The food here just wasn't my type of flavors. We stopped in here, as a group, for lunch. The staff at the counter was friendly and helpful. The dining area has several tables and plenty of space but every table was dirty. We ordered a variety of dishes. My personal dish was the Japanese pan noodles. I added a breaded Parmesan chicken to it. I also sampled other dishes from others sharing what they ordered. Everything was sweet. It tasted like sugar was added to every dish. I added sriracha and soy sauce to mine to try to give a little savory balance to the sweetness but it didn't really tone it down enough for me. We also ordered some sides. I chose the potstickers. They were simply steamed, lukewarm, with sauce. Very plain. I don't feel that the flavors or quality of the food is worth the high price point. The highlight of the lunch was their soda machine. I love the fancy fountain machines with all the different flavors. That alone gets an extra star. It was a nice place to sit with friends and have lunch but I wouldn't come back for the food. We have always liked Noodles & Co. for a quick, not terribly bad for you meal. They have a wide variety of noodle bowls, some salads,a few sides, and we like the big fat rice krispy treats. Service is just counter style, and it is not fancy. We recently moved closer to this one which we used to frequent near my kiddo's years of swim class and my ex's old work so it had been a while (we occasionally went to the Hillsboro location). Last night we ordered me the Alfredo MontAmore that has parmesan chicken pieces, spaghetti, spinach, tomatoes, and an alfredo sauce. It was supposed to have mushrooms and it did not. Sad. There was not much sauce but that's fine with me. Parmesan chicken used to arrive in a big scored flat piece, now it comes in bits that are easier to eat but there are less of them. They were out of rice krispy treats. Also sad. The now 20 yo "kid" got a kid's mac and cheese that comes with broccoli, a squeezy kid's applesauce, and a chocolate milk box. They added tofu and swapped out the macaroni for tortellini. There was also a side Caesar salad and a potstickers appetizer. Kid was happy. All in all, a not super expensive and mostly decent meal. I tried the sauce and tomato'/ basil left over and I was ok with it. My order I felt was too small for the price . The noodles and other ingredients had good flavor , but not a good value . In addition I paid extra for chicken . My garden salad was very good - the tomatoes and cucumber were fresh as was the lettuce mix . That was a winner , plus the dressing was not a fat laden creamy one it was a balsamic type. Overall we just thought $37 was too much for what we had and our original idea of getting Qdoba next door would have been a better choice for less money . If you could find them, the very few bits of carrot and celery were total mush. I didn't see any onions, but they must have melted. The noodles were pasty and tasteless. TLDR: Hot pasta, great price points, fast and friendly service! The only thing I would love to see is a tip jar or tip space when paying with a card for these employees!! --- Walked in to order dinner for to go and a cooling space with the heat wave that's coming and was helped promptly! The employee gave good recommendations for what cheese and meat add ons. We got a spicy penne rose and pesto cavatappi both in the regular size with added parm chicken. Love that we were asked if we wanted plasticware too. The food was made fast and the employees who all seem to be young adults were working with good teamwork and communication with a dinner rush The dining room has plenty of seating, tables marked for social distancing and a one way entrance/exit doors. Plenty of options to order as you can walk in, get delivery from apps, order online to pick up, call by phone, and even curbside- organized area for the different to go orders. The pasta left me full but not a carb overload feeling of food coma. The spice level complimented the dish and vegetables. I liked that the parm chicken wasn't dry or rubbery as it was flattened out so it was easy to eat with the pasta/vegetables. My first problem with this company is the price, I find the price to be way too high for the quality of noodle. $30 may seem reasonable for two meals but when I received my food I had quite a few problems. My noodles were undercooked, the Wisconsin Mac and cheese sauce was liquidated and had an unpleasant texture. Not to mention that the steak was $5. I had the other meal I had the Penne Rosa. Beaverton OR location really made me look bad. Did a catering order.60 People. Arrives through Grub Hub. Me and the driver go over the whole order and it's short 2 full trays. That's food for 15-20 people. Driver try's calling them but they won't answer. Since only way to have them deliver, I had to go through Ez Cater. Driver called EZ and they tried several times to call the restaurant and got no answer either. I needed someone to deliver me those 2 trays. No luck. I had to tell my employees sorry, can only have a little bit of pasta and some went without any. They gave me tons of garlic bread but Stingy with salad and dressing. Desert tray is supposed to be cookies & rice krispies treats. Only received cookies and some were still partly frozen. This is not the kind of luncheon I want to give my employees. The I order on the app and I often times have to wait 15 to 20 minutes more than what the confirmation email says is the pick up time. The last two times that I've been at the Noodles & Co they ran out of rice crispy treats, which is fine. But the first time they ran out they tried to give me one mini rice crispy treat and not tell me and I looked in the bag and said something. And the second time they said there weren't any and I asked for a refund and they said I had to go on the app because I ordered on the app. I tried going on the app while I was in the store and there's no way on there to fix anything. So I ask what do I do with the app? The woman didn't know she said I have to call a number, couldn't tell me which number and so now I have paid for an item I did not receive and have no recourse.
