I've been here a few times and waited to give a proper review after having a few different people give me a massage. They are all pretty good, but Tia was a favorite one so far. She was very thorough and she also quite funny. One thing I wasn't happy with was that my curtain was slightly open for a little bit. And I saw the guy sitting at the desk which made me uncomfortable. Considering I wasn't fully dressed, but covered, I however did not feel secure. 1. Went for a foot massage with a friend and it was the worst foot massage I ever had. But the person doing foot massage to my friend seemed to be good. The person doing my foot massage seemed to have no foot massage experience but was good at back massage. So looks like depending on the person doing a specific massage you can have a good or horrific experience. 2. They kind of force you to pay more tips. I was paying 20% but the owner said people normally pay US$ 10 on a US$ 25 massage ...and coerced us to pay US$ 8 for a US$ 25 Massage by showing a board he brought out from his desk. They use oil during the head and back massage without asking you to change your clothes, and the oily hands ends up dirtying/staining your clothes. I really enjoyed going to this place, I suffer from an anxiety disorder and my muscles get really tight. I've been there around 15 times. But the last 2 times the woman at the front forces me to leave more tip. Yesterday she didn't gave me back my card until I said I was gonna leave more tip. Not good, was like being robbed, she didn't gave my card until I said 18$ as a tip. Very bad. I came here on New Year's Eve for a back focused massage! I'm a grad student so I sit with my neck down all day so treated myself to a massage after a long semester. The head, neck, and shoulder massage was exceptionally fantastic because my muscles there were especially stiff. He took time to focus on those spots to try to get them to loosen up. Massage was good. The trouble came when I paid. The cashier demanded a $10 tip for the masseuse. The massage was $35 and I handed her $41 when she demanded the extra $4 dollars so I hand her $20 and she gives me back ten dollars. One of the three masseuses was a bit delayed because he was struggling to do something on a credit card machine with another customer. He seemed flustered and a bit shaken but switched gears to deliver an excellent massage. It's true that some of the (lowest) prices on the yelp-photo'd menu are no longer options, but for $40 you can get massage that includes the entire body, with oil and hot stones. The massages are always good, although the one I had today was a 10 out of 10, super strong yet relaxing and really helped out my poor, aching back and tendinitis. I have found that I can usually make an appointment on short notice. The place is no frills - very simple, clean, pleasant enough ambiance/vibe, and usually but not always quiet. Yes, it's true that they aren't the very friendliest or chatty people (not much english) and might be a bit aggressive on the issue of tipping, but the masseuses themselves have usually showed interest in pleasing and customizing a massage to my needs, and the prices are probably as good as you could find anywhere in LA. read more

The two stars are because instead of getting the $20 massage I purchased the $35 massage for hot stones but my massage lady only used them for 5 minutes at the end. This is probably the best massage I've gotten. I started getting massages once a month probably six months ago or so because I started training MMA. George got everywhere. Not a part of me that needed attention that didn't get it. He found sore spots and knots with just the right pressure. I was in a daze but he asked if I was ok every so often. He also gave me an unexpected chiropractic adjustment as apart of the $40/hr full body massage. I felt healed and taken care of. My only complaint is that I wish they would let people know to turn off their phones. someone's phone went off a couple times and that was a bit distracting but otherwise great. This is my go to place for a good quality massage at an affordable price. I always chose the B option which is 15 min feet, 15 min head shoulders arms, and 30 min body/back. This 60 min massage is only $25 and they KNOW what they are doing. I have been to many other massage parlours and this one has WAY better skilled professionals. The only down side is that they don't speak English very well but they are polite and do their best to communicate effectively so I will not ding them on that. In addition, they also validate parking at their underground structure so parking is not an issue. I highly recommend this place, they are the best dollar per dollar. read more

Massage started off well until they switched midway through and then the person that came in was terrible. Was pretty much doing a wiping away motion with no pressure. Reason for 1 less star was at the end when the lady pretty much forced me to tip a certain amount and wouldn't give my card back unless I said ok (shame on me). This place is in China Town. Parking is a hit and miss, sometimes you'll get lucky other times you don't; so be aware that parking can be a little difficult! As soon as you enter the location, it's very dim, interesting rooms and wide selection of massages with prices. You select your massage and enter a room. Massages are one of a kind. They relax you with pleasant neck rubs, shoulders and head. They even massage your feet! Felt good in my opinion. The back massages were a bit rough but the oil and hot stones mellow you down, I'm sore typing this lol.
