I'm rating this relative to the many other Panda Express's I've been to. This one just wasn't that good. The orange chicken - usually a standout - wasn't crispy and was on the bland side. Everything other than the black pepper chicken was underseasoned, and it took a good helping of additional soy sauce to get the fried rice into a remotely tasty state. My husband wanted broccoli beef, the employee took the last spoonful they had which looked hours old and loaded it onto my husbands plate. I asked for some fresh broccoli beef because that one looked sad. She threw it back into the serving dish so she can serve it to another guest. This grossed me out and I couldn't believe she didn't just throw it away. He opted for Ora he chicken instead. I had the same thing. We later realized she charged us for two sides , I only asked for one. I want my money back. I drove 2 hours to come here and it was the worse PE experience ever!!!! read more

Chicken is always undercooked. Cedar falls Panda Express is always on point. Definitely would make the drive to CF

Was there at noon, out of some food and a few dishes looked old. One table of people, no one else in line. Waited 5 mins to get service. 2 cooks there neither said we will be with you in a moment. They went to the back more than once to tell the employee. Out of walnut shrimp had to wait and than it came with a 1/2 a walnut. The employee had the pizazz of a soda cracker. There are 2 cooks and 2 counter employees there yet service again was mediocre. The last I was here we were backed up 6 people only one cook and counter person. Took over 20 mins to get through the line. So much for the express either time. Food I give a 4 when it's fresh. read more

Employee took our order, we ordered one thing that was out. The employee gave us a 6-8min timeframe to wait. 30min later the same employee came over to tell us they are waiting for Sweet Fire (not the one they were out of before). I asked why we were waiting on that one considering they had served like 6-10 others that entree after we had ordered ours. So the other 3 entrees sat dying in the styrofoam on the counter so they could serve others. And never got an answer, only a shrug of the shoulders. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Decent food. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. Went for teriyaki bowl with white rice and the server said "we are out of it." Really? There are bottles of the sauce at the register!!!!! No "I'm sorry" or anything. So, I got a two item plate. The five flavor shrimp was a flavor but it sure didn't include shrimp. The sweet and sour chicken had a hard coating. Won't return! read more

We made the mistake of coming in at 7:45 and everything was old and soggy. We moved from California and thought this would be the same. Not at all the store was dirty food on the floors. The employees are awesome really friendly and did make up for the bad food. read more

Don't waste your time going to this location. Go to Cedar Falls instead, or better yet, Cedar Rapids. The help here sucks, the gal literally counted 5 pieces of honey walnut shrimp for my order. They spend more time hiding in the back, make you wait then act like you're bothering them. Most of the time the rice is under cooked, like chewing rocks. You couldn't pay me to go back. read more

+ Service Dog Experience - Always has been a positive experience except for one thing. This Panda Express was having trouble with cleanliness especially food on the floor. That has turned around 100%. Watched staff clean tables by wiping crumbs onto a tray (instead of the floor) and out sweeping food off the floor. We really appreciate the turn around since we love the food. Please keep it up. For non-SD owners - Food on the floor equals a huge yuk factor because it gets mashed in when walked on and our dogs have to lay on it. read more

Probably the worst experience at a Panda restaurant that I have ever had, I should have turned and walked out but my son was starving and we were in a hurry. There was no beef and broccoli.. That's a first for me.. And what few dishes they did have looked to be hours old.. Needless to say, I won't be going back! read more

The food is good. However, the fact that if you arrive after the manager feels like shutting down is ridiculous! The restaurant closing time is 9 pm, I have arrived once at 8:20 and once at 8:08 only to be told the kitchen is closed and I would have to pick from the items under the hot lamp! Some of which looked like it had been sitting for a good portion of the day! Needless to say, in the future I will go to cedar falls if I want Panda Express. Also, even if you arrive during "good" hours, you may have to deal with an attitude if what you order has to be made fresh! Good food, poor manager customer service! read more

I love the orange chicken, it's addictive, usually I avoid chinese retaurants like the plague because cheap gamy cuts of meat that are tough are gross.. Panada express I haven't ran into that problem yet! read more

We used to love Panda Express chains about 10 years ago. The food and price is awful now. We ate at this one in Waterloo because it was the first stand alone building Panda Express we had seen and wanted to try it, forgetting the awful food. This one was awful again. The Orange Chicken only has a tiny amount of actual chicken meat, while the rest is breading that is overcooked/too crunchy to even bite through. The fried rice had lots of hard uncooked pieces of rice in it that you almost break a tooth on. The sweet and sour chicken was mostly pineapple and bell peppers, with an occasional piece of chicken thrown in. The prices are too high on top of all that. Awful food that they have streamlined into a money making chain. read more
