Pretty solid food in a town that doesn't have a heck of a lot of options. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, vegetable fried rice, and spicy and tangy chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was solid, as was three fried rice although the "veggies" were a couple broccoli florets, some smaller mushrooms, and a couple snow peas. The spicy and tangy chicken was mostly mushrooms and as another reviewer mentioned, wasn't really spicy. That being said, the sauce in the dish was delicious. We got all dishes to go and they came with silverware and fortune cookies. The building is nothing fancy- it has about 12 tables or so and is clean. The staff were very friendly and the food was ready in about 10 minutes. We also appreciated that it was open later than the majority of other places in town. read more

We ordered takeout last night. It was amazing. I ordered the chicken wings & beef with mushrooms - scallions. My Bride had fried wontons @ vegetable egg foo young. White rice & fried rice came with the meals. The food was fresh & hot. The portions were huge. Lots of awesome food for a very reasonable price. Best Chinese food we have had in a long time. 4 or 5 stars should have been rated and given to this Chinese restaurant, but 2 of those were withdrawn due to the lack of greetings by the employees at this restaurant. That poorly trained female employee at this restaurant had acted poorly and unprofessionally as she didn't greet me as a customer, who was there and dined in around 2 weeks ago. She didn't say "hi" or "hello" to me and that's bad attitude. When I had walked in the restaurant on that day around the noon time, I even greeted them by saying "hello" several times when I couldn't see nobody in the restaurant at that moment. Suddenly, that female employee or worker appeared at the front desk and she voiced up as I could hear she was far behind me. But she was impolitely to greet me with just one word "ey!" while I was finding a cleaned table, but I couldn't find any of them to sit down while all messy things on tables in the middle of dinning room were not cleaned yet. I suggest and remind to those employees should reeducate or retrain yourself and be courteous - You must greet any customer with the word like "hi" or "hello", not saying or calling any customer "ey". And it was your bad fault when you hadn't greeted me first when I walked in for lunch at your restaurant. read more

My go to Chinese food place. Honestly I would eat here every night if I could. They have the best pork lo mein and cashew chicken. Other than the fact that they recently raised their prices, I have absolutely no complaints. They're quick, nice, and open late. read more

We have recently moved to the area and have chosen this spot as our favorite for Chinese. I will usually get the vegetable lo mein and my husband gets the cashew chicken. It is always very good and much larger portions than either of us can finish. The staff is always friendly and good at juggling their guests when it gets busy. read more

I placed a pick up order for Fried cheese wontons Chicken lo mein Soft drink Beef with broccoli Steamed chicken with vegetables Steamed rice Although the food was delicious they lost all their points when they blamed the customer for their mistake. When I ordered the fried cheese wontons I asked if there was only cheese and they said yes. After eating the main entrees I took a bite out of the fried cheese wontons (which are completely sealed) and while chewing I noticed a meaty texture. I looked at what I had just taken a bite out of and there was red flakes in it. So I called back and asked AGAIN if there was only cheese in their fried cheese wontons appetizer. The woman said yes and so I asked her what the red meat was in it and she said, "It's crab meat." So I told her, "I just asked you if there was only cheese in there and you said yes. Now you're saying there is crab meat in there too." And she replied with, "Yes." I explained to her that I'm allergic to shellfish and I was told twice there was only cheese and their menu says "fried cheese" and doesn't make a note of seafood being in it. She just kept repeating that there was crab meat so I asked to speak to the man there and after explaining the exact same thing he asked if I needed to go to the hospital and I said, "I only took a small bite and spit out most of it so I'm not sure. If I start having a reaction then yes." I asked him again why I was told twice it was only cheese and there's no indication on the menu of seafood being in it. He told me they can't put all ingredients in it like sugar and flour and I told him that's not what I'm asking, that's common sense when it comes to food but to advertise as cheese then put crab meat, it's not that hard to put a fish symbol next to it like they do with the chili symbol for spicy foods. He then snapped at me, "WELL YOU TOOK A BITE OF IT AND DIDN'T NOTICE SO IT'S YOUR FAULT." What?! Again, the other food was delicious but this encounter and blaming the customer for their mistake is unacceptable. read more

The food is great, but the service is horrible. There was only one server who seemed to have no interest in being there. My drink was empty before the food came and was never refilled. Half of our main course came, then the appetizers, then the third main course dish, and the final one five minutes later. One of the dishes was incorrect and when we brought it to the servers attention he argued with us and showed us what he wrote down, which just shows he didn't get the order right. We also saw him arguing with another guest across the restaurant about an incorrect order. Just get take out, have them read back the order, and double check it when you pick it up. read more

OK, so this is Needles. Really. Rural Chinese food is often barely passable, but this is a true exception. The food is quite good - and would be considered quite good even in an urban setting. Tastes good, doesn't use MSG, and generous portions. If service matters to you, take off a star - the service is sullen, but not slow. read more

The chicken when eaten had me thinking about how old it was. The meat was all dry, chewy and flavorless. I spit out more food than I ate. Anyways, I woke up the next morning and I'm throwing up alot.
