Good quality Chinese food. I have tried several different items such as the Mongolian beef, sweet and sour pork, and the Generals chicken for lunch. All were good. Easy to pick up for take out and a nice dining room for eating in. Service was also good. read more

This review covers two visits about a month apart. I ordered Kung Pao Shrimp both times. I added their combo appetizers the first time, and the second time I added Hot and Sour Soup, and Pot Stickers. The Kung Pao Shrimp was surprisingly good the first time (I cook various Chinese styles, but not often now due to disabilities), not perfect, but better than many I've had stateside. The combo appetizers were not very good, with the BBQ pork being inedible (appeared old, dried out, and hard). The second time the Kung Pao Shrimp was not good. It had to have been a different cook. It had a generic Chinese-American sauce found in far too many places. The blanched peanuts were simply added on top in the to-go carton. There were 2 dried chilis. The Pot Stickers were good, and had a good dipping sauce. This 2nd time was delivery, and it arrived sooner than the estimated time, and was still hot. I haven't eaten here enough to have tried many dishes. They do have many items on the menu. I will try something different next time, due to the decent Kung Pao Shrimp on my first visit. Sweet and sour chicken was so dried out that it must've been under a heat lamp sitting for hours. The pieces were tough and difficult to chew. The mu shu pork had a good flavor, but even the pork in it was dried out. The house fried rice was just fair tasting. The chicken noodle soup was good as far as the chicken and noodles were concerned, but the broth was bland and lacking flavor. The inside of the restaurant is very nice and relaxing..... not too cluttered and nice layout. Service was friendly and personable. This was my first time visiting. I'll probably give them one more chance, but it would have to be substantially better and fresher food. read more

My husband and I moved to Carson City this summer and discovered this wonderful restaurant because it's right down the street from us. The food is literally the best Chinese food I have ever had, and I am super picky. The Egg Flower Soup is absolutely delicious. Our favorites are the General's Chicken, the Crab Rangoon, the Kung Pao Chicken, and the Mushu Pork. The service is top notch, too. We love it so much we try to go every weekend. read more

Just had a great lunch today !! Two plates some of the best potstickers ever. Hubby says they rival anything he ever had during his 12 year vacation all over Southeast Asia courtesy of the U.S. Navy from 1969 - 1980. Vegetable pan fried noodles and vegetable fried rice were chock full of fresh vegetables. The gravy on the pan fried noodles was incredible. Great Asian flavor w/o the overbearing fish sauce taste that many other restaurants provide. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for - great tasting food loaded with tons of fresh vegetables. read more

I've tried 7 different Chinese restaurants in Carson and this is the only one that actually fries the fried rice. It's really good, has good fried flavor and isn't full of the uncooked clumps like all the other places have. Sesame chicken is awesome too! The staff is super friendly as well. read more

This place is amazing, I have been twice now and everytime it has been a 100% delicious with every bite. They make their own homemade pot stickers which you don't find everywhere else. It is a little gem of Carson City and a hole in the hole. I want more people to come because I don't want this place to leave anytime soon!! Food was good, however we had to return for missing soups and one of the meals did not have an egg roll. The hostess and waitress were very rude, degrading and combative. I rate 0 stars because of the way I was treated and told by the hostess to never come back, when all I wanted was my soups that came with the meals after I tipped $5.00 on a to go order.
