Honestly, I'm just writing this to combat the nonsense reviews. I've gone here for years and have NEVER had problems. Sure, one off things can happen, and yes, if you go during lunch or dinner time there could be some kind of wait in line or wait for them to make your little specific item that you absolutely can't live without. Whatever the case, the staff is always kind, patient, and considerate. The place looks and smells clean. And most of the time you can go in, hear them all say welcome, you order whatever you want, check out right away, and leave. I've only been shorted on the portions maybe a few times, but most of the time it's what you'd expect (or a little extra if you're respectful!). So please, just please, be reasonable. If they close in 10 minutes, they are not going to fire up the woks again just to make you a little batch of whatever floats your boat. If you want an ego trip, go to a real fast food place, but stay away from my Panda Express. read more

We visit the panda location on west rd often. More days than not the bins are empty or running very low which reduces options. I have to choose whatever is there and most times it's the fried options that are full to capacity while the healthy options are empty. I can't understand why they don't scan for refills well ahead of time but instead they wait for the final scoop to call out to the cook. read more

I don't mind paying for it, however when you shove tons of large pieces of broccoli stems that are not edible but instead a choking hazard into the carton and proceed to only give a couple tiny pieces of steak is bullcrap! and also an up charge for shrimp and you count out only 4 to 5 of them. this place is cheap and a rip off! 14 bucks for a child size portion of stems and peppers! Updated review :: First time I went in for super greens I was delighted with my meal choice along with mushroom chicken so I decided to go back for another lunch , the mushroom chicken had mostly fatty chicken not the nice juicy nuggets of chicken that was so delicious before , my rice was crunchy which is NOT a good surprise at all and the egg roll I got was almost to crispy and had a burnt flavor . Only thing I did like this time around was the flavor of the super greens . Rice was perfectly cooked portions are generous on my plate of fried rice angus steak/orange chicken. The orange chicken was perfect crunchy and chewy. Angus steak was good the steak was tender and juicy, onions were caramelizing at the tips and soft in the middle and the broccoli was soft it absorbed the sauce. Overall my food was amazing and the girls severing it were great. My only complaint was one of the cooks. One poor girl was helping a man who was already upset and yelling at her because they were cooking one of the entrees he wanted and he had to wait, which nowadays everyone is impatient. But, when the other began to ask one of the cooks how long it was going to be or tell him that they needed something made he gave her EXTREME attitude. It was very unpleasant for me to stand there. I understand he may have been under a lot of pressure but there was no need for him to act like that especially with us customers standing there waiting for our food to watch him repeatedly snap at her, roll his eyes, and shake his head. This Panda Express just opened near where I work and we decided to try it out today. Although they though don't serve authentic Chinese food it's what you'd expect from any food court style, Americanized Chinese restaurant. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was plenty but they didn't seem very interested in the customers. Not much personal attention is given. My online order wasn't ready at the promised time as they were out of orange chicken at the moment. With that being said the food is decent. Nothing that really stands out above any other Chinese place. It's good for a quick meal and the portions are decent for the price. I'll go back but my expectation will be mediocre like my experience today. read more

I placed an online order, and my husband went and picked it up. The order was ready on time, and did have the correct food. That was the only good thing about this review. As I was eating I noticed the chow mein had HAIR in it. I called the restaurant really just to inform them what was going on, because I know that things happen and I get that. I really wish I remembered the guys name who answered the phone because after telling him about the hair he repeatedly said over and over "a hair? I can't imagine how a hair got in there. There are only men working, so I don't know how it got in there." He said this at least a dozen times. I am not lying about the hair and that is not how you handle the situation. As a side note, there was a woman working there. So telling me over and over again that there were only men there was a complete lie. You should have just apologized instead of saying you had no idea how it got in there. After this guy saying the same thing over again really trying to hint at the fact that I was lying, which I was not. He finally said: "Well, I don't know how the hair got in there. But I could put a credit under your name for ONLY the item that had the hair in it. Nothing else. I can put it under your name for 30 days." I don't care that they're only putting a credit on my account for the chow mein. It's how to guy said it. I've been in the service industry a long time, and how the guy handled it wasn't appropriate at all. Also, check out to see if you have hair in your food. We eat here a lot because our teenagers love it. The orange chicken is delicious, but I could honestly do without the rest of it. We place our order online, but it's never ready on time. They always just start owing it when we walk in, which is whatever. Cup half full-we jump to front of the line. The staff here is very friendly, I'll give them that. Worst experience EVER!!! Went to pick up some take out for my wife's birthday. When I placed my order two of the entrees I chose were out and I was told it would be a few minutes. Well after waiting a half hour, halfway through I asked what was taking so long and told they were now waiting on chow me in, I asked to speak with the manager. She comes out of the back area, where she had been almost the entire time I had been waiting. I told her I wanted a refund , that I had been Waiting for a half hour and this was ridiculous. She said "ok", voided the order and went back into the back. No apologies or anything. We decided to come here on a Friday around 3:30. We just left an Emagine show movie and this place is relatively new. We have never had Panda express and for some reason thought there was a drive thru. Upon entering there was a line of maybe 7 people in what looked like buffet/cafeteria style serving. I honestly would have left but my mother wanted to try it. The food looked dried out and about 4 of the first woks were empty, one which we wanted to try which was a chili shrimp. After figuring out the menu we each got a plate, which consists of one side and 2 entrees. The 1 side is the same size as the 2 entrees. For mine i got chow mein noodles side, beef and broccoli and orange chicken. Mom got chow mein side, some steak dish and i believe chicken. The staff was pretty friendly but we had very little talking with them, basically pile ur food on and move on. When sitting down we both came to the same conclusion, the chow mein had no flavor and tasted like it wad dipped in none flavored grease, but everything else tasted spicy and exactly the same. You would think with 4 other different dishes thete would be variety but it tasted like it came out of the same wok. We ended up taking it homr, putting soy sause on it to try and doctor it up and eat it. Also they charged mom 1.50 for the steak extra but it was not listed on the board nor was she told. It was just yuck. Not worth trying, if rather go across the street to the Chinese buffet where there is some variety for the same price as this place. We wont be returning. read more

DO NOT GO. Seriously. It's really gross. Absolutely horrible food and worse service. Broccoli was under cooked, while all other vegetables are mushy, the meat is nothing but fat and gristle. Teriyaki chicken? How about gross fat, watery lumps of gray matter connected by strings of fat. I got more peanuts in the kung pow chicken than meat and vegetables combined. I didn't even mention the horrible, disgusting service yet. No covid protocols being used "because they're busy".....yeah, spreading disease. I was hung up on by not one, but TWO "managers" because they didn't have authorization to replace the food or refund my money and "didn't know what I wanted" when I asked for my money back. If you ask for their corporate number, no manager is apparently privileged enough to get that information......or they're lazy, I bet on the latter. As I stood in line to order, I noticed a few pieces of shrimp in the chow mein. The worker saw me looking at it and nonchalantly picked them out, then continued about his routine. Now, as someone who is very allergic to sea food, I would've ordered this and been in the hospital within an hour. Cross contamination is the first no-no of any food service business. My favorite Panda Express to visit! Food is always fresh and hot and the staff is friendly and straight forward. The only times that they "run" out of food is near closing, which I totally understand. Lots of lighting inside, and plenty of seating areas.
