These guys really can't even do the bare minimum. My wife ordered a bowl of fried rice with beef and broccoli and it was pretty much just broccoli. Maybe one sad piece of beef in there. Are the employees blind? Are they stupid? Who does this?

The look of the restaurant inside has changed a few times. when I was there last there was a casual seating area at the back of the restaurant. There were people there waiting for takeout orders. I really enjoyed the great chow mein with the beef. Next time I might try it with chicken or pork because the beef was a little hard to chew for my liking. The noodles tasted delicious and flavorful. I always have to order the cold cucumber salad. It is a great accompaniment to any dish. I added the peanuts to the cucumbers because I really like them together so if you order the cucumbers, they will not come with peanuts. It is a strange request, but they accommodated me with no problem. They had a case at the front of the restaurant with grapes and strawberries, skewered and coated in a crunchy sugary coating. It was a little bit messy, but I did not mind because it tasted so good. The strawberries were super sweet, fresh and juicy with a thin, sweet crunchy shell. I will try the grapes next time. Thank you for the delicious food

We stumbled upon Great Wall and gave it a shot. The inside was a little different in a weird way. There was only three tables in the front and the back had a lounge area. I believe there were more tables hidden behind the curtain. We ordered: Fried rice - the corn in the fried rice tasted almost spoiled Beef brocoli - the beef was tender but not as tasty or fresh Garlic ribs - cut into small portions was not what I expected and a little dry Only great was the service and those fruit on a stick in the glass counter. The high prices was not worth it.

Passed by here for years and finally thought to come try it…read more We got the chicken finger appetizer for our two small kids. And my wife and I got the sushi. The chicken tenders were actually better than I expected. The breading they used (which seems to be the same as what they use on the deep fried sushi) went really well with the chicken. The sushi I'd say was a solid 3.5 stars out of 5. The size of the rolls I felt were a little larger than normal (judging based on the fact my wife and I couldn't finish four rolls, when normally we are ready for more after that). The portions of fish were generous and the rice was nice and fluffy (though so fluffy that some of the rolls fell apart fairly easily). There was one deep fried roll with avocado, shrimp, and cream cheese that was way too plain. It didn't taste bad, but wasn't good enough to force myself to finish the roll. One interesting note was the wasabi they used. I've never seen wasabi that was this light pale color and more "watery" than typical wasabi. It was also far spicier, which is a good thing. The service was also SUPER friendly. The waitress was super attentive, and the sushi chef actually came out and talked to us for a bit . I'm definetly interested in coming back to try a few other rolls and try some of their other food offerings

The restaurant is spotless, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the staff is genuinely friendly and kind. The food was amazing, everything fresh and flavorful. The drinks were perfectly cold, and the egg rolls were crispy and cooked just right. I wasn't feeling well so we needed to leave sooner than planned. The staff immediately showed real concern, made sure we had everything packed up to finish at home, and our server even encouraged me kindly to go rest. That level of care is rare. And the best part? The food was just as delicious when we reheated it later. They've absolutely earned us as loyal customers, and I highly recommend giving them a try.

A longtime favorite for authentic Cantonese food and excellent dim sum!…read more Amazing dim sum options, especially on the weekends when the carts roll out hot and fresh. The Siu Mai (pork and shrimp) is savory and juicy -- definitely one of my favorites. I also tried the Shrimp with Chive Dumplings, and they were surprisingly excellent: juicy, savory, with a nice fresh onion flavor. The Steamed BBQ Pork Buns are pillowy soft and practically melt in your mouth with their sweet shredded pork filling. Pro tip: Just eat the fried shrimp balls! The sweet and lightly mustard-tangy sauce that comes with them, combined with some sweet chili sauce, is absolute heaven. Just don't burn your mouth when they bring them out fresh from the fryer -- you're welcome. Order 3 dim sum plates if you're hungry, or 4 if you're starving or sharing with others. It's the perfect amount! The service is good -- friendly and attentive -- but it can get a little slow when they're busy, which is often. You can tell this is a popular spot that's been a favorite in the area for many years. The large groups that regularly file into the private dining room in the back say it all. Whether you're coming for weekend dim sum, a big family meal, or classic Cantonese dishes, Red Maple consistently delivers that comforting, high-quality experience. Highly recommend -- I've been back many times and will go again soon!

A lot of the food like beef and broccoli and orange chicken look like it was the last serving or two a young lady came in after me and once we put our servings of each food, the owner then had to cook I was kind of disappointed because the beef and broccoli sounded amazing, but the actual look of it wasn't really appealing. The noodles were kind of flat, not like what I'm used to more rounded egg noodles. The fried rice had ham in it and I don't eat pork. They had a lot of different options. Shrimp was included. Teriyaki beef what they called. And extras were the wonton, sesame balls, veggie eggrolls, etc... I took my main side as noodles, then sides as beef and broccoli, beef teriyaki, and tempura shrimp. They asked at the end if you want Sawsan they add it to your compartment you pay roughly $11 and change. I like the noodles I didn't love them, beef and broccoli was good. Probably would've been better if it was fresh. The shrimp was pretty tasty with the side sauce. Kind of reminded you sweet honey and walnut temporary shrimp that you get from other places. Just without the walnuts and the sauce on the side, which is pretty nice because sometimes you can get too sweet. The fried beef teriyaki, absolutely not. That was by far probably the worst thing I've tasted. The meat did not taste like meat. I ended up taking a bite and throwing it out. Honestly, I think if you can get the food super fresh when they put it out it probably taste a lot better so that's why I gave it three out of five stars. One for the customer service, two for most of the food being decent, and three for the simplicity of putting whatever you want basically self-serve.. Until next time, happy yelping

This tastes like mom's kitchen if mom had a high flamed gas stove. The dishes that benefited from that smoky hot wok flavor had it. I was so excited to eat I forgot to take pics of all the dishes at the table. Green beans with garlic was so tasty, I finished the leftovers the same night, I remembered to take a photo in the takeout container. The cauliflower (I don't know the actual name but it's stir fried, spicy and comes with peppers) had wok hei and I couldn't stop eating it. Beef rolls is the sophisticated auntie of the scallion pancake. Think of it like an asian burrito with thin sliced beef, fresh scallion and cilantro, and a touch of hoisin all hugged together with a crispy tasty scallion pancake. The shredded potato tastes like the best potato salad that isn't your picnic potato salad. The shredded potatoes were quickly blanched then stir fried preserving the crunch and crispness similar to al dente pasta. Seasoning was on point. The homiest flavor came from the stewed short rib. The rib pieces were braised in a soy and star anise sauce like what you find in Taiwanese beef noodle soup. The peels potatoes were cut rustically and just cooked through and not mushy. Authentic flavors and freshness like this is so so hard to come by. I can taste the quality of the ingredients used. One tip I have for selecting authentic food is by looking at the customers. If the customers are all Asian eating at an Asian restaurant, you know the food is going to be good. Service was 10/10, waitress was super polite and stopped by to chat with us about the food and SLC. I am from out of town but I grew up eating at NYC Asian restaurants and this is as good as if not better. If you happen to stop by the largest Costco in the world, make a pit stop here to refuel after all those steps.

Don't let the quiet atmosphere fool you, though; the food and service were both top-tier. If you're a fan of shrimp, this is your spot. We ordered the Walnut Shrimp and Sweet and Sour Shrimp, and I was impressed by the size--they were massive! Even better, they managed to stay perfectly crispy even after being tossed in the sauce. Another standout was the Singapore Noodles, which had a unique Thai curry-style vibe that was really flavorful. We went with the lunch/dinner combination plates, which came with soup. Both the Hot and Sour and Egg Flower were great starts to the meal, though the Hot and Sour was my personal favorite. For the main course, we compared the Tangerine Chicken and the Orange Chicken. While both were delicious, I'd recommend the Tangerine chicken if you're looking for a bit more depth of flavor. I really get behind the "home cooking" feel here. It's a very low-key, basic spot that focuses on quality food and fast service rather than flashiness. It feels like a true family-run restaurant. Definitely worth a visit in West Valley!
