I never thought I would enjoy fast Chinese food, but this Panda Express in Warrenton, OR does a great job. Sure, the choices are limited, and it doesn't seem very "authentic", but in a pinch, it's reasonably priced and it beats BK or McDonald's any day! The teriyaki chicken, walnut shrimp and super greens are my go to's. Tasty and always fresh. The staff is also great. Friendly, smiling all the time, and polite. I usually use the drive through and their drive thru staff is just the best! Plus, they have a pretty decent reward system if you download their app. It's easy to earn free food in a relatively short time. Good job Panda Express! read more

I've always been a fan of Panda Express Orange Chicken. But I'd never tried this Warrenton location. With the onslaught of fast-food apps I tried the Panda Express app, and I've ordered the Family Meal twice now. We had Chow Mein, Super Greens, Hony Walnut Shrimp, Orange Chicken (of course!) and Beijing Beef. It comes packed neatly in a colorful, sturdy cardboard box with 5 traditional Chinese Food boxes. We thought it was all delicious. The super greens, I LOVED it, lightly seasoned, cooked just right. The shrimp held up nicely despite being a deep fried dish, and of course the orange chicken was inhaled. The spicy beef was actually spicy (and yummy). For steam table chinese food, I like it. And this entire area has no ACTUAL chinese food locations so unless I wanna whip out the wok this'll do. I'm disappointed in the 'time appointment' feature of the app being ignored, I was leaving Ocean Park, WA and placed the online order, and set the time 45 minutes later. This business is breaking the law. For about 3 months at least they have not been accepting cash. Their excuse is they don't have a safe. I asked her isn't it against the law and she said it's not her manager won't take cash because of a fine. I have family in the area so every time I've visited town this has been their excuse for months. If you search online it definitely says it's illegal. There are penalties for doing what they're doing. I hope they are held responsible for their lack of competency and responsibility as a business. read more

Moved here almost 8 years ago and never tried the Panda Express here in Warrenton. Well today I tried it. I walked in, not very busy only one woman in front of me. The woman got helped, then I was left standing, waiting and more waiting to get help. No one would make eye contact. I walked back and forth looking at the food and maybe an acknowledgment, but no acknowledgment no eye contact. I waited a little bit longer then decided to leave. I eat at this location all the time and love it. I started going inside to order recently because it has been quicker. I went on January 30th at around 6:30 pm. I ordered my food, and said I would wait for the orange chicken (just a couple minutes). The lady helping me was named Vicki, I believe. She was extremely kind. When I sat down to wait for the food, it appeared that the manager, or some male coworker was upset with her for something, and raised his voice almost to the point of what would be considered yelling. Exceedingly aggressive nonetheless. When Vicki listened to what he said, then walked away, she said something along the lines of, "I guess I'll deal with it". In response, the male coworker/manager said, "yeah, you do have to just deal with it" again very aggressively. I do not know the details beyond what I explained, but regardless of what happened, whatever was worth getting so aggressive about should have been handled much better, in the back, without so much attitude. After all of that, Vicki still handed me my food with a smile and a very kind goodbye. I love the food, but will leave this review at one star until I get a response from the manager as to what happened, or stating that it has been handled, and the workers do not actually get talked to that way. No one should be treated like that, regardless of the mistake that was made. read more

Basic menus items are always on a wait and the front of the store is always full of people waiting on their orders. Seems like a management problem. Went through the drive thru and ordered a medium size box of honey walnut shrimp. Of course being that I went through the drive-thru I didn't look in the box until I got home only to find out that they only fill the Box 3/4 of the way. I called to speak to the manager but the manager wasn't in so I called the toll free customer service number and spoke to corporate and they said that the Box should have been filled to the top. They were very quick to remind me of the up charge because it's shrimp which I have no problem with I was just disappointed in the fact that they only filled it three-quarters of the way. On a subsequent visit I ordered a shrimp bowl and it came with five shrimp on top again I question was that all the shrimp I get and customer service said there should have been seven shrimp. Again very quick too tell you about the up charge but I feel that it's becoming a habit for this establishment to short-change you when it comes to the giving you the correct amount of product. I spoke to customer service in detail and they told me that someone would be getting back to me from that store but nobody ever has. Very disappointed with customer service. The quality of the food fluctuates; when they first opened they had a quality team, probably flown in to get the place started off in the right direction. This restaurant is honestly awful. Me and my boyfriend have been ordering from here and I can't tell you the amount of times we're either missing food or just have a completely incorrect order. It's crazy how when we both order they still seem to miss giving us a whole entrée of food. I ordered a bigger plate which looked like a plate, hardly any chicken... and I ordered a bowl for myself with super greens which they did not even give me. Warrenton Panda Express has probably the worst service possible. We ordered through the school fundraiser . An email came through at 6:02 saying our order was ready . I was in line at that time with about 15 people behind me. I told them I had a pickup order . I decided to be in line because the previous time during the last school fundraiser they hadn't started our online order and I figured they'd just make it like they did last time. Well the guy tells me "it's being worked on now." so I go to the front of the counter and wait. They finish every person behinds orders. I'm now standing in an empty Panda Express . Just me and the several people working there. The manager says "have you been helped?" I say I thought so and pointed out the guy who I talked to and told her I'd been waiting for 30 minutes now . She says "you haven't been here 30 minutes" my jaw dropped. I sent a text the minute I walked in to let my wife know I was there for the order pickup. She then finally agrees that she didn't know I was there that long because I didn't even talk to her . She then tells me they couldn't fill it because they didn't have brown rice . I saw them filling brown rice orders while I stood there. I know this because I thought it was finally ours. Even if that was the case let someone know they are out which they definitely weren't . Well then she says "we can make it now" so you aren't out anymore ? I cancelled the order. It sucks the school lost a fundraiser order. I definitely won't be going back. After having said that, and after having been to this location on multiple occasions, I and my partner have decided that we likely will NOT return or at least Extremely rarely. The service is too variable and NOT consistent. The portions have shrunken from minimal to ridiculous! Yesterday I ordered a bowl which was $6.00 and here is what I got: about half a scoop of black pepper chicken on rice. That amounted to about 3 pieces of tiny chopped chicken. My partners Beijing Beef was SOGGY and not spiced (nothing worse than soggy breading YUK!!!) On past occasions I thought that it was just growing pains, but now I see it to be the pattern. Tried to go through the drive through and was told, (by a woman through the order box) that they could not take our order unless we come inside. So my little sister and I parked and entered the building. Within two minutes an employee had successfully made my little sister cry. She then proceeded to threaten us with calling the police, while my sister stood quietly at my side not saying anything. Long time Panda Express fan. Was thrilled to see they were building one in Warrenton. Like, that was such a happy day for me when I passed by and saw the building was about ready to open. I had lunch there earlier today and it was outstanding. Had the steamed rice, orange chicken, and teriyaki chicken. I've been getting the exact same thing for the last 10 years, and I've only had a few negative food quality experiences at Panda Express locations across the country. This definitely wasn't one of them. I'll probably be a regular customer here since it's relatively close to where I live. So exciting! Food was pretty good and hot for fast food and service was good, but if you intend to dine in bring your earplugs! The sound inside the restaurant was DEAFENING !!!! Between yelling out orders for the cooks, the cooks slamming utensils on the woks, the bell ringing and banging the woks around, it was almost too much!!! May have to try drive through next time as it was an assault to the ears to dine in! Here again! How ironic... one of employees is eating Taco Bell food in the seating area where you can see them!!!
