One of my favorite Chinese take out restaurants in my local area, the food is great, staff is extremely kind and the prices are reasonable. We have been ordering from here since I was a child, never a disappointment. Dining in is not a preferred option at this location. This is a typical take-out bring it at home Chinese restaurant. One thing keeping this from being 5 stars for me , LOL, is the fact their Crab Rangoon's are very expensive and not deep fried to perfection. I don't believe most people realize that it's all just cream cheese filling. I don't taste even the smallest sample of crab in the Rangoon's. I have made Crab Rangoon's before at home with an equal amount of crab / filling and I have deep fried loads at home that taste way better and 10x crisper, and it's significantly cheaper. I was wildly disappointed the last time we got take out. I got the food home and thought something right off the bat didn't smell right. I don't know if the oil was overdue to be changed or what, but anything that we had in our order that was fried, went directly into the trash. $60 out the window. It not only smelled bad, but tasted bad! This was a couple months ago, but I have not been back since. It really threw me off after that experience. If your looking for a visually appealing restaurant this wouldn't be the place, nor do they advertise this. A few tables to sit and eat but their main business is take away/delivery. Revisited the Panda Garden 2 after avoiding it for 12 yrs. 2 weeks ago. Pleasantly surprised the food has gotten better. The fried rice on the other hand was weak in flavor. It could have been seasoned more. The food tasted fresh witch is the reason why i quit the place 12yrs ago after being served sour food on a couple of occasions. This review has been a long time coming. We live around the corner from this place and have tried it on and off for years. While their dinners were always great we were never a fan of their fried food. It always had a taste the we thought may be old oil. I have no idea what changed this year. I don't know if the kind of oil change or if they started changing it more whatever! This place is now our go to for Chinese food. The food is always fresh ready on time and fantastic!! If you haven't tried Panda Garden 2 in awhile give it a shot. If I could have given it 10 stars I would! And we are picky on Chinese food. read more

Chinese food! In the Brookfields! That delivers!!!!! Yay? Well, not exactly. My husband and I ordered from here one day on a whim. After driving by it many times before, the sign must've caught our eye, as it's really tucked back in an odd spot, so we never really noticed it. It tasted OK. Not bad, not great. Typical Chinese food. On our 3rd visit, my husband picked it up. Same as before, usual Chinese meals. Tasted fine, price was cheap, done deal... Until 12:00am. My husband was up sick, vomiting and in the bathroom all night long. We ordered completely different meals and I was fine. To figure out if it was the food, I called them the next afternoon to inquire if anyone else had called in about getting sick. I told them my husband was ill all night after eating their food. Without hesitation, the man on the phone didn't ask any questions. He just said "Come in with card you pay with and we give money back." Umm, so it was the food? You're not even going to dispute this? His response seemed way to nonchalant for a possible case of food poisoning from his establishment. We decided that after this, we'd better not risk it again. read more

It's not bad. Let's be honest, it is a takeout only establishment. There are some pretty good places to eat in East Brookfield. This isn't one of them. However, if you are looking for takeout, it'll do the trick. If you are in the mood for good Chinese, head into the city. We just Moved back to Spencer and we used to get takeout from here years ago. We ordered out regular fried extravaganza and were very disappointed. Beef teriyaki had the texture of jerky. I was really excited to hear that there was delivery to my house. I ordered at 3:30 and was told an hour for delivery, which is totally fine. What's not fine is the fact that the delivery was an hour late. I called and asked about the status of my delivery at 4:50 and was told that it was still on time and that I'd ordered at 4. After informing him that I'd ordered at 3:30, he put me on hold. Picked up the phone and said they're busy. Obviously. Didn't apologize until I mentioned how unacceptable it was that my order hadn't even gotten into a car to be delivered to me yet. Didn't offer a discount or even attempt to make it right. Got my food and it wasn't even hot. It was my first time ordering and my last, they obviously aren't interested in customer service. read more
