The food here just wasn't my type of flavors. We stopped in here, as a group, for lunch. The staff at the counter was friendly and helpful. The dining area has several tables and plenty of space but every table was dirty. We ordered a variety of dishes. My personal dish was the Japanese pan noodles. I added a breaded Parmesan chicken to it. I also sampled other dishes from others sharing what they ordered. Everything was sweet. It tasted like sugar was added to every dish. I added sriracha and soy sauce to mine to try to give a little savory balance to the sweetness but it didn't really tone it down enough for me. We also ordered some sides. I chose the potstickers. They were simply steamed, lukewarm, with sauce. Very plain. I don't feel that the flavors or quality of the food is worth the high price point. The highlight of the lunch was their soda machine. I love the fancy fountain machines with all the different flavors. That alone gets an extra star. It was a nice place to sit with friends and have lunch but I wouldn't come back for the food. There's so many great places in the area that offer this type of cuisine with great flavors and many options at a lower cost than this Noodes and Company.

I now realize that I should have given the spot a go long long ago.. I decided to order in to order in and I was really craving pasta. For me this means I want a mouthful or 2 of pasta with a pile of vegetables and some meat. Unfortunately most places give you a vat of pasta covered in an insane amount of cheese and they threatened it with a vegetable.. Do not get me wrong, I see you folks that really enjoy this and and I seriously love that you can have that! I am just not built for it and never really have been. Here, I was actually able to get 2 different dishes which were both phenomenal. Then I also ordered bread with marinara... Everything I ordered was amazing.. I requested the zucchini noodles In a garlicky sauce with grilled chicken. I also got tortellini with, I think Orange chicken. The Orange chicken was not what I was expecting so maybe I didn't get that... but everything was delicious. I have no complaints and definitely plans to order again and probably with frequency since both dishes came with a bunch of vegetables. Finding delivery/take out with vegetables a plenty is nigh impossible. I cannot stress enough how in love with their zucchini noodles also!

Well... If I had read the reviews I would have saved myself from a bad meal. Let me preface this by saying the staff was very friendly and service was great! I know it's a chain so my expectations weren't crazy high, but the stroganoff was about on par with high school lunch. The noodles were very dry and it was EXTREMELY lacking in sauce. I can't explain how dry and therefore bland the noodles were.

What a disappointment! I was really in the mood for pasta but didn't want to sit down at a restaurant plus I've been driving by this place for so long I decided today is the day. Came in around 6, wasn't as busy as I would think for dinner time but worked out perfectly. I ordered the Penne Rosa with no spinach or mushrooms. I also ordered a side of the mac and cheese to try. I get home excited to eat just to see find lots of mushrooms in my pasta and half the penne noodles were stuck together! I mixed it up to try to separate the noodles and was just put off. I absolutely hate mushrooms too so there's that. I thought I'll try my luck with the Mac and cheese and literally there was a glob of cheese just in the middle and a very good portion of noodles had NO CHEESE ON THEM, just plain noodles. I tried mixing the cheese around and it wasn't enough. I really had high hopes for this place as it's somewhat close to my work and was hoping to make this place a regular lunch spot. What a waste of money.

Mac and cheese. The cheese is missing. We definitely expected cheese and all we got was a light sprinkle of cheese on the top layer we ate.

I ordered the chicken Parmesan and it was awful, there was not enough sauce and the noodles were dry. I feel like I wasted my money.

We had an out of town guest and we did not want to fuss with cooking at home nor sitting in a stuffy noisy (or super quiet) eatery! Sitting out side before sunset, was the perfect setting on our Monday night. Our waitress was super interactive and very genuine with her assessments of the dining & alcoholic beverage choices. For adult drinks we had an excellent Next Level IPA brewed & branded for Montelupo, Rose special and glass of House Red wine. I was starving so we ordered the LARGE Radicchio salad and it was Big & filling. A side of fresh Broccolini complimented our individual entrees. My hearty Italian dish was the Ricotta Cavatelli. I even had enough for lunch the next day! My two lovely lady dinner mates had meals of Mafaldine pasta and Spinach Fettuccine (with Grana Padano cheese added). We gladly finished our comfortable dining experience with a shared and inhaled Tiramisu dessert. The linguine was extremely acidic and overly citrusy, and the Bolognese was bland and forgettable. To make matters worse, our table was next to the trash and recycling area, so we spent the meal dealing with flies, bees, and constant foot traffic. The only positive was our server with dark hair and glasses. She was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. Overall, this was a one-star experience, and I won't be returning. If you're looking for Italian food, I'd recommend LUCE Restaurant down the street instead. Trust me!

Of course then the question is, does the taste match? And I'm happy to say it did! These were tasty, made with both a red sauce and a butter sauce at home later. And I'm not really a good cook, but ravioli are hard to mess up with ~5 mins of simmering in boiling water. I got all of one flavor and would like to try a variety next time. Because the food was so damn good. Look - I'm going to start off by saying I grew up practically on The Hill. Out here, you'll have to Google it (make sure to add 'RI' to the search or you'll get some political BS), but back east, "alls you's have ta say" was those two words and anyone would know you knew your Italian, food and otherwise. There isn't anything on this coast that vaguely compares to The Hill's food, but walking into and biting out of Geraldi's was having a little piece of home. There's this little shop in the old town where the owner knew your voice when you called to order... you'd walk in, and you heard "hey cousin!" whether you were or not, and that's the vibe you get from Geraldi's. The food is much the same - you get something that looks like Nonna was at the range all day with her sauce (it's not gravy - no meat) and you came home looking like you haven't eaten in weeks: "I'm gonna fatten you up before you leave" and you walked out the door with a sub (sandwich, that is - not a submarine) that weighed the same as a newborn. We got three of those babies: a Chicago Beef (seal of approval from the orderer - only 'complaint' was that they had to eat it all in one day because the bread was quote too soggy to make it to lunch the next day - travesty), an Italian sausage (just as delicious when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and a Chicken Parmeroni (I thought somehow even better when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and I could have absolutely gone back the next day if it weren't for A. the leftovers 2/3 of us had and B. the meal planning we'd done for the week. I also grabbed a side of giardiniera because I will get it anytime I see it available and I inhaled it - I need to know if I can by it by the vat instead of the side cups because it too was similar to what I can find at home (about practically nowhere out here) and amazing!! I'm still upset I didn't take pictures though!

All they mentioned was French inspired or French fusion, and knowing I haven't been to many of those my wife and I went here without looking at the menu. Looking at the menu, I'll tell you that it was not what I expected so much so that I forgot to take pictures of it because I spent all my time trying to decide what I wanted. I think not looking anything up was probably the best decision I could've made because that led to us choosing some dishes that I think we normally wouldn't have ordered. We tried to steam cheeseburgers, the steak, tartar, garlic, fries, foie gras dumplings, and gnocchi. Also got some specialty drinks. Service was amazing, if I was really nice, did not take too much time at all to get food, and the food itself was special. (Specials is the best word I can use to describe discovering new flavors, my age ) Two thumbs up, will be coming back again, and excited to try everything on the menu! Also, note that they do have some parking in the front of the building so if you're going for lunch, try there first instead of worrying about parking blocks away.
