Our family are here tonight and it was disappointing. My husband tried the new spicy chicken sandwich and a salad. He said it was good. Son had a brisket grilled cheese and a chocolate mousse dessert. He said they were both just okay. I asked for a half clam chowder. What I received was not clam chowder. It had peppers and cheese in it and no clams. It was not a chowder consistency either. I took it up to the counter where I was told that they are made in the morning and someone has been messing up the recipes. Good grief. I opted for chicken noodle. Food was eh. I didn't expect a lot but figured it would be just normal food. I got a Strawberry Harvest salad with a Turkey Avocado club. It had no avocado on it. The salad was ok. The lettuce was a little old. The service was slow and extremely unorganized. The chocolate covered strawberries are nothing special. The environment would be good for a meet up or out with kids. They have good accommodations for kids, large tables. I think it could use some improvement in the food and service portion. I wouldn't recommend getting food to go if you are in a hurry. I can't vouch if it's all locations but this location is taking lots of short cuts and staff is not up to par with customer service. Portions size have went down hill and there house made drinks are so watered down now. Sandwiches are ok. Observed the staff messed up some orders and took a while to get me my man to berry salad all the other items and like sandwich and Nestorian bowl were up pretty fast. Made a big order for our Optical office meeting and one of the sandwiches had a toothpick inside, I bit into it, the toothpick was grilled into the sandwich it was gross. The staff making the food was very knowledgeable; and very friendly, they took our orders fast and knew exactly how we wanted them made. The only problem I had is the lack of drinks to choose from, and that cashier seemed clueless of what she was doing i hope she learns faster. She definitely messed my order up with someone else order and then tried to charge me more than i should have been and all she told me was sorry I'm new: I'm not trying to be mean but being new has nothing to do with taking your time and taking a deep breathe. Haven't been here in a while and Harmon's grocery soup wasn't looking so good lately.. but had this craving for some chicken noodle. So I go to Zupas. Haven't been here in awhile.. got a turkey bacon w soup combo. Got to the soup and asked to see the chicken noodle. Ok so they don't put the noodles in the broth based soup, I get that, looked a little lean on the veggies and chicken.. anyway. So at the register, i saw the soup.. totally looked half full through the lid and I asked if I could get some more broth in the cup.. broth sounded nice to the belly. Aaaaannnnnnnnd They said no... "we have a fill line so it cannot overflow from the lid." I'm like um ok then. $10.20 plz. So I get home and open my soup... like 4 oz of broth in a 12 oz cup. Pic below. Disappointed because Infusions are the only reason I pay for drinks otherwise I just get water. Well today is my 3rd time here, still no infusions, good thing I went and check before ordering. When I asked if they didn't do infusions anymore the lady looked confused and told me there were on the other side.
