I was staying in the hotel down the street and read the reviews for this spot recommending to come here. I will say I am SO glad I did. I love Thai and this spot had such amazing flavor, perfectly nailing the spices. I ordered panaang curry with white rice a the crab Rangoon appetizers. SO good and so much food for the price! The crab Rangoon had real crab meat and the cream cheese was perfectly sweet without being overbearing. The curry was flavorful and spicy, with veggies and added fried tofu. The rice always comes in the shape of a heart, and I loved the attention to detail. The inside was quaint and cozy, the staff was attentive and friendly. We had a great experience. We stayed in Cannon Beach and was disappointed in the dinner options....mostly fried food. We looked at Seaside only a few mins up the road and had this highly rated Thai place as an option. Large place and pretty authentic feel to the place. Beer menu was missing all of the great local beer options - which was a little disappointing. My bride ordered the Tom Kha ($17) with chicken and really enjoyed it and said it was really flavorful. We decided to try Thai Thai Fusion in Seaside, Oregon after reading so many fantastic reviews and my goodness I am glad we did. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. I had the Pad Woon Sen with beef and it was the best I have ever had. My husband ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and we also shared several appetizers including fried calamari, fried shrimp, and Crab Rangoon. Everything was fresh and full of flavor but what stood out to me most was the Crab Rangoon. It was the most generously filled and flavorful version I have ever tasted. Just incredible. The restaurant has comfortable booths and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and they even had coloring books and crayons for the kids which made the experience even better for our family. We enjoyed chatting with them and felt right at home. In fact, I loved the food so much that I came back two days later to try something different and it was just as amazing the second time. Be aware that the wait can be long but that is only because the food is that good and the service is excellent. We came during busy dinner time and so the wait for the food was long. It was probably slowed down with takeout orders as well and they seem to make it based on the order in which it was received. They have great service otherwise and the staff are very friendly. At the end of the meal, they offered my toddler to choose a toy as a gift which I love and have never seen before. The food was great; particularly the pad kee mao. I loved the amount, and how the veggies were cooked. I didn't love the orange chicken because it had a lot of breading. Pricing is average. That said, they gave us 'spa water' you know cucumber kinda things added, bit didnt tell us so we all thought we had dirty glasses or tasted soap on our waters glasses. Usually, when I try a new Thai restaurant, I come away relatively satisfied, but mildly disappointed. That is NOT the case here. Some of the best Thai food I've had in quite a while. Chicken Pad kee mao, basil chicken and egg rolls were ordered. The rice noodles were a bit thinner than I am used to but absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked. Loved the fresh veggies and heat the dish provided. Couldn't get enough of this. Extremely well balanced the basil chicken also had green beans and mushrooms. Simply delicious. The egg rolls were a disappointment though. Mushy flavorless filling inside a crisp shell. Service and ambiance was spot on! Decent prices. First of all let me start by saying I had been here before and it was good an Army friend recommended it to my husband and I. We stopped by tonight the shrimp Thai fried rice was subpar it was dry tasteless the orange chicken was just batter no chicken. We took some friends hyping this place up. Really horrible tonight the service was rude and it seemed like the tall waiter didn't want to be there. The owner or waitress seemed overwhelmed and came off a bit rude as well. We came here for some healthier options as one person in our party is dieting. We were quickly greeted and sat. Service was friendly. Gave us some trivia cards while we waited for our food. One of us had Pad Kee Mao with chicken level 4 spice. Not bad, needed a little more chicken though. The portion I took home was just noodles and a few veggies--I like for the veggies and meat ratio to noodles to be more even so that I am not just eating noodles. It seemed to lack a little flavor. The portion I ended up taking home tasted better the next day with a little more of the level 4 heat coming through. We also had the yellow curry with chicken spice level one. The person that ordered it said it was a little spicy--but this of course is a person that doesnt like any spice. Once again, could have used some more chicken. Some bao buns were ordered and enjoyed, as well as some Satay Chicken with stir fried veggies, and edamame. We were also served some complimentary chicken congee. It could have used some more ginger--but otherwise was good. I hope that this business can make a few improvements as I can definitely see some potential. Wow! I did not expect to get the best Khao soi in a long time in Seaside, Oregon! The Yellow curry soup was sweet, savory and had the perfect amount of soft noodles and crispy noodles topped with red onions and a lime to add a little sour. Seriously, just get this dish and you will be so happy! The only downside was the salad rolls were mostly lettuce...I usually expect them to be mostly rice noodles. The peanut sauce was tasty and delicious. The hot Thai tea was free! The service was top notch and we were very well taken care of, water glasses were filled and dirty dishes taken promptly away! What a welcoming and warm service - it always wins extra points with me when people in the service industry are actually nice. It's sad that we live in times when rudeness is the norm but it always surprises me when customer-facing industries consider than the norm too. Anyways, I would eat here every weekend if I lived close by because eating out to me is as much about service as the food - and both were so wonderful over here. We had the Tom Kha soup, which was one of the best I've had in the U.S. And a stirfry, which was also surprisingly flavorful. Clean and spacious restaurant. Easy to find parking. Our server was so sweet, she even gave us a little card game to play while waiting for our food. We got the bao bun, crab Rangoon, chicken satay with peanut sauce, and vegetable gyoza. Everything was so, so good. I was craving Asian food and this really hit the spot. My family came here based on the many positive reviews; unfortunately none of us were impressed at all. My wife and oldest both had a curry and it was disturbingly bland and the rice was overcooked and mushy, our youngest and myself both ordered the orange chicken; the orange chicken was void of any flavor and was like eating chicken jerky in a greasy fried crust. The sauce had no resemblance of an orange chicken sauce and the sauce had a texture which resembled ooblek. I ordered pineapple fried rice with shrimp and an iced Thai tea, and let me tell you it was the best flavorful food I had. My order was to go, and while I was sitting waiting for the food to be freshly made, they offered me cucumber water and cater to me while I was sitting there and waiting for my food. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're ever visiting the area of Seaside, Oregon. The only thing I found negative was the lack of parking. It was very limited. read more
