We came in on a Tuesday night right when the cook went on break and they got pretty busy and were out of quite a few items AND closing in an hour, the girl that helped us was super nice and the guy that rang us up offered us a water cup while we waited. We visit Panda at least once a month. It is a family favorite at our house. Even our little one is a big fan. The food is always great and the people who work their are always very friendly. The only problem I have come across is that the Raspberry iced tea always happens to be empty, but I am pretty sure that has more to do with my bad luck than anything else! read more

We have enjoyed this location on several occasions, but the last visit was particularly bad. The fried rice was extremely overcooked and hard. When we asked for some fresh rice they begrudgingly served us another plate right from the same batch. The employee restocked their cash registers with cash and then promptly went right from cash to food without washing her hands. She assured us that yes, they do handle cash and serve food without washing their hands! Very disappointing and unsanitary. read more

I went to panda to enjoy a nice meal with my dad when the person in front was asked for ID because his purchase was bigger than 20 dollars when the man said he didn't have his ID with him and offered to pay with cash the worker proceeded to harass the poor man. To be completely honest I would rather go to the panda in Tigard than go to this shitty panda with nasty food and nastier staff. read more

Crap service and no sense of first come first serve. After ordering to go they let my plate sit in the warmer awaiting fried rice when they had some in the pan. I ordered through Grubhub and the driver gave me the wrong order from a different restaurant. Understanding that this was not their fault at all, I went in to get my order myself. I called ahead to explain the situation. They said sure come down. Once I come in, the guy was incredibly rude. I told him I called about the grubhub order. He said in a very rude manner that they did t receive any order. I showed the order from my phone that I paid for it. I tried explaining, but he interrupted me. He then barked at me to go see the woman at the cash register. She yelled at me while I was still from the entrance that it was already given out. I walked up to her trying to be friendly and explain the situation. She kept interrupting me and started yelling at me. She said the order cannot be given out even though I paid for it, and I asked grubhub to call the restaurant. If the woman would have taken the time to explain to me policies in a friendly manner, I would have been happy to listen. She chose not to and acted like a bitch. Staff there were very dismissive of me and were incredibly rude. Again I do not fault them for Grubhub's incredible incompetence. But professional behavior would have been best. I will be contacting their district manager and filing a complaint with the company. read more

I'm done with panda express in Sherwood Oregon. They open after there posted time with a long line. After getting inside they literally have two entrees available to choose from. What part of being open and ready for business do they not understand. It was an additional 40 minutes to get my food. Never ever again!!!! read more

The food here is great, but the service is terrible. I called in 30 minutes in advance to avoid having to wait a ridiculous amount of time but I ended up having to wait 45 extra minutes after the original 30 minutes. In the store I asked about my food and they kept saying it would be ready in 8 minutes, but that was not true. They would repeatedly serve others who arrived after me and continuously delay my order. And it wasn't until another customer noticed I had been waiting for an insane amount of time that I finally got my food. I would give 0 stars if I could. read more

Does not have the selection that other Panda Express's do. Ordered bowl with String Bean Chicken and there were three(3) pieces of chicken in my meal. No cream Cheese ragoons, no soup, entrees were limited. Mark this one off my list. We eat Panda Express an average of 3 times a week. read more

The whole purpose of going to Panda is that it is quick and I dont have to wait long when Im on a time crunch. This panda never replace food until the last spoon. There was at least 5 of them empty. I had to wait 8 more minutes. I asked for teriyaki chicken in a bowl for my son. When I got home to drop it off, they forgot to put the teriyaki sauce in it. My son wouldnt eat it. 6 hours later, I had to go back to a very packed panda and told them Im willing to pay half the cost for another teriyaki bowl since they forgot to put the sauce in, which I think is fair. They refused and said I have to pay the full price for it. They wanted me to wait another 10 minutes for the chicken. I will never come back again. read more

I visited this store on Saturday, February 10 at about 7:15 pm and once again, two weeks later also at 7:15 pm. Both times that I visited, they were disorganized, slow and out of more than a few dishes. I don't think it is the fault of the individual employees... it looks to me like they don't provide enough staff. The first time, they were out of Broccoli beef, out of mixed vegetables, out of string bean chicken and out of teriyaki chicken. I had to wait over 15 minutes for the teriyaki chicken and they acted annoyed that I wanted what I wanted. The second time I visited, they were out of white rice, orange chicken, broccoli beef and teriyaki chicken. When I asked how long for white rice to be ready, they told me 45 minutes. The teriyaki chicken was going to be 15 minutes, and the broccoli beef 10 minutes. All the while, they had 7 or 8 partial boxes made up, all waiting for something. This is supposed to be a "fast food" restaurant, but they were not fast and they didn't have half of the entrees that I wanted. Please let the owners know that they are losing my business. I came home and made my own meal. How can a Chinese restaurant not have rice? read more

My 14 year old granddaughter went in and ordered our food while I stayed out in the car with the 3 year old. She was the first in line and yet it took them 30 minutes to get our food. Everyone was served before her. They told her 10 minutes for the teriyaki chicken and yet 30 minutes it took them. So upset on so many fronts because of the poor performance. read more

The food is not very good and the employees don't have a clue. Was there last evening and they didn't have any brown rice. When asked they just looked at me like I was from another planet. Great food, always delicious and in large portions, but each time I go I am always disappointed with their customer service. Everyone behind the counter is unhelpful and sometimes very rude. Never welcoming you in the door, or saying have a nice day when you leave. I couldn't ask them a question without feeling like they were bothered by my request. I visited the new Panda in Newberg. We arrived to a line out the door. The cashier was slow and was writing the orders on the bottom of the plates. The girl who filled the order had to hold the plate over her head to see what else was on the order. We had a receipt with survey number so we were supposed to get a bigger plate for the big plate price. The girl who filled the order gave the smallest portion of Teriyaki chicken I have received at any Panda and I have been to many. They ran out of vegetables and we had to wait and eat them after the rest of our meal. She then took my credit card and we sat down (twenty minutes from the time we entered). When we sat we looked at the bill. She charged us for a big plate AND a single serving ($4.25) that we were supposed to get for free. I went back and asked for the manager.. The cashier served two more people before calling for the manager (while my food was getting cold). The manager eventually came out and hurriedly said yes it was a mistake and she would have to refund the original transaction and run it again. It would take some time to do and it would show up on my card in about ten days. The line was still out the door so I just sat down and ate my luke warm food. This is the second time I have been disappointed with the Newberg store. She also said they were understaffed (a few blocks from George Fox College?). I complained the first time I want to the Newberg store and I got no response and the service got worse. Panda used to be my first choice. read more

Got in waited 10 mins for veggies they helped another woman behind me before I got my food, wrote my order down and "fulfilled it" got all the way home which was 40 mins away discovered they gave me no entrees went all the way back at this point our food was cold and gross. Wanted a refund-said they wouldn't give us one without a receipt. I've worked in grocery stores it's not hard to give a refund without a receipt. They said they couldn't do it. The girl working the cash register was literally laughing and smirking while talking to her manager on the phone explaining our situation. At this point we spent and hour and a half of our time on their mistake and they acted like they could care less. The manager refused to do anything aside from giving us new plates which at this point we didn't want.
