however. We've eaten here at other times as well, and have found that it's one of the best options for Chinese food in town. (Though of course, not a comparison to San Francisco options.) It is a family run business and we really like the woman who owns the place and often cooks the food. read more

When I went to pick it up I discovered that the beautiful dining space they once had was closed - food was available for takeout only, and there was weird creepy vibe in general. As someone who lived in SF for 15 plus years (next to Clement street) this is the best Chinese food in Sonoma County minus Boiling Bowl.

We tried Dynasty this evening on a recommendation. We were very surprised when we arrived to find out that there is no on site dining offered, it's take out only. The young man at the entrance rather than take our order, directed us to use the order kiosk. Got through the process of placing and paying, odd question was asked if we wanted vegetables? We came to find out, that was blanket ask. Not just about 1 dish. All of our food was just the meat. The lemon chicken was just ok. The Mongolian beef was so over cooked it was like leather. The chow mein was just noodles and the beef. The egg rolls were very greasy. Price not bad, but, the food was actually unacceptable. This is not a restaurant that I can recommend. However, it was pricey to say the least. The total was $189 and we didn't get any silverware, napkins, soy sauce or sauce of any kind. Food is great but just a heads up, the eggrolls I guess don't come with sweet and sour. I paid $2 to order sweet and sour which I thought was going to be an extra for my fried rice, cause I like it on that too, but I didn't have enough. I got one little thing of it. I was craving hot and sour soup while I had covid and decided to uber eats their food. I got a small hot and sour soup with a thai tea. Their portion sizes are amazing and the soup was just what I needed and so delicious. They also had my food ready on time and bagged it so that the soup and drink would not fall over. The tea still had ice and the soup was still piping hot when I received it. This will be my go to place for hot and sour soup now:) read more

I'm proud to write this one for Dynasty Restaurant in Rohnert Park! (I really ought to have posted photos to highlight how good everything looked/was but our appetite got the better of us!) My boyfriend and I were both craving Chinese Food for takeout tonight and came across Dynasty Restaurant on both Google Reviews and Yelp - and we are SO glad we did! We were blown away by how delicious and succulent the dishes we ordered were and have easily found a new favorite go-to for amazing Chinese Food. We tend to like to order a little bit of everything (plus we love leftovers) when it comes to Chinese Food and ordered a handful of wonderful dishes: Mongolian Beef, Szechuan Beef, Orange Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, and Potstickers. They were ALL amazing but the dishes we both found absolutely exceptional were the Potstickers (stuffed full and specially handmade by the owner's wife A+++!) and the Szechuan Beef (out of this world flavor!). We were also totally in love with the dipping sauce that came with the Potstickers - I mean I would buy this stuff by the bottle if I could because it was THAT good! It hit every feel-good flavor profile one could ask for. The ingredients they use are top-notch (from their proteins and vegetables to seasoning & sauces) and really shine through in each dish we tried. Upon picking up our order we also briefly spoke with the owner who was incredibly kind and gave us a little history on Dynasty Restaurant (hint: They've been in business for over 40 years!). It's clear that there is so much love and pride put into Dynasty and it really shines through in both their food and kindness. I highly recommend giving Dynasty Restaurant a try if you haven't yet and I personally look forward to trying many more of their other dishes on our next take-out order! It's 9 pm. You're a tired mom who fed the kids left over chicken strips, snacking on whatever remained on their plates. This place is super convenient, speaking as a college student! They're open extra long Wednesday through Saturday until midnight, which is a lifesaver at the end of long days of study that leave you no cooking time. They also do delivery, making it even easier to get what you're looking for without going out. The staff is really friendly, and so you get a good feeling coming in to order. If I could in all honesty give this place a zero star review, I would automatically do it. I have only tried this place one time and in my experience at this restaurant, I felt that I was insulted highly not only by the owner, but by the employees as well. It seems as if the waiters who works there can't express themselves properly in a respectful manner towards their customers and the owner doesn't even take action at all. Better customer service needs to be provided on their part as an establishment altogether. How are you gonna run or operate a restaurant and have your employees give inadequate customer service? The employees were very rude and highly disrespectful and the food is heavily coated in MSG and that's the only flavor you'll get from it sadly. :///// read more
