I've been ordering their food for over 3years now. I know when I don't want to cook and I can rely on Panda House. Specially the general Tso, is the best I ever had! And their customer service! One time the Qmenu delivery guy didn't show up, and the Owner called me and re -arrange the delivery process for me! She is so awesome! Ordered takeout. We live 25 minutes from the restaurant and the food was still hot and delicious when we got it home! Crab rangoons, egg rolls both delicious. The food was just as good as last time, but the staff this time was outstanding. One gentleman opened the door for us to enter, and the woman behind the counter was as sweet as could be, and one of the chefs in the kitchen (which is visible from the counter) even waved at us as we stepped up. Honestly felt like we were walking into a family member's house, right on time for dinner. Words cannot describe how much that elevated my experience here. We placed our order (2 qts of hot and sour soup) and barely waited about 10 minutes for it, with several people having been in front of us, all of which received their orders quickly as well. Each time I've visited, the staff has been equipped with hardworking people, which is awesome. When we got home and opened those quarts, the smell WAFTED through the kitchen. Omg. This is a solid Chinese food takeout place. The food has flavor, is good quality, and was fast. We ordered the Singapore mei fun and the Kung Pao chicken combination with pork fried rice. Small place that's like a mom and pop restaurant. Only one or two tables; it's not really a sit down to eat place as most people do pickups. Takes a while to get your order but the food is delicious. We had no idea what to eat so decided on Panda House based 0n some positive reviews. I ordered mixed vegetables extra extra spicy with rice. The sauce had no spice but it had good flavor. The vegetables included mainly broccoli which was disappointing since I expected mixed veggies...I had one piece of carrot and a couple of pieces of mushrooms. UPDATED REVIEW: I'm a regular patron of this restaurant and it pains me to say the food quality has severely gone down here. If you order a dish with fried battered beef or chicken..such as the Orange Beef/Orange Chicken..be prepared for some (but not all) very hard pieces of meat that are very hard to chew and must be spit out. This is mainly due to the common cheap restaurant technique of frying up large batches..and then re-frying them when an order comes in. It saves them time..but it ruins the food quality. The Lo Mein noodles are now very oily and over-cooked..and they have cut the amount of meat/seafood in them by about 50%..which isn't fair since they are charging the same price as before. Order anything with shrimp in it and you will literally have to hunt to find the shrimp. Their Steamed Dumplings now taste raw. The Chicken on a Stick is hard and over-cooked. The Crabmeat Rangoon Cheese Wontons are overly saturated in oil so that the cheese tastes more like lard. The Vegetable Rolls drip with oil after biting into them. The Shrimp Rolls don't taste like they have any shrimp in them. The Fried Shrimp are over-cooked and often taste slightly burnt. The Seafood Combination Lo Mein hardly has any seafood in it. The Beef Lo Mein has little beef and what is there is hard-to-chew. The House Mei Fun hardly has any meat in it. The Beef with Mushrooms is more mushrooms than beef. The Pepper Steak is 75% onion and 25% steak. The Szechuan Seafood is mainly imitation crabmeat. The Triple Delight with Garlic Sauce is mainly vegetables instead of meat. They are also using Broccoli as a cheap filler in almost everything and as of this writing are using cheap Green Beans instead of the correct Snow Peas in their dishes..which ruins the flavor because Green Beans taste nothing like Snow Peas..so make sure and tell them "no green beans" and/or "no broccoli" or your dish will be filled these. You will also notice they keep reusing the same oil for everything..because everything that is fried has the same underlying flavor..which again ruins the taste profile. Your Vegetable Roll shouldn't taste like your Shrimp Roll. And you now have to ask them for fortune cookies as they are no longer generous with them like most Asian restaurants are. I regularly place $100.00 orders and I'm lucky if I get 6 fortune cookies..and only if I ask for them. And many times the fortune cookies are stale to add insult to injury. I have postponed for about a year now writing this review..hoping the female manager of this place would realize her mistakes and improve the quality..or that maybe this was just a temporary problem. But the problems are actually getting worse. Sadly..this place has basically no competition in it's area for easy take out with online ordering..so we are stuck buying their food and hoping for the best..and being frequently disappointed now. This restaurant is cutting quality and corners left and right to save money..yet is still charging us the same prices..and it shows. We are drastically cutting down our patronage of this restaurant. read more
