People who eat any and everything such as this SLOP!, gets on my nerves! You upset the balance of getting good quality tasting food. Y'all eat anything! We had to send it back! The owner argued with my husband for returning that puke looking shrimp in lobster sauce. It had 3 tiny shrimp no peas and no carrots and the broth was slimy. The shrimp fried rice wasn't fried and the shrimp were so tiny. The owner told us not to come back because he can't waste food. He also said the people who come there eat whatever he serves them, even if it's from yesterday warmed over because they don't know. He said " I drop food pick up cook, they don't know. We were gravely disgusted after that confession. The owner did not want to give our money back. My husband had to threaten him with the police. Food was very good. I had the beef and broccoli and the beef was tender without being mushy and the broccoli was perfectly cooked. You can taste the sesame oil in the rice which I loved. My friends were disappointed the buffet was gone but everything tasted home cooked, I was pleased. read more

It's Asian-style cuisine. It is near my house and I have eaten there before. I have been getting my Chinese cuisine from another place in D'Iberville because it has been convenient. I went here a few nights ago and wasn't too impressed. My egg rolls were perfect! They were crispy and warm. Very nice. My Moo goo gai pan is another story. For the over $12 bucks I paid for it... the serving was somewhat small. The tiny bucket of rice was practically non-existent. The same order at my other place with bigger portions AND soup is only $11. Like I said.. food isn't bad but I get more bang for my bucks at my other place in D'Iberville. Oh, be warned, there is a very complex contrivance that has been erected to get your payment, sign your bill, and receive your food. Just be prepared. Its... unconventional.. but they got o do what they got to do to be safe. We live in those times. read more

This restaurant food didn't have any flavor to it just bland. Only have take out, which ok. I ordered chow mein which is just vegetables with meat, but not according to the menu should have had pan fried noodles. The rice was ok but the shrimp was not clean and has legs still attached. read more

Absolutely disgusting. Order generals chicken and they sent what I think was sweet and sour pork. The appetizers combo was either old food re fried or they dug it out of yesterday's garbage. It just might be the worst food in Pascagoula. Just don't do. You're better off going to the store and getting a frozen box of Chinese food microwaving it and letting it sit out for a couple days before eating. You've been warned. read more

My fiancé and I were craving some cheap Chinese food, and this place more than delivered. We each ordered the family style dinner. His came with general chicken, and I had spicy shrimp and vegetables. Our food came out piping hot, which made us both very happy. The family dinner also came with fried rice, a delicious egg roll, and soup. Bonus points for the silly message in our fortune cookie. Our server was great, the food was incredible, and we will definitely be back. It's nice to find a gem in your backyard sometimes. read more

I don't understand the good reviews. Run of the mill Chinese. I called the other night, and they tell me they're out of rice (I know right?). So, the uncommunicative, brusque order taker offers me noodles or more chicken. I thought noodles sounded great! I got home and, and of course, I didn't check my bag (amateur move, I know). Instead of cooked noodles, they gave me those crunchy ones that typically come free with soup. I was dumbfounded. For 10 dollars, I received dark meat sesame chicken and crunchy noodles. I called at 8:32 pm (they had closed at 8:30 pm) to see if I could pick up some real noodles, but, of course, they didn't answer. I'll never go back to this place. I can only assume there are few decent Chinese places around, so maybe that's why the reviews are good. Well, here's to taking it down a notch. read more

My favorite restaurant. It's been around for as long as I can remember. My go-to is the combination rice, moo goo gai pan, curry chicken, and the egg rolls. All take out. It's good for at least 4 meals! My family and I have been take out from here for years. I recommend to anyone who enjoys Chinese food. read more

Not worth eating unless you are really desperate for Chinese food

I'm not 100% sure if this is even the restaurant I'm thinking of - it's right across from MGCCC. Anyway, I'd really give it 2.5 stars. I end up going there fairly regularly (maybe once a month) because it's convenient to work, but the place in Singing River Mall is better. I was looking for a decent Chinese but this was not it. I arrived at the end of the lunch buffet at 10 minutes till 2. After waiting to be recognized by the host who accommodated a woman who pushed a head of me, I received no proper greeting. After helping the woman with an order concern (the woman brought her take out back in) the host simply asked me "You want buffet to go?" "No", I replied. I knew anything left at 10 minutes before the closing buffet time was going to most certainly be leftovers with little chance of refill. I looked at the menu. Then I asked if there were any lunch specials. The hosts reply was "Everything on Special!" Really? The whole menu is on special I asked her. Yes she confirmed. Now as a chef I know that that statement is "Mongolian Beef"--or in English lets say "BULL". So one of two things wrong with that. Either the food is so good here everything is special or the entire menu is truly on "special" but she offered no information on that to elaborate. I can tell you what is truly special and that is the pricing. I did a scan of the menu and the regular prices started at over $10 per dish. I wish I would have had the presence of mind to take the takeout menu but was too disgusted by the attitude. Lets just say I wont be "Shanghaid" into giving this place any more of my time. Good luck with this one. Perhaps the food is truly special but the service is not. And that usually reflects what is in store for one's experience with the overall quality of a business that expects to be paid for services rendered. Poorly I might add. read more

Honestly don't understand the negative reviews. This is a small buffet during lunch time but the food is excellent. Greater flavor than most Chinese buffets. It's family ran. Never had to wait or had bad service. I wish they had a night buffet. Granted it's not the absolute best Chinese food I've ever had but better than most around here. read more

I've been eating here for over 20 years. I usually visit them at least twice a month and I have NEVER gotten a bad meal. The buffet is hot and fresh, and ordering from the menu has never disappointed me. I love their egg rolls! This place is a small family run restaurant in a strip mall behind a much larger and much busier Mexican restaurant. I have never come while the buffet was available so I have always ordered off the menu with my girlfriend. All the items that we have tried have had great flavor and seemed fresh, nothing has ever disappointed. The prices are reasonable and the service has been attentive both visits although we go at times when there are no other customers. They do a lot of take out orders. Definitely give this place a try if you are in the area. read more

This was by far the worst Chinese buffet I've ever had! I think the only reason they're still in business is because they're the only Chinese buffet in Gautier. They had no sweet tea. Best Chinese food on the MS Gulf Coast. I have visited them all ; Shanghai has the best tasting food. Egge rolls are the best, Dumpling are so good and well worth ordering . I recomend an evening visit, very good. read more
