Could use more fresh ready food over all clean but low on food inside especially if you order online

Kina was rude, unfriendly and unprofessional! I was waiting to be helped, once it was my turn she decided to wipe the counter when it was not dirty. What is more important, helping customers or cleaning while there was 2 people in line. When the fresh orange chicken came out, I ask her for the fresh one and she gave me under 1 scoop. Then she pushed my food to the side. I don't even know her she acted like I did something horrible to her. I wanted to speak to the manager and ai found out that she was the manager. I was shocked. Kina was so rude how could she be the manager. The other associates were much nicer than her. Please talk to Kina regarding customer service. Came here for Saturday night takeout. The line was pretty quick and the service friendly. I asked for the spicy shrimp and beef. The portion seemed small and it was explained that they serve only 3 shrimp and 5 pieces of beef. Later when I ate it the taste was underwhelming. I am a big advocate for Panda Express. I think it's the best fast food chain ever created. I go pretty frequently, like twice a month on average, and some months 4-5 times. This establishment is the closest to my house. I have never been disappointed by the quality of the food or service. They serve me well and fast. I usually take my food to go or get it delivered from here, but all I can say is that this Panda is my go to Panda. I only started eating Panda for the first time this year because my bf likes it. I can understand why because the food quality is pretty good for a fast food restaurant and it is clear that they use fresh ingredients for some of their dishes. This might sound basic but I like their teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, and super greens. Also got to try their new bourbon chicken. It's just like the orange chicken but with a little kick to it. The employees here are super nice and welcoming. There was a problem with my food recently, and the store manager that was there was very helpful and kind. I want to give a shoutout to one of the senior cooks too because they came over a few times to check up on us. We felt taken care of and content with how they handled the situation. The inside of the store is clean since employees are always walking around and taking care of the store. I like how there is natural lighting coming from the outside. read more

Not sure if I agree with the sad two stars. I've picked up food from this location several times. Especially, when I don't have time to cook or when I'm dropping off a package at FedEx next door. The service is always friendly and quick. The food meets Panda Express standards. I typically will order online and pick-up, because I'm always running against the clock. The family meal is a great deal. It comes with 2 large sides & 3 large entrees that can feed up to 3-4 people. Orange chicken and Kung Pao Chicken are my favorite. My boys like the Broccoli Beef. Not a big fan of the new plant base dishes. It's quick and convenient for those weeknights that you're too busy to cook and need to get dinner on the table. read more

Thought I am happy that Panda Express now has a mobile app with rewards, I still believe they could do better with food portions. I've noticed that the servings keep getting smaller and smaller when you order. Chinese food has and always been a staple for bang for your buck savings. Bu the way they ration their food is getting out of hand. They will scoop an order that you choose and if they think they over scooped, they will take it away from you. I ordered via the Panda app at 2:58pm and it said my order would be ready at 3:12. I arrive at 3:15 and my order is nowhere to be found. I asked the lady at the register and showed her my receipt via the app and I was asked to have a seat and see if the order eventually comes through. I ordered almost 20 minutes ago, what's the point of ordering ahead if I have to wait that long for the order to show in your system, or why give me a pickup time of 3:12 if the order was going to take that long to show up. But I sat...and sat... and sat some more. I'm showing you the receipt, it was a lousy $7 kids meal, just make it and let me be on my way. But nooooo I sat until 4 o'clock waiting for that dang order. I could understand if it was computer issue, but I'm showing you proof from your own app so make my food and figure out the issue on your own time, not mine! I saw them make a kids meal and it sat on their back counter for almost 5 minutes so I thought no way that's mine. No way they would make finally make my order after waiting all this time and just let it sit there behind the counter, not even on the to go stand so I could just grab it and go, but sure enough someone finally grabbed it and brought it to me. And no compensation, not even a beverage just a here ya go. I missed an appointment I had scheduled waiting for them to make my kids meal. It was 10 PM and I was hungry. Luckily, in the plaza across from Target, this Panda Express location was still open and wasn't closing until 11 PM. THANK GOODNESS! Upon arrival, a lot of the dishes were near empty, but the cooks were still working on bringing out fresh dishes. The workers handling the line were friendly and I felt like they took care of the extra late dinner rush pretty well. How about a minus 5 stars! WTF was I thinking going to Panda Express for lunch? I saw a $3.00 off online coupon and thought I would give it a try as that is a good discount. There is one very close to me so I got online to place my order. Right off there is a problem. Is is telling me my closest location is in Roseville about 25 miles away. No it's at Calvine & Elk Grove - Florin Rd about 1/2 from where I live. I am able to fool it into giving me the local location after a few minutes. Next problem is the location next to me isn't set up for online orders. Then I think I'm going shopping at Sprouts while out for lunch and I order from the Bruceville location. They charge my credit card, then credit it back, then charge it again. Odd. I get down there with a printed out copy of my receipt. It takes the two Women at the register a long, long time to figure out what order is mine. I don't understand as there is only 1 order sitting there for an online order. It's mine! 3 times they ask me for my phone number? I give it to them, but when I ordered I was never ask for it so I don't know why they need it. I tell them my name is Bruce like what is printed on their store receipt. They take my copy of the receipt I printed when I ordered. After 2 or 3 minutes they give me my food. I go sit down and open up the foam to go container. It looks like it has been way, way overcooked or kept warm for many hours. It's probably left over from the weekend! I'll post photos and it's easy to see. The beef is so tough I can hardly chew it. The chicken is totally dried out. The rice has zero flavor. I play with it for a few minutes and give up. I take it over to the ordering counter and demand a refund. The stupid Women have no clue what to do and finally go get the manager. She looks at it and frowns then says she will have to credit my credit card. Sure........ This was about 5 hours ago and still no credit as of right now. I wholeheartedly believe that any self-respecting Chinese person would look at the dishes of mass produced fried meats here and immediately apologize to their ancestors. Pay attention to your pickup orders and delivery orders, there doesn't seem any oversight in regards to correct items and missing items before packaging the orders. If you're there in person you have the opportunity to watch your orders being filled and corrected and errors. With take out or delivery you don't know about any issues until you get your order. If you find an error you are unable to speak an employee so the error can have some sort of resolution. Now you can only show your dissatisfaction by giving the delivery person or the company a bad review. When they aren't responsible for the issue. It does cause repercussions for the driver and I've heard that the driver could lose their job because of complaints or negative feedback. read more

Come early and you get fresh food. Come late like some of the other people complaining on here and you get whatever is left. Is it the American culture to just keep on wasting food??
